@LeoStrop, @danbojte, @ALB123, @Gyro1780, @Ronald6, @Thorin Cain, @TurnLeft : The Endless Evo X ST2 replica above might interest you guys :) Let me know if it drives great or not  If wanted more performance for online racing, simply add power, lower weight, move ballast to the back, and use closer ratio transmission setup.

I have Gr N Evo X gear ratios ( 5 speed ) that can be used well :P

I'll build this one over the weekend & let you know what it drives like. Can't wait to try it out :)

Having read some of my old automotive docs, I will update the Elise S1 again later :) Will be correcting weight distribution with full tank fuel, provide additional alignment and maybe 111S version based on the car ( premium )

Notes :

The replica is a build made for @YukinoSuzuka, to replicate a car recently bought in real life 1999 Lotus Elise S1 :) This build is aimed to replicate the real car as close as possible while still aiming for more balance handling.

The base Elise Series 1 uses 1.8 Rover K16 Engine with 118HP or 120PS output. For weight, based on research data, the dry weight is 725kg, with distribution at 45/55. There are variety of weight distribution reported from 45/55 to 39/61 to 35/65, depending on the state of the car ( full tank, with driver or later series 2 with Toyota 1.8 2ZZ heavier engine )

For this replica, weight are in 2 version, dry weight ( no fuel ) at 725kg, and full tank of fuel / curb weight at 755kg. The weight distribution are also provided in several flavor, 45/55, 40.1/59.9 and 39/61. I separated these into 4 built specs, all in 118HP base stock power. Dry weight 725kg comes with 2 distribution 45/55 and 39/61, while the full tank of fuel at 755kg has 40.1/59.9 based on Lotues Service Manual. Only the 725kg 39/61 uses the carbon hood ( body color ) part installed, the other specs do not use carbon hood.

Suspension is the next part to build. The real car spring rate is not possible to use in GT6, due to the lowest value in GT6 is too high. I chose to adapt the S2 Elise retrofit enhancement suspension kit for S1 ( Eibach Springs and Bilstein Damper ) The spring rate of this kit only applicable for the front spring in GT6, as the rear spring rate not possible as it has different lower spring ratio. I adapted similar spring ratio of the stock Elise S1 springs. This yield in 4.3kg/mm front spring and 6.25kg/mm rear spring. Maintaining the ratio of the stock Elise S1 while being as low as possible in GT6.

Damper tuning are in 2 version to support 2 different weight distribution. The difference are in rear damper compression and extension. The heavier rear of 39/61 needed more fine tuned setup to help the rear stay planted and better support of the added lateral load. I used 2 sets of suspension setup above, both uses the same Elise factory alignment.

There is a special setup needed for higher grip tire ( sports tire ) on 39/61 distribution. I added optional anti roll bar ( ARB ) setup for 45/55 distribution that can be used for sports tire. The base 3/1 ARB are optimized for comfort tires ( medium and soft ). The sports tire need different stiffness in ARB at the front ( softer at either 1 or 2 ) if wanted less sharper handling. The range of options are 1/1, 2/1, 1/2 or 2/2. Feel free to try them on SH to SS tire to find what suits you best.

For 39/61 suspension setup, a compulsory ARB changes required for sports tire. The comfort medium and soft can use the same 3/1 ARB which tailored to work with the revised rear damper. For SH, SM and SS tires, ARB setup are listed above, SH and SS uses 1/2 ARB, while SM 2/1 ARB with options to use more varied ARB : 1/2 and 2/2.

The stock gear ratio in GT6 is correct for Elise S1 Base model, but I also provides additional transmission setup to replicate the close ratio 5 speed used on Elise S1 111S and Sports 135 model. The differences are minimal, with slightly shorter 2nd and 3rd gear.

