I had to retake this one out on the track (because of someone who we will not mention), I used the stiffer rear springs, It was harder for me to get the feel of it, but, once I got it, it did very well. Very good car 👍 but unfortunately it's made by my arch rival (Go Suby Go), so I'm prejudiced here .

Notes :

The Murcielago, successor to the cool Diablo. I made this long ago, recently drove it again and found it to be enjoyable. This replica is comprised of 2 version, 2002/2003 Car & Driver Test Base Coupe ( non LP ) and Best Motoring 2007 LP640 Motegi Lap Record.

The power and weight for the 2002/2003 Car & Driver is 572HP and 1842kg with 42.2 / 57.8 distribution, while the 2007 Best Motoring LP640 has 631HP and 1805kg with same distribution.

Suspension is custom tuned by me, as there's not solid information on the spring rate except for the front rate which is not available in GT6 ( the minimum value still too high ). I decided to use 450/750 rate, the ratio has been optimized to work with the distribution. The 2002/2003 Car & Driver has soft damper setup while the LP640 has stiffer front damper compression and rear extension to give better track handling. Ride height is set using the ground clearance data from C & D at 4.8 inch / 122mm.

The gearing has separate set as well. The 2002/2003 Base Coupe has different gear ratio fitted with the 6.2 liter V12 engine which has lower redline at 7600RPM. The Car & Driver max speed on each gear is different than most other publication articles :

........Gear Ratio Mph/1000rpm Max.speed in gears
I .............2.94...... 10.1 ......... 77 mph (7600 rpm)
II ............2.06...... 14.5 ........ 110 mph (7600 rpm)
III ..........1.52...... 19.6 ......... 149 mph (7600 rpm)
IV ..........1.18...... 25.2 ......... 192 mph (7600 rpm)
V ...........1.03...... 28.9 ......... 205 mph (7100 rpm)
VI ...........0.91...... 32.6 ......... 205 mph (6300 rpm)

The Murcielago in GT6 has 6.5L V12 with 8500RPM redline, to account for this and keep the max speed similar, a corrected final ratio is used at 2.750. An optional final 3.137 can also be used to achieve similar max speed often listed by other publication.

For the LP640, the correct final drive has been provided, taken into account the 2.530 rear axle ratio and 1.24 transfer gear ratio. The max speed and acceleration now is accurate for both version.

LSD is 1 way front and 2 way rear, employing low preload at 17 and lower lock at the front. The LSD has been tuned to provide mild understeer but still can be pushed sideways at will, similar to the real life reviews.

The rear wing is optional, while the color paint has been provided with variety of choices. The Mystic Teal Metallic is chosen to replicate the Jade Green 40th Anniversary Edition.

The replica, particularly the LP640 has been tested at Twin Ring Motegi and Tsukuba. At Tsukuba, it can lap in low 1:03s, while at Motegi Road Course, the replica is able to replicate the real life Best Motoring lap record at 2:09.955. My test lap was in 2:08s with comfort soft tires.

The Murcielago is heavy super sports, it has good traction and acceleration from 1st to 3rd gear, and care must be taken when braking from high speed. The brakes are okay, but might need earlier application. On medium to high speed curve, be smooth with the steering and throttle, the heavy rear end can easily cause unwanted overload on the outside tires.
This is similar to the Best Motoring lap and races, in which the pro driver Naoki Hattori has to drive rather cautiously at Motegi, slow in fast out gives good lap.

He noted that the car has understeer tendency, and the rear wanted to step out albeit subtle in process. He cited the uneasy feeling from the rear on turn in, and careful throttle was necessary on exit to avoid traction break out. He even spun at the S turn on the warm up lap ( off camera ). Brake early, smooth driving line is am must, as suggested on the Best Motoring video below. Naoki Hattori best lap during solo run 2:11.435, much slower than the race best lap set by Yuji Ide ( ex F1 Super Aguri Driver )

The replay has been provided for the Twin Ring Motegi lap, using the LP640 specs setup, enjoy :D
Also the video of the Murcielago in action - the lap was achieved during the race at 2:09.955, the LP640 came in 2nd after losing power nearing the end of the race, possibly due to overheating.

There is something wonderful about checking GTPlanet and finding out that one of your favorite tuners has been uploading tunes of some of your favorite cars. Two Lamborghini's in one week from @Ridox2JZGTE? Have I died and gone to heaven?

