@danbojte are you saying that the 370Z Sport Package is only 1 second behind the Audi TT-RS? Or was it the 370Z NISMO that was one second behind the Audi TT-RS?

I was just about to do some testing this afternoon and I came down with a migraine headache. I'm just now feeling up to it, so I should be on GT6 in a few minutes to do some benchmarking of my own once I get through all of my notifications on GTP. 👍

and yes I did take some air, and some gravel, and some grass, and more gravel, and part of a wall

I noticed someone car looked a little dirty!!!  :D

Oh wow...Cool... I opened up an Online Room tonight on Nordschleife and took out my 370Z Sport Package. Just as I was getting ready to go out for some benchmark testing, my GT6 friend "Hollywood" popped in (I had the room set to Friends Only so no crazy people stopped in and trolled me with Red Bull cars...). He's a super cool dude. In fact, he is the first person I ever became "friends" with on GT6 - before I even found GTPlanet! He took out a 370Z - set to similar specs, but not identical, and we must have ran 3 hours straight. I did stop to change into my 370Z NISMO, but I'd say 75% of my driving was done with the 370Z Sport Package.

I didn't fully notice this when I ran both cars on Laguna Seca, but @lilcat89 was 100% right when he mentioned the 370Z NISMO being over-steery. The Sport Package is definitely the more planted car, at least on a course like the Nordschleife. We had so much fun chasing each other tonight. Those Nissan's are both fantastic cars to drive. Ridox did a superb job with both of them.

I'll tell ya... Not even 1% of my driving in GT6 has been with ABS turned off. It's not so easy getting used to it being turned off. I had to head back to the pits a couple of times with each car to lower my brake balance because I was locking up a lot! I wasn't mashing the pedal either. I don't do that even when ABS is set to 1. The brakes will still lock up if you do. My friend Hollywood also set his ABS to 0 and the both of us had some hilarious moments in the beginning of our session.

I'm still going to have to get out onto the 'Ring by myself so I can truly benchmark the two Nissan's and Audi TT-RS for my own piece of mind. Yes, we drove with tire wear set to fast and fuel consumption turned on, but we would stop for each other if one of us crashed. We'd pull over and comment on things here or there... So, I was pretty much just pitting every 2 laps for fresh rubber. I will say that I noticed that my back tires would drop to 9 before my front tires with the 370Z NISMO. The 370Z Sport Package was the opposite, as expected. That goes to show you how much sliding around and brake lock up I was having with the NISMO initially. :D

Meanwhile someone had a bad run....
Wasn't me :odd: :guilty:

Nice photos @joaosoaresco and @RMan72. And great commentaries too 👍 Did you finish with some of dan's paint on your car RMan? That's close
@danbojte, So it's the Green hell then? I shall do my bet to attend my friend. I do have a bit of a busy weekend ahead but I'll try and fit the rest around it :D

Edit: As we're reserving racing numbers:D...can I have 46? :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

@Ridox2JZGTE Finally, someone saw and liked this post (Motorsports this Weekend). :) 👍

My main interest is the MotoGP :P

I drove the Sti R205( AWD ) at the ring with @ALB123 and on 2nd lap, it struggled with understeer, front tires worn out a lot faster than the rear  So anyone who picked the Audi TTRS better be nice with the front tires. When I drove the TVR Tuscan Speed Six, the fuel ran out at the end of 3rd lap, so the 370Z and TTRS might also run out at the end of 3rd lap ( tire wear very fast )

Ridox, I had to pull into the pits at the end of my 3rd lap with the 370Z Sport Package, but remember I left the car pulled over idling on the side of the track for about 7-8 minutes. So, I think the 370Z should be able to handle 3 laps without running out of fuel. When the refuel box popped up, it recommended 96 units of fuel and I was able to slide it to 97, so I'm assuming that meant I had 3 units of fuel remaining. Perhaps @RMan72 and @danbojte might experience an empty tank because they're more skilled than I am and might keep their foot to the floor more than I do and therefore consume more fuel -- but I still think they'll make it back to the pits on 3 laps.

@ALB123 Hey don't underestimate yourself. You had an impressive pace at Sierra.
Thank you, danbojte... I'm trying to lull you all into a false sense of superiority! Then once I have you all fooled that you can drive at only 75% effort I'll come flying past all of you for the checkered flag! :sly: I'm just glad that we're all getting together to drive. And, to be honest, as much as I curse at my TV and get upset about it, I'm actually glad that I'm forced to learn how to drive with ABS=0. I've always believed that when I drive cars that didn't come with ABS in real life, I shouldn't be using it in GT6. But, I always wimped out and left ABS=1 even on old cars like my Lamborghini Miura. :guilty:

And I'm glad you've found the right direction to ABS:0. I know what you feel because I was like you. 👍 Yes, you're on path.

I'll probably consume more fuel cos of all the extra weight I'll be carrying from ploughing through the gravel traps and grass - Nordschleife is not my favourite circuit :nervous:

No there is a slight gap between us, was close though :D
Barely enough for a Rizla by the looks of it
Event updates!
Don't forget to join the event.
I think I have but I'll double check. Just taking the Z out for a test with the NISMO 1.5 way LSD, tried the other two earlier :) After I make a decision on that I'll go for some spins in the Audi.

Same here. Just make sure you get out those gravel traps promptly, you can expect me to be following you into a fair few of them