For LSD, the base Elise has optional feature of Torsen LSD. The GT6 stock LSD seems to be setup to simulate this with 7/30/15 settings. I used the stock LSD, as I felt it perform quite well. While I also included an alternative LSD setup to reflect real Elise S1 which do not have optional Torsen LSD fitted. The LSD has 5/5/5 settings to simulate as close as possible rear open differential.

The rear aero part is optional, I installed it just for good looks and set at max value - 20.

The tire used as a base is comfort medium, this is also the tire similar to the real life fitted tire as stock. For reference, I used Keiichi Tsuchiya lap record with Elise S1 '96 at Tsukuba, posting 1:09.70 lap. The replica with dry weight 725kg and 45/55 + 39/61 distribution can lap in low 1:09s on comfort medium and stock gearbox.

I tuned and tested the car at Tsukuba and Big Willow Springs. The Elise S1 on 725kg ( 45/55 and 39/61 ), comfort medium and no assist, can lap in 1:09s, similar to the real life lap.

I have provided 2 replay files, both are done at Tsukuba with 725kg dry weight + stock LSD + stock gear ratio, one with 45/55 and another with 39/61 distribution. Both are in low 1:09s.

Highly recommended to drive with 45/55 725kg spec, very nicely balanced from comfort to sports tires.

Enjoy

UPDATE :

Added with correction of the old, full tank weight corrected and another dry weight specs based on Lotus Service Manual.
The Dry weight 40.1/59.9 distribution retains ballast position of the full tank to simulate no fuel distribution changes being reflected.

Added several sets of suspension and alignment for lowered ride height on stock tire ( Pirelli P Zero and Michelin Pilot SX-GT ) + optional ADVAN A038-R tire special alignment offered by Lotus. Special rear damper setup for 725kg dry weight 45/55 distribution also added.

The Advan A038-R was recommended fitment for ( Lowered ) MotorSport Suspension Kit with front Dual Rate springs and KONI Damper. Spring rate in GT6 has been adapted from actual rate by maintaining spring ratio as the actual value are not possible for the rear spring.

The stock factory ride height has been corrected at 140mm, with lowered ride height update sets at 100mm/110mm. Lowered alignment are available for both Retrofit + MotorSport springs and ADVAN A038-R specific alignment for both spring rate setup also provided.

There are variety of setups now, feel free to try them and find out which one suits you best for each tire you fit :)

Replica has been updated : Corrections and more suspension setup ( lowered alignment and ADVAN A038-R / Comfort Soft/Sports Hard )

No, it just seemed to be very long looking at the graphic. Thank you. :)

Be sure to shift late, the rev limit is quite high into the red line marker. You can get close to 190kmh on 4th and 5th should top at least 230kmh at Suzuka main straight. Making the most of the 3rd and 4th gear will go a long way to make the Evo lap quicker too.

Hi friend, I wonder where do you get the source for the ISF tuning?? I drive a very similar car on track too, IS350. I found the spring settings 10k front 6k rear very soft for a ISF somehow because I'm currently running 12k/mm and 10k/mm set up and still find it soft in real life.

I think I got the spring rate from Ohlins Catalogue, the Ohlins DFV Road and Track was tailored for comfort on street while still able to be driven at the track.

I simply chose to use lower range rate coilover kit as I wanted something closer to stock suspension so the replica would drive like a mildly tuned ISF :) There are much stiffer kits like RS-R Sports with 12/9 rate.

I used resources from the net ( car reviews, car catalogue, forums, ) and digital manuals.

Notes :

The JUN Auto BRZ Turbo Demo car was showcased back in Sept 2014.

The car was built with mild upgrades, mainly with :
Boost Level : 0.8kg/cm2
Max Power : 297.3ps / 7250rpm
Max Torque : 35.7kgf-m / 4700rpm
Engine : Stock Internals
Turbine : Greddy Turbine Kit T518Z
Throttle Body : JUN Big Throttle Body
Exhaust Manifold : GReddy turbo manifold
Exhaust Muffler : GReddy Comfort Sports GTS Ver2
Engine Control Unit : EcuTek
Boost Controller : GReddy Profec Boost Controller
Clutch : JUN Single Sport Clutch Kit
Coilover Damper : ENDLESS ZEAL FUNCTION X HARD ( X Coils )
Tire : ADVAN NEOVA AD08R 255/35R18
Wheel : ADVAN Racing RS2 18inch

I built the replicas based on JUN infos and another car data used for track with mild weight reduction.