I just finished putting my newly built Best Motoring Replica through some heavy pounding on Fuji Speedway F. Like it's cousin the Aventador, the Murcielago is no anorexic of an automobile. Fortunately, for those of you who are like me and have a hard time driving such chubby cars, the lower powered Murcielago is a bit easier to drive than the Aventador in my opinion. Still, I would suggest increasing your front brake balance a tick (or two) to compensate for the added weight or be ready to get on the brakes much, much sooner than you're used to.

The car handles quite well, even on Comfort Soft tires. Unlike my review of the Aventador, I eventually installed Sport Hard tires on this Murcielago and what an incredible difference that made. I was just over 4 seconds faster per lap around Fuji Speedway F!! But, let's focus on what Ridox built the car with and that's CS tires.

Throttle control is of the utmost importance when driving a car like the Murcielago and you're sporting Comfort Soft rubber. You might want to get on the throttle a bit more when you're coming out of a tight corner, but if you aren't 100% focused you will be facing the wrong way immediately. Even long sweeping bends require a careful throttle.
Fuji_Speedway_track_map.png

You would think that coming out of the Hairpin turn #6 would be giddy up and go time - just mash the throttle and wait for the Turn 10 braking zone. That's not necessarily the case. With a perfect line you might be able to pull that off, but if you have to make any sudden adjustments to your steering you may find yourself sliding sideways at triple digit speeds.

That isn't to say that the Murcielago is unbalanced and cranky. On the contrary. She just demands that you give her your undivided attention...or she will kill you! :D  Braking is smooth and steady with this build. The LSD settings feel perfect for this replica. You can throw the rear end out when you want to and she turns in nicely. I'll have to go back and drive the Aventador again, but I think this Murcielago has less understeer than it's replacement.

I did myself a great disservice when I first started playing GT6 by installing Weight Reduction Level 3 on almost all of my rides along with Racing Brakes. I developed a driving style that is completely unrealistic -- pushing cars to limits that their real world counterpart could never explore. Lately I have gone back and switched almost all of my non-Race Cars back to Standard Brakes. Slowly, I am adding the weight back to my street cars for when I want to drive stock or replica builds. I really wish "street" cars were more limited in certain tuning functions, but that's a different topic for a different thread.

Ridox has done a fantastic job of bringing us two outstanding replica builds. Like I always say, regarding this garage, I bought GT6 to be able to drive the cars I lust after but can not afford. Experiencing them, with their warts and all and feeling the differences between a Corvette and a Ferrari, a Lamborghini and a RUF -- I want to experience the bad along with the good. The recent 12 cylinder Lambo's have been heavy automobiles. There's no denying that. I can either drive it at it's real weight or I can do a weight reduction 3 and make it much easier to drive. Depending on my mood, I might do the latter from time to time, but the real thrill is in trying to tame the beast!! :D 👍 :D

In the interest of being totally honest with you readers and Ridox, our friendly GT6 mechanic, I will probably be keeping a set of Sport Hard tires on both of my new Lamborghini Replica builds. Believe me, both of the cars are still a handful on SH rubber. I think I wrecked a couple more times on SH tires vs CS tires because I was trying to push too hard. Eventually I will bring data from my tire sets into MoTeC to analyse the lateral and longitudinal G forces of each. Until that time, I think SH rubber provides me with a thrilling, edge of your seat ride in two of the best cars to come out of Italy. Thank you Ridox!!

@ALB123 Great reading, and writing. 👍
Thank you, @danbojte. It has been frustrating trying to write lengthy posts lately as my "N" key stopped working and my "T" key is being very finicky as if it's about to die too. Luckily, I found a little utility that allowed me to map my "N" key to my Right ALT key. It messes with my brain and makes typing a chore, but I like to give feedback on tunes from this garage. You always do such a wonderful job as well. Quite often I have decided to build a particular replica only after seeing your post with comments and race results. 👍

I strongly advise to buy a new keyboard, either it is a laptop or a PC. It worth it. 👍

I should thank you for giving review :) Didn't expect it to be so soon :D, have you tried the soft damper setup with low camber ? If you have time, watch the video and run the car at Twin Ring Motegi, you can use the Naoki Hattori lap as reference ( braking points and speed on some corners ). The car is tricky IRL, similar to the replica :P A pro driver even spun on the S turn at Motegi

Always keep an eye of the entry and mid corner speed, heavy AWD mid engine car are prone to overloading either front or both front and rear when pushed too hard.

