@son of light: About that video review, I love voice commentaries but you can use a bit more life and be a little more straightforward. It's good that you made it long enough though, heck 11 minutes would be one hell of a video

I agree. I want to get better, so thats noted!
Thank you for that comment, the next review will be better!

I could even tell you about video editing but that would go a bit too far since you're using a phone instead of an HDPVR. And I also commented on that video - my name's n00bm0de on YouTube.

It's nice to see that this thread has a lot of views at this moment. Bonjour to all of ya.

To be honest, I prefer using text for the simple fact that there's no need for video editing and making bits look better. :D And I know you prefer text too!!

Articles = text while videos = voice. Subtitles optional. Scoff at me for having such high standards but that's just the way I like video reviews.

But I would be entertained if I get kept on my seat for 5-10 minutes on something Top Gear-esque or something.

Well, there's no replacing the original. So if you want something Top gear-esque, watch top gear.

...Tonight, on Episode 1,256,797 on Onboy's Superb Arguments...

But yeah, original is always best. It's why I watched all of NGE in Japanese (with English subs obviously :P)

You didn't get my point, didn't you.

Anyways...
Nope :D

I recieved my Lancia Delta which i sent in for a tune. Im driving it for a few days now and i must say, it is a little bomb on wheels! It doesnt have much power (335hp i believe) and it has full weight, stiffened, full suspension, sport soft, and some other goodies. I wanted to be a little time attack car. And it came out great :D The car has little understeer, but great turn-in and great overall traction. Has enormous amounts of grip. Really a nice tune :D Thanx! :D

roj, you know how i loved the "Dreamy Ghost" and did a review, would you tune a 1.6 Tigra, or a Honda 1300 9s, your pick and i'll send, i will also donate a car!

Haven't you already tuned one? :P

Haven't you already tuned one? :P

I tweaked it to run better stock with comfort softs...I don't wanna spoil it by tuning it up, it has magic how it is and it's just fun :D I might have to get another one if you tune it though...as long as it ends up 20% cooler as a result :sly:

It'll be 20% cooler and have so much yay too.

I like the 1300 too. My dad works at an autobody shop specifically for one dealership. The owner of that dealership collects classic cars and his most recent is a 1300 honda. Too bad it's really only the shell of the car though, at least it was repainted well.

Just wanted to give a shout out to you boys at RKM, been playing gt5 since release, and gt4 and gt3 before that, and you guys seem to nail the character of each and every car to emphasize and highlight its strengths. I was particularly impressed with your evo x tune, albeit i left the ayc stock as i try to avoid custom lsd's on the awd cars such as these. I took it for a spin around laguna, and while at first it reminded me of all the woeful days bashing my head into the wall trying to drive awd cars in gt4, i started adapting my driving style and found even when i pushed too hard it would still hang on. Take a corner too fast on entry? No problem, throttle lift will get you pointed in the right direction. Fighting the oversteer on wot corner exit? No problem, again a bit of discipline on the throttle will find you clawing back onto your line. I was actually passing the AI with 3 tires in the dirt and the lone tire that had grip again, clawed me back on track. I really couldnt believe the pedigree of the car and the tune, as i had SO much trouble with understeer in gt4 with any awd car. You've managed to turn me back onto these amazing cars with your tunes, and its still a mystery to me how you figure them out. Thank you RKM, youll be hearing more from me in the future.

Thank you for the kind words! :) Also the tuning know-how just comes with experience. No calculators, no theories, just feeling out the tune and adjusting accordingly. Surprisingly, a lot of techniques learnt in GT4 were transferrable to GT5, so we had a little head start there. :D
roj, dont ruin it though like Dragonthing said, i love it, can be comfort softs only :)

I'll happily do it on comfort softs if that's the request. 👍

VTiRoj your ferrari 512bb owned the new historic seasonal, even though there is no added horse power, the lightening of the car did the trick, that thing is like a rocket.

Glad to hear it. 👍

I'll hopefully be able to try out your new Amuse S2000 Turbo tomorrow. :) Finally! Anyways I'll tell you what I think of it but thanks again for tuning it. 👍
Also I'd like to add that a tune which I particularly liked was the Mazda RX8 done by Rotory Junkie (I think). Would recommend anyone to try it if they have not yet done so.
Thanks again to both of you for sharing your tunes and I'll be back! :)

Just tried the Amuse S2000 tune. The car is 10x better WITHOUT the Rigidity Improvement!!!

Let me explain:
When I bought a fresh new model of the car I forgot to install the Rigidity Improvement. I tuned the car to the required specifications and decided to test the car on Laguna Seca Raceway. The car was perfect! The car rotated under braking and was perfectly agile. At lower speeds the back wheels broke loose under acceleration providing a swift entry and counter steering on exit was necessary but predictable. At higher speeds the car was perfectly balanced and composed. The car was PERFECT: 10/10. I managed a 1:24.246 although there was plenty of room for improvement.

After the excitement of finding pretty much my perfect style of car I went back to my garage to get my other, older Amuse S2000 to do a comparison review with the stock car. I reset all the values to default but I noticed that I had put the Rigidity Improvement in a while back. Releasing I had forgotten to install this into Roj's tune, I moved back again to the Amuse car which had his tune on it (the one I tested earlier) and installed the extra Rigidity tried it again at Laguna Seca.

The car was obviously a lot stiffer. The car under steered more and rotation under braking was not so prominent as before. The cars stability on exit was far more stable, but this spoiled the fun which the car previously had. The car did not cope with the elevation change in the corkscrew as well as before, and counter steering the car when necessary was more difficult as the car "snapped back", a bit like what happened in GT4. My finished lap time was 1:24.282, pretty much the same as before, and there was some room for improvement to. I would give the car 7/10.

In conclusion the car without the Rigidity Improvement installed is far more the car you wanted to achieve in the first place. It was far more fun, had souls and had performance to match. The car with the instalment on the other hand has far more grip, and is probably a tiny bit faster but it has obvious flaws which spoil the driving experiencebmoreyou

Installing the rigidity improvement is a habit I have. I'm generally quite lazy with refreshing my cars so with the rigidity improvement at least the car won't go to crap when the chassic wears to it's max. I'll have to buy another Amuse GT1 Turbo and try this out. Thanks for the feedback! 👍

The car with the rigidity instalment is still good, it's just that it's a little too focused for me. Btw I'd like to add that I use a dfgt (wheel) to drive with so what might be good for me on a wheel may be bad for you if you use a controller.
I think you have just made a masterpiece- you just don't know it yet.