Suspension use Endless Zeal Function X Hard Spec with X Coil Springs. Spring rate set at 10k/9k.
Using my experience with Tein SRC BRZ and Amuse GT86 builds, I set the damper with neutral balance in mind. While alignment and ride height uses another test car specs which should give the car distinct feel and handing. I have also provided low camber setup as well as variety damper sets recommended for certain tires. The optional higher ride height is set at 122/124, should be used when needed at bumpy tracks.

Weight set at modest 1176kg, a healthy 50+kg diet easily achievable IRL for track session purposes. The weight distribution has been set using real life corner weight of the car with 1176kg weight. At 56.9 /43.1 distribution, reflected in ballast position.

For power and torque, to reach the same spec, I used extensive power upgrades in GT6, and oil change to achieve very close torque number 35.7kgf-m or 258ft lb.

As the real car only has mild modification, the LSD, transmission, and drivetrain parts are stock. The tire used IRL is Advan Neova AD08R ( soft compound ) with bigger size and contact patch at 255/35/R18, this is similar to Sports Medium in GT6. The replica can still be driven with comfort soft with ease, managing 1:05s at Tsukuba.

I tuned and tested the car both online and offline, Tsukuba, Willow Springs and Red Bull Ring ( both ). With SM tire at Red Bull Ring Short, it can easily lap in 57s range, a very quick time for 470PP car and only suspension tweak.

UPDATE August 2016 : Added new Damper/ARB setup as base, with lower rear ARB and lower front extension. The old base are still available with respective optional dampers. Tested at Intermediate seasonal race at Motegi East.

Excellen! I could drive it non-stop. 👍

 Did you drive for 500km :sly: :D Glad the evo X can be enjoyed, it's heavier ( stock ) than most other Evos and WRX :( which made it rarely used in GT6.

I have posted the Jun Auto BRZ Turbo.
@ALB123, you might like this car too, put SM tire, base setup and hit the track.

Only 198 km recorded, even I could swear it is more. :odd: Doesn't matter.

Don't tell the dog, I'm struggling to win the Expert-Ascari with the 370PS version. ;)

You could always bump the power ( install turbo kit ), install clutch + driveshaft and walk over them

I only wish that you could get the Synergy V8 in that JUN BRZ. :(

I saw the engine and specs, it must be amazing to experience the car ( revving the V8 close to 10k RPM  ) I could have built it with hybrid method in GT5 :D

Notes :
Made this simple base tune upon request from a fellow member, the car is tuned for a Championship races with power and PP limitation ( 380HP/526PP ) and no tire restriction ( RS ). Track for the base tune is for Spa Francorchamps :)

In order to hit both limit, I used power upgrades to maximize available torque, then use limiter to get 380HP and 526PP. The track in mind, requires ample acceleration from low to mid speed and good top speed. Gearing has been tweaked for both drafting and maintaining high speed on the long up hill straight.

The Megane still has stock aero, as I felt the rear aero is enough to allow full throttle on Eau Rouge ( no lift ) even on Racing Hard. Any gain in top speed is important for such track.

The tune can used on other tracks, simply alter final drive ratio to suit the track. Please avoid kerb/rumble strip, they are nasty and very likely to roll over the car :)

When tested/tuned at Spa, it easily managed 2:18s on RS tire. The car has great balance, and finding the limit is fun.