Get a new keyboard too 👍

Unfortunately, this is a laptop. Granted, I still could look into replacing the keyboard or even individual keys, but I think I'd rather replace the entire computer. I have never owned a laptop this long. I purchased this Sony VAIO VPCF115FM back in February of 2010! The HDD kicked the bucket a couple years back so I threw in a 256GB Crucial SSD. For my limited use, this i7 with 8GB RAM and especially with the SSD is more than enough. I'm not a gamer, so the GeForce 330m (1GB) was adequate. I do have a desktop machine, which I rarely use, along with the home's file server, Pinky, connected to my living room TV via HDMI. I'm going to be coming into some money soon from an inheritance (I'm talking 6 figures) and I've been thinking about spoiling myself with a killer laptop, so I can play Assetto Corsa and pCars via HDMI out. I just started looking, but THIS looked appealing. I used to do a lot of 3dsmax, Premiere & After Effects work on my desktops, but rarely dabble anymore so I could use that laptop for any 3D or video editing, effects stuff.

Anyway, back on topic. I did prefer the Murcielago with the softer Damper settings. Since I am still getting used to the enormous weight of the Italian beauty, I was finding myself plowing a bit more with the stiffer front suspension dampers. That very well may just be a side effect of my poor driving, but I am glad Ridox offered the setting as it seems to be helping me.

One thing I meant to comment on in my initial post about the Murcielago was the transmission. This baby has got some L-O-N-G gears. I actually like that as it gives you one less thing to worry about when you find yourself negotiating long, sweeping bends or travelling through lower speed twisty road/track. 2nd gear is quite friendly and there is plenty of torque near the lower end of the RPM range. Yes, Lambo's like to rev and this one is no exception, but don't feel like you need to always be around 6,000RPM, in fact, I found short shifting was very helpful in maintaining good balance and grip in many situations...especially when using Comfort Soft tires.

As far as Camber goes, I settled on 1.0/1.0 but that was before I made the switch to Sport Hard tires. I will have to go back and see how 1.5/1.5 and 2.0/2.0 do with my driving style.

Notes :

To get accurate performance and handling to the real world, I tested and tuned at 3 different tracks, all of them have lap record by Aventador LP700-4. Fuji Speedway F at 1:52.55, Nurburgring GP/D at 1:38.80, and Laguna Seca ( MotorTrend Randy Pobst 2012 ) at 1:35.40
No aids
Best Lap
Laguna Seca: 1:36.595 (10 laps )
Nurburgring GP/D: 1:40.295 ( 8 laps )
Fuji GP/F : 1:51.941 ( 3 laps )

There was plenty of room left to get better times, my main problem was the MT , can't count how many times I was over revving or downshifting too fast :banghead:. Speaking of transmission, on this particular car down shifting fast seems to help a lot for the braking process.

I know there are many fans of this brand :odd:, I'm not one of them :D, but you've made me at least not hate them anymore. I loved (especially on Fuji) the way you could lose your line and still hold on by throttle control, so much smoke and noise from those CS tires. The car responds super well to the direction you want to take, until of course the 690 Hp are just over powering the amount of grip the the CS tires are capable of. The handling was very good, grip was good, acceleration was excellent. Transmission settings on GP/D and Laguna were difficult for me, I kept being on the wrong gears at the wrong time, I found that the 2nd and 3rd gear were to close for those tracks, but that's the opinion of someone who is starting to use MT .

One of the reasons I don't particular like Lamborghini's is their look, the wedge look (arrow head) is just not working for me (anymore), they just seem to have borrowed the Stratos, made a few face lifts and gave it a bunch steroids to give it all that muscle, and they've been doing this for so many years, and for the price they sell them, they're cheaply made. Maybe things have changed with the new owners, time will tell. :nervous:

Conclusion: Excellent tuning 👍 of a car that needs it desperately, now the big question, did PD make it wrong in the first place or did you make it better than the real one?

Yes, Lambo's like to rev and this one is no exception, but don't feel like you need to always be around 6,000RPM, in fact, I found short shifting was very helpful in maintaining good balance and grip in many situations...especially when using Comfort Soft tires.

