Ahhh I just got home. I don't have that car built. I'm not a very big fan of those types of cars. I've got a few things I need to do first anyway, so I probably won't be able to join ya. So, we're using the Camaro GT3 again this week? That's the same car we used at Motegi two days ago, right?
Sorry you can't make it, Chris. Yes that car will be used. 👍

Thank you @Thorin Cain. 👍 Just woke up? What's the time there? :odd: :P
No, I'd say put GT before that kind of business.
Right now it is exactly 2008hrs. by the time you get this, probably a little later

Unfortunately I can't sorry. I'm not able to leave that kind of business unattended. If it's not dealt with now it will be at least another 10-12 hours and I don't want anyone else getting caught up in it.

I'm sorry, I didn't meant to come and play. I assumed you want to clarify some things in the forum and... oh, OK. Just do what you have to do, my friend. 👍

I would have loved to come but my boss just won`t let me bring my PS3 to work :grumpy:, I`ll be there saturday for the first race 👍. BTW that was a cool race with the Lancer yesterday, 2 small mistakes and I lost you out of my reach, but I did manage to get close to your best time, .200 off and I never lost sight off you:lol:.

Yes, yes I loved that seeing you keeping up, really. 👍 :)

Sorry, just seeing this now. Sorry too for any misunderstanding my friend :guilty:
That was a couple of hours of practice time wasted for some needless stupidity :( Hopefully that'll be the last of it

As for the time thing. I work nights 👍 So it's about bed time for me now :)

If you have to work today, have a good day :) If not, have a better one :D

Dan I have a couple of questions regarding the the Camaro race at TRM,

1. Where the h... is the entrance for the pit , I mean there is usually a broken line indicating when you can turn in, there are none coming in or out, so can you just cut in at the last second :D, and come out when you want ?

2. In the lobby it says SS or less, so SM & SH are available?

3. How fast are you guys turning in there :scared:? What were the BL times from the previous race?

1. Yes. :odd: Rules updated. :)
2. Yes, but you'll wish to run like hell there. :P ;)
3. If I remember well, it was 00:36 I think.

Yes, I was a little confused and tried to figure it out. ;)
Technically my body clock runs on Aussie Rules :sly:

same to you, thank you.

Don't leave it too late buddy. That pit wall made a nice mess of my grill, hood, chassis...

I was testing there yesterday and was running consistent 36s laps best I got was 36.037.
Only managing 10 laps before having to pit
I got a couple of 36s but was more often in the 37s, it does get a bit loose on the 10th lap when going in the pit , do you think you'll be able to make it saturday?

...and for all racers:

Very Important!
"Pit Entry/Exit Procedures

    • Pit Entry
      • Pit lane starts on the back stretch prior to turn 3 and you must have all 4 wheels on the apron (left of solid white line) prior to the yellow dashed lines going across the apron (screenshot below).
      • Must remain on the apron all the way to the pit entry.

    • Pit Exit
      • Pit lane ends on the back stretch after turn 2 and you must have all 4 wheels on the apron (left of solid white line) prior to the angled yellow dashed lines (screenshot below).
      • Must remain on the apron all the way to this point.

I can not emphasize enough how important it is to follow these pit entry/exit points. I highly recommend everyone to practice this procedure (on worn tires) to get a feel for how fast you can take these corners (especially on Pit Entry) so as to not spin out and go up on the racing surface or spin right at pit entry."

Thanks 👍, will try it tonight :scared:.

Hmmm...I'm not saying you're wrong, but when I pitted last weekend I know that I turned in much later than what is shown in your photo. So, it WILL let you enter the pit area even if you don't get on the apron as early as indicated. It's probably not wise to wait as late as I did to turn into the pits - I just didn't know where the heck the entry was! Fortunately, there was no one right behind me, so I didn't slow anyone else down when I finally realized I needed to cut onto the apron quickly or risk missing the pit entrance.

It probably would be wise that everyone follow the pit entry "rule" that @danbojte has just laid out because of the possibility of severely affecting someone else's lap if you wait until the last moment to turn in, like I did last week. I do agree with you, danbojte...everybody should practice that entrance to the pits. I know I will have to. I wonder why the game allowed me to enter the pits considering how late I turned in...I was honestly in between turns 3 & 4 before I started turning in. :embarrassed: As you can imagine, I had to get on the brakes fairly hard. I had slowed down a bit by getting off the gas, but had someone been behind me I would have really interfered with their driving and that's not cool...

I also was as confused as you were last week when I couldn't see the entry and the exit neither. I had the same savage behavior. :)
This is why I did some research and found the solution. Even if the game let us doing weird things, we will obey to our own rules to have a decent race. 👍