Enjoy

Thank you Ridox2JZGTE for this sweet tune!! It works excellent for the now in use QuickMatch at NurburgRing GP track! Barring being knocked off the track by those dumbies who can't drive or choose NOT to drive , as soon as you're broke free of the pack - it's adios :mischievous: to the competition for (usually) a cool 400k (+) in the bank:tup:👍. Thanks very much for taking time to work the tune up and post it for our use! :gtpflag:

Notes :

The ENDLESS ADVAN CS-X Lancer Evo X ST-2 replica was built to replicate the Rd 1 Suzuka 500 Km Race in 2008 Super Taikyu Championship ( car #13 ) and 2009 ST-2 Class Champion ( number changed to #3 ).

The Super Taikyu is a super endurance series under ruling or governed/run by STO and JAF. Running for years, the series enjoyed massive following and popularity in Japan. Variety of cars both domestic and foreign origin join together in all out test of pace and endurance with races counted in distance or time ( 500km races and 12 hours for example )

There are classes where cars are divided based on engine size and weight limit. ST-2 is a special class for all wheel drive cars with 2,001 - of 3,500cc engine capacity and a set minimum weight, mainly Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

The car in this replica is based on the Endless Sports Advan #13 Evo X that starts in Rd1 Suzuka 500 Km Race in 2008 Super Taikyu. The car was driven by 2 driver team, Nobuhiro Murata and Kyosuke Mineo. In 2009, another driver join in, Eiji Yamada with car number changed to #3. The #3 car finally became the 2009 Super Taikyu ST-2 Champion.

In the 1st Round 2008 Super Taikyu race at Suzuka 500 Km event, the Endless #13 Evo X set a blistering pace in practice session in Friday 25th April 2008, best 3 consecutive laps recorded :
#13 ENDLESS ADVAN CS.Z 2'21.346 - 2'18.821 - 2'18.831

The next day, 26th April 2008, Saturday qualifying session, determined by the sum of both drivers best lap, the Endless Advan Evo X struggle for better pace and settled for 6th position in ST-2 Class. Nobuhiro Murata was replaced by Hirokazu Suzuki. Nobuhiro Murata drove the other car entrant also run by Endless Sports - FINA Advan BMW M3 ST-3 Class which ranked 3rd.
#13 ENDLESS ADVAN CS · Z
Mineo, Kyosuke 2'19.237; Suzuki, Hirokazu 2'19.259; Total = 4'38.496 6th ST-2

The best qualifying by CZ4A Evo X was done by car #11 Orleans Evo X Team, with drivers from well known regulars in Best Motoring Video Magazine, "The Professor" Evo Expert Nakaya Akihiko set the quickest Evo X lap time in the event and Kino****a Takayuki posted 2nd best :
#11 Orleans Lancer EVO Ⅹ
Akihiko, Nakaya 2'17.823; Takayuki, Kino****a 2'18.115; Total = 4'35.938 4th ST-2

While, the best qualifying time by Lancer Evo was set by DIXCEL ☆ Shinryo Auto Evo IX MR CT9A with 2'15.868 lap time

On Sunday 27 April 2008, the race day :
The Endless Advan Evo X finished 3rd in class ( ST-2 ) and 7th overall completing 83 laps, 4 laps behind the top finisher.
Mineo Kyosuke 2'19.249 ( best in lap 53 )
Suzuki Hirokazu 2'21.429 ( best in lap 30 )
Total Time : 3:19'17.480

The #11 Orleans Evo X, once again the quickest Evo X in the race, finished 2nd in class ( ST-2 ) and 4th overall completing 84 laps, 3 laps behind the top finisher.
Akihiko Nakaya 2'18.723 ( best in lap 52 )
Takayuki Kino****a 2'19.741 ( best in lap 32 )
Total Time : 3:20'45.258

Nakaya Akihiko set the best lap in the race among ST-2 class cars ( the only Evo breaking into 2:18s range during the race  ), beating the 1st position in ST-2, Sequential ENDLESS Advan Evo IX CT9A driven by Hisashi Wada with 2'19.189 ( best in lap 28 ).