As far as Camber goes, I settled on 1.0/1.0 but that was before I made the switch to Sport Hard tires. I will have to go back and see how 1.5/1.5 and 2.0/2.0 do with my driving style.

For Murcielago steering, if you feel it's too nervous in mid corner, lower the front extension by 1 ( 5 to 4 ), or increase it by 1 to improve front response during cornering. The long gearing of the base coupe is actually more enjoyable to drive for fun, like cruising or track day until the fuel runs out online.

Those are pretty good time for no aids and new to MT 👍 The laguna seca and nurb gp/d lap time requires clean and 10/10 driving to get close or beat the real life lap. The Laguna real life lap if you watch the video was done with very close to limit pace by Randy, you need at least close to perfect braking entry and good exit on most of the corners. For the Nurb GP/D, the 1st corner entry and the esses afterwards are crucial for lap time, but you can also make it up the last half ( after the right U turn leading to the high speed back straight ).

Thank you for giving the car some time and review it 👍 Fit SH tire and it should be more fun.

Very nice lap times, @TurnLeft. I don't know why, but I can't come close to 1:51.xxx on Fuji Speedway F. I just ran four laps with the Aventador on CS tires at Nurburgring GP/D and my 4th lap was a best time of 1:40.636, so not too far off your time...but with Fuji Speedway, I'm like 3+ seconds behind you and Ridox. :boggled: :yuck:

I think I was lucky on my first lap , the first curve on the long straight, I braked and down shifted perfectly, after that I was around 1.5 to 2 second off on my next 2 laps, called it quits due to sleepiness  (long tiring night :odd:), guess it was just one of those magic moments and that the only way I'll be able to repeat it will be to practice until the my thumbs fall off . Sometimes I try so hard and don't succeed, and once in a blue moon all the stars line up and it's as if Ridox2JZGTE was driving for me . BTW loved your Murcielago review 👍👍👍, that was really good.

Oh, thank you... I just like to give Ridox a little feedback - especially when he releases a replica of a car I really love in real life. I don't know how the heck you guys can control these cars with a PS3 controller. The times you guys post are amazing considering you aren't using a wheel.

Notes :

The Saleen S7 is one of the messed up car in GT6, the gearing and weight distribution are wrong. How can a MR car have more weight at the front  and stock GT6 gearing ratio chosen from available options offered by Saleen is funky to say the least

Power stock at 550HP and torque are accurate, while for weight, I provided 2 spec. Dry weight with no fuel at 1247kg and curb weight with fuel at 1302kg. The actual test car weight at 1384kg / 3050 lbs is not possible. Ballast position has been set at 50 ( maximum rear ) to get as close as possible to 40/60 distribution of the real car.
The real car also do not have any electronic nannies, no ABS, no traction control, no adaptive damping or stability control. It's as raw as it gets to street legal race car with comfort of grand touring supercar.

Suspension is custom setup with 450/550 spring rate ( based on Eibach spring, H&R Helper spring and Koni Damper from test drive review ). I have tuned the damper and ARB for street tires, while still good for track driving. There are 3 sets of ride height, I used 2 of them for the 2 sets of suspension. The dry weight and curb weight suspension each has custom tuned damper to suit the weight distribution. The dry weight uses 114mm ride height ( street/bumpy ), while the curb weight is set with 102mm ( track/stock - most publication listed this ). There are reports of 99mm / 3.9 inch clearance, so I included this as lowest ride height.

For gearing, the real car uses ZF RBT 6 Speed transaxle, which comes with variety of gear ratio and ring & pinion / final. Here is the summary as listed above :

List of available ratios for the ZF RBT 6 Speed :
1st 2.860 / 2.560
2nd 2.060 / 1.610
3rd 1.470 / 1.140
4th 1.180 / 0.958
5th 0.958 / 0.807
6th 0.704 / 0.740 / 0.642
( Available Final : 3.220, 3.700 and 4.220 )

The dry weight uses High Final 3.700 and custom gear ratio Set 2, while the curb weight uses Stock Final 3.220 and base gear ratio offered by Saleen Set 1. The 3rd set is the super close ratio and stock final, this offers great acceleration at lower top speed ( still 200+mph ), the optional higher final ( 3.700 + 4.220 ) can also be used for even more rapid acceleration - low/medium speed track.

