The premium version came later in as a DLC
So why we need 2 of them? Doesn't exist a standard version of that car in real life. :sly: They could have uptated for free since it was one car, they didn't convert all the standards (or a lot of) to premium. That would require some money I guess. But asking money for one car converted to premium, that was kind of lame.

Hopefully the new tire modeling will make contact patch changes actually simulated. It is contact patch which could change the PP, the rubber compound and tread design would still be separate. I trust everyone realizes that pit stops is what forced them to separate the tires from the PP calculation as you could change tires and thus PPs in the middle of a race otherwise... Otherwise we'd have to run the entire race on one tire type or have PP figured based not on the tire you really ran but rather the best tire the specs allowed to be run.

So, if you put wider wheels and thus tires on your car, you'd increase the PPs, regardless of which tire type you use.

And as I have said before, hopefully we will be able to mix and match front to rear at least. A lot of MRs and RRs would really handle better with more rubber on the road at the rear. To handle the weight as well as the power.