Now, the GT6 replica is set with available information gathered from many sources. The Endless Advan Evo X has between 350-370 PS ( power figure estimation as the Endless car exact power was kept secret ). The Endless Evo X uses HKS and Colt Speed parts for power department ( engine + exhaust ). I have provided 2 sets of power specs, 350PS and 370PS, although I do feel that the Endless Evo X most likely have about 320-330PS due to the very limited range of engine modification allowed in Super Taikyu ST2 class.

For weight and distribution, the Endless Evo X estimated weight was 1390kg based on Japanese Super Taikyu articles and reports. Due to extensive weight diet performed, the distribution has shifted forward slightly at 61/39 from 58/42 stock weight. The ST2 Evo X has safety roll cage and chassis reinforcement with fuel tank at the trunk to provide the best weight balance possible.

Suspension, I used one of the Endless product line, the Zeal Function X Plus ( Soft ) with X Coil Springs rated at 10k front and 8k rear. This is the base setup, while the optional rear rate offered by Zeal is provided as optional suspension setup with higher rear rate at 9.5k.

The base car used for the Endless Evo X is a 5 speed manual GSR, so I adapted the 5 speed ratio using the custom transmission. The stock 5 speed ratio proven to be good performer at Suzuka. The 6th gear has been set to be obsolete.

The S-AWC ( ACD and AYC ) are kept stock ( AYC Controller at 30 and stock torque split controller ), while the other drive train parts like clutch and drive shaft are also kept stock. Brake is also standard as I deemed the stopping power is adequate for sports soft tire used. The brake balance has been increased to provide optimal braking.

Body rigidity improvement has been installed ( mandatory ) as the real car has added roll cage and extensive chassis reinforcement. Aero has been set at 20 ( max ), rear wing height is set at 0 - for 2009 #3 Endless Advan Evo X ( same car with different number and slightly different wing ), you can use -5 or lower to get closer to the real car wing height for #13 2008 Endless Evo X.

The Endless Advan Evo X was tuned and tested at Suzuka. Tire is sports soft, with 370PS power when tested it was capable of 2:16.3xxs lap time with ease. A 2:15s is within reach, similar to the best qualifying lap time during Rd1 Suzuka 500Km 2008 at 2'15.868 by an Evo IX MR CT9A DIXCEL ☆ Shinryo Auto Team . Of course, the 2:16s Evo X 370PS lap is what if scenario, as the best the Evo X can muster at the event qualifying was in 2:17s range. A closer to real life performance would be using the 350PS power spec which will bring closer to 2:17s-2:18s lap time range.

I have provided a replay of test run using the 370 PS spec, base suspension 10k/8k and sports soft tire - offline.

Part 1 (Saturday morning)
I used the 370 PS version with abs/0 at 3/4, I used another blue because I didn't find the one you mentioned so my lap times may be a little off. On my 3rd lap I did 2:18.566 on SS, decent time until Thorin Cain & danbojte go at it :nervous:. Enough chit chat, so what are my impressions? First word that came to my mind was "bulky" :odd:, felt like it ate too much for lunch and I was forcing it to do some excercise  , because of this I approached the curves with caution, also I've been driving a lot of RX8's and S2000's with abs/1 so I was double cautious. It has a slow response to steering but by some magic it makes it through the curves, for a fat potato it took almost everything I could throw at it, ah yes the laws of physics, there's always a threshold point you should not cross, not important, I put the bill for the front bumper and right door to your account :ouch:, funny thing the guy at the pit stop wasn't a bit surprised, said he was use to having people send you the bill, he was whistling "sweet abs" (sweet caroline). Though there is a bit of body motion when turning the car holds on, the first 4 gears are wonderful, but when the 5th comes in I feel like I'm suddenly transported in my girlfriends Toyota Matrix trying to pass someone on the autoroute. Ah, almost forgot out of curve acceleration was wonderful, I almost thought about trying your 7/8 breaking but figured the pit guy had made enough money for today , at 3/4 it was perfect for me 👍. I like and don't like at the same time, I could see myself doing those 83 laps without any accident because I know it will keep me on the road, but I'd always be wishing that it would have a few pound less to get more curve speed, and on the long straight I'd be dreaming of different recipes to cook the engineer :P who dreamed of the last gear.