LSD used on this replica is 2 way with low preload and optimized lock. The preload is set to give positive response from no throttle to mid throttle on mid corner, providing good stability on transition.

I encourage to experiment with the ride height and gearing to suits your preference and track. The stock base gearing set 1 has wide spread, while the set 2 has nice ratios for medium to high speed corners ( used on Big Willow lap ), while set 3 super close ratio is good for smaller tracks with lots of low speed corners ( 3.700 final is good balance, 4.220 offers the lowest top speed )

I mainly tested the car at Tsukuba and Big Willow. At Big Willow, the Saleen S7 is one of the fastest road car replica on comfort tires, capable of 1:21s lap on comfort soft
The 1:21s run was done using the dry weight spec + dry weight suspension ( 114mm ride height ) + High Final 3.700/Custom Gear Ratio Set 2 and NO Body rigidity improvement :P The last sector was in 55s range.

I highly recommend to try the car with no body improvement first, the body rigidity is optional. The real car has welded roll cage.

The replay of the run has been provided, very useful for reference on how to drive the car on the limit on comfort soft tires. Make a note of how the throttle modulated on the long curve and brake application.

Must be fun to race :) I updated the replica with toe value correction, should drive better now, right ?
It's a bit less on the slippery side than before 👍 But it still lets you know who's boss if you start to relax too much. I can't say it reduced the fun factor any.:D

Notes :
I made this special tune to commemorate Ayrton Senna :)
This time, the car is Honda NSX Type R '92, the 1st generation of Type R Honda :)

The car setup is not your typical GT6 tune, I used real world setup alignment, similar to some of my older replica like ADVOX Supra :)

Suspension has been changed with BC Racing Coilover, 10/8 springs and a well tuned damper for road and track complement the springs. The ARB, Toe and Camber are all based on real life setup of a stock Honda NSX Type R.

Most people do not know that later generation NSX has lower spring rate at the rear to give more grip and less oversteer. Most coilover kits uses the same arrangement, while KW V3 uses same spring rate. Obviously the real world spring rate works great in GT6.

Real life specs : front camber range 0.3+-0.5, rear camber range 1.5+-0.5; and front toe out 3.5mm+-1mm, rear toe in 6mm+-1mm.

The LSD has been updated using real world setup, Honda Torque Control Differential has high preload.

The weight distribution on the NSX is wrong in GT6, real life NSX has 42/58, so to achieve that, I used some ballast and weight reduction.

Don't expect this car to be quick, it's meant to be a what if the car has real world stock setup in GT6, something that never existed in GT6

To drive the NSX, you will need some real world driving approach, steer like you would in a real car, brake and gas like you would in your own car on the road :P

I tuned and tested the car at Ascari, Bathurst, Spa and Tsukuba.

It posted flat 1:06 at Tsukuba on a warm up lap using comfort soft

The car is a joy to drive, feels like what a real stock NSX would drive :) It made GT6 Honda NSX more sim like, well almost like on PC

UPDATE : New BC Racing Coilover kit and updated LSD to replicate real life setup.

ENJOY

Thanks for the updates. They're both still great to drive but a bit easier on the hair line:lol:

Now I hope the Saleen S7 can be enjoyed too.

Imagine if all GT6 cars are replica tune when bought from dealership, with correct tires as well, how great it would be ( PD will need to hire lots of dedicated replica tuner/researcher to build all cars with close to 100% accuracy ). Fine tune as well all of the tires lateral grip level specific for each car, then I'm sure it will much closer than I can ever built.
But, then people will complain the cars are too difficult to handle .. but it's the real driving simulator, they want easy to race vehicles, missing the whole realism and sim aspect :ouch:
Then the haters will keep on saying the GT6 is unrealistic, too easy, no challenge, too much grip compared to the next gen rivals  How realistic the cars in GT6 is up to the players, PD give the easy version of stock car with silly toe in and high grip tire to cater casuals. Wrong specification and setup of stock cars didn't help either, and we are not even touching the ride height :grumpy:

We can only hope they get it right in GT7. One thing is for certain. I'll be waiting for multiple reviews before I go out & spend my cash on release day like I have in the past.
To me, the more realism packed into the game, the better. Thanks to the endless hours of effort spent by Ridox, we get replicas as they should be.
Ridox, you should send a bill for services rendered to Kaz & PD ;)