Part 2 (Saturday night)
What an explosive day, following all what was developing on GTplanet from work. So once home what better way to forget than to go drive a car at full speed 👍, just so happens that as I turn the game on, this car is ready to go. But where to? How about National A - Gong the race with the rally cars. I used the first track, Rottenboden, it didn't feel as weight heavy, traction was good, handling for passing was good, braking was ...... abs/0, forgot about that on the long down hill on the last lap, I was by than really far in front, funny how fast a wall moves towards you, still had time to shake off the hit (had a lot of practice for this playing hockey :dopey:) backup up and stroll up to victory lane 👍. The pit guy looked very familiar, as he saw me trotting pass the finish line I thought I heard him sing "sweet abs". The car was much better here, could be the track grip was more adequate or that the physics engine changes depending wether your in practice mode or race mode. I'd give the car a rating of 7.5/10 , could be 8 or could be 7 depending how I feel and on what track. 👍

I know that you've had your share of differences with certain people, please be careful and don't get caught up in their webs, we've lost enough good people.

For the BRZ do you have LSD recommendations?

Edit: never mind I see you left them stock

Love to read the review, fun and lots of laugh - "sweet abs" Evo X is fat, considerably fatter than the previous generations Evo. The good thing about it is, it has great potential to be quicker while still easy to drive. The slow steering is more likely due to the heavy nose :), lift the gas a bit while turning and it will turn much quicker :P

For the 5th gear, as it used stock 5 speed ratio from real life, the car will need to hit very close to rev limiter on 4th to get into optimal RPM range on 5th.

I will update the replica later with Group N Evo X 5 Speed ( much better ratio ) as optional set for those who want more rapid acceleration of the ST2 Evo X.

I am glad the 3/4 BB works, I was a little worried that it might not have enough bite at such low value.

For track grip, in GT6 different tracks do have different surface grip level ( depend on surface parameter of the track, the time and temp/weather ), different driving mode do not change the track grip :)

For the Deep Blue Metallic paint, I will check later from where I got it :) It's a really nice paint to look at.

The last part, I never really take into heart any differences I had with others, I learned enough from real life  As for being careful and webs, don't worry too much mate, I'm a very  guy. If you have seen me back in GT5 when I was vocal about no ABS, the heated posts against me was much much more aggressive and would set on fire a normal person :P

We still haven't lost the recently leaving 2 great tuners, they can return anytime as they are not banned. They might just need time too cool down and think more about what they will do.

Always appreciate the thoughts

Of course, the 2:16s Evo X 370PS lap is what if scenario, as the best the Evo X can muster at the event qualifying was in 2:17s range. A closer to real life performance would be using the 350PS power spec which will bring closer to 2:17s-2:18s lap time range.

I have provided a replay of test run using the 370 PS spec, base suspension 10k/8k and sports soft tire - offline.

UPDATE : Added Paint details, added AYC optional value for more rotation, added optional RALLIART Gr N gearbox + Gr N LSD with 2 sets cam angle/lock rate front and rear.
Highly Recommend if using the optional LSD to use the front set 1 and rear set 1 ( high cam ), and RALLIART Gr N gearbox with high speed Final.

The Endless Evo X ST2 has been updated with additional LSD and gearbox as well as paint details + high AYC setup.
The blue paints can be bought from :
Deep Blue Metallic from Toyota FT-1 or Blue Metallic from Light Car Company Rocket '07
or Spectrum Blue Metallic from Jaguar XKR Coupe '10