I agree. PD has a kind of dual strategy. Not entirely a Simulator, but very much, not quite a Game also, they are trying to keep it as both. This is advantageous for selling and you, have what to do. :P

Compassion to whiners and haters. :indiff:

What is important is that we (some of us), are enjoying this beautiful product. And I'm sure it will be more and more greater. 👍

No, please don't start this. :) We had a precedent, and we had enough. :P :)
No worries, I got the joke. ;) 👍

More replica garage is badly needed here in GTP to spice things up and brings more life to the cars :P There are many more cars I want to build, more completed, but time is often against me :(

PD should give more tune preset for each car, now we have 3 ( A,B,C ), make that 10 for each car. Stock ( 100% accurate ) setup can't be edited assigned to A, then the rest can be customized by players. PD should also give at least 2 or 4 easy to drive setup at popular PP level depending on the stock PP level. ( 400, 450, 500, 550 and 600 ) Hire tuners from GTP to provide these base PP tunes. I'm sure a lot of players from all skill level will be catered.

Or alternatively or together with the idea above, PD allows us to share tunes online much like car sharing in GT5. Increase the limit to 50 cars shared ( just the tune or the car as well ). People can search it and copy / borrow / save without needing to be friends. Clubs can also have online garage with all cars shared by club members, where the tunes can be copied straight to the one's garage specific car tune sheet.

That would bring lots of life to online and GT community as a whole. Tuner can open shop in game as well :D

Edited. ^

There's no rush, my friend, no competition. Chill. One step at a time and enjoy what you do. 👍

Edit:

PD give the easy version of stock car with silly toe in and high grip tire to cater casuals. Wrong specification and setup of stock cars[...]
Imagine that PD gives these kind of setup for all models:
- Deflated tyres, The softest springs, dampers (1), zero camber and toe;
- 1 gear transmission, lawn mower engine, full opened MLSD, zero brakes etc.

So, the car's setup isn't simulated. The tracks and physics, are. And very well.
You have the table and the tools. Now, build. That's what has to be enjoyed.

@Ridox2JZGTE Would you recommend something for tonight's session? :)

Oh well... View attachment 311946

Is this the roadster CRAP race ? At 430PP, I could only recommend the Honda S2000, there are several replicas, but the Spoon Sport S2000 is good, need power reduction to get 430PP. Will the Elise S1 can be called a roadster ?

No, no CRAP stuff was here. :) Just thought you'd gave me an idea about a car and/or scenario to race when I'll get home. ;)

OK. It's possible that they have changed something about this car, or I could've missed something. 👍
Anyway I already did my racing and was a big pleasure again with this car (one of my favorites ;)).

You propose some fantastic ideas, @Ridox2JZGTE... With GT7, PD should expand on the Community feature and allow players the opportunity to create their own "Tuning Garage". Or maybe, everybody just has a tab that says "Garage" and when I click on the Garage tab while visiting your page, it lists all the cars that you have published a tune for. Let's say that I select your Lamborghini Aventador, it should show me a photo of your Lamborghini in whatever color you've chosen and with whatever Aero kit / Mods you've installed. Underneath that, it should list all of your car's settings -- as if I were looking at my own Car Setting page. Finally, there should be buttons that allow me to Copy/Apply your tune to my own Aventador. If I a missing anything, like Racing Brakes and a Racing Exhaust, for instance, it should give me a message informing me of the fact that I would require to purchase those those parts for $XXXX and I can the select Yes or No to make the purchase of those required parts in one step. If I selected Yes, your tune should then be added to one of MY Tuning Tabs for MY Aventador. It should be labelled with the same name that you gave your Aventador.

I think that would be fairly easy to implement into GT7 and it would be incredibly useful. Heck, you could even make it where the Garage Owner charges a certain amount of Credits to obtain that tune. Obviously, it would have to keep the exact settings hidden from me until I agree to the purchase cost. I'd gladly pay 5,000CR or 10,000CR to have one of your tunes applied to my car with the push of a button. 👍

@ALB123 : We now have favorites car under our profile in community, PD could easily expand that to include the car tune when we click it ( view the tune/spec then allows to copy the tune sheet ), not just the 3D model :D It's a good 1st step to more diverse feature like you mentioned.

I think when the course maker shows up, we should also be able to share tracks, maybe gift cars too :P
