RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

Here's the review:

INTEGRA TYPE R
Thanks for the review, although it is rather short and I'm not sure it's worth a request, sorry. :indiff:

Anyway yes, we do pride ourselves in our FF tunes so I'm glad you found it to your liking! Beating an R34 by 10 seconds is amazing. That little bit of understeer is all that's left to fix in the Integra, but since it is a FWD car, it's rather difficult.
What's wrong with this? It's identical. Hell, my last entry in LotS was that very car in the picture.
Yeah Acura DC2 settings fit the Honda so there shouldn't be any issues.

Well, that Integra is 496PP, I need a 450PP Integra, i doubt i can get the IT350R to 450PP with the ballast and power limiter. I am trying for the BETA class of LotS. The one with only 2wd cars and 450PP limit. I think i have that in my previous post.

 Makes next to no difference. Detuning a car is nothing to worry about in terms of the setup, it's upping power that you need to worry about. Just rip off the exhausts and air filters, you'll get there.

Ok, I think the 2 are quite different cars, considering the weight, because i just checked the values and:
IT350R: stage 3 weight reduction - 1019kg
My Type R '95: stage 2 wight reduction - 944kg

Considering they are both DC2's, the gap shouldnt be that big, right?
Although I don't know the car tuning part of GT5 that much, so I could be wrong....

Edit: with max ballast my car is 991kg.

I understand, although like Onboy says, the settings are a direct fit from the IT350R to your own DC2. Since you have a 6-speed close ratio gearbox, you don't even have the problem of the custom ratios not fitting because they're not applicable to your car.

As for 450PP, don't reduce any more weight, just try and up the power until you're at 450PP. An exhaust, ECU and filter should do the job. 👍

Weight isn't a problem when the gap is only 80kg or so. Hell if you follow what I just said, you'd end up with an insane power to weight ratio. Also do you know the '98 has more grip than the '95?

0.o Da fack? So light? Roj, you're our resident ITR expert, is this correct?

Yes. For some reason I can only chalk down to US car regulations, the Honda Integra is waaaaaaaaaay lighter than the Acura.

Weight of an Alpine, built in the same area of the world as the Prius, better than both. Come to think of it, I should have picked up that '96 ITR I came across a while back!!! :ouch:

Tried the settings on the DC2. Quite impressive, considering the fact that it had 47kg of ballast and power limited by 5%. I even managed to keep it under 450PP with everything on. But at the track the car felt significantly better and even scored the same time as the R34 i mentioned a few posts back. So yeah, I guess that problem is fixed.

Oh, one more thing. You gentlemen shouldn't have a R33 grip tune anywhere, no?

P.S. My English is a bit low on grammar. That's what you get when it isn't your first language.

Glad to hear it. 👍

We don't have an official released R33 yet, waiting for RJ for that one. I do have my own personal R33 settings though.

Just gave your ZR1 tune a try and it's excellent, I'm beyond impressed! Hopefully I'll get around to typing a full review.

BUT THAT R33 WAS ALSO MINE!!!!!!

mine's a Wangan cruiser so nope
Speaking of Wangan cruisers, I dug up your old tranny tuning guide to Wangan gears, applied it to one of my latest and most sleeper-like cars, got it up to 237mph with enough room to spare to get it up to at least 245mph. I think.

Shame your PS3's gone, I want to run you again.

RJ, a miraculous thing has happened! I got into your C5 this morning after a very late night, got on Trial Mountain online, and I liked it!!! Now, to get it remotely close to your lap times…

Oh god, it's the Rapture! :sly:

RJ. one question. You told me to use 4th for the turn after the back straight, right? Do I keep it in 4th even if I exited the corner? Or do I drop it down to 3rd like normal?

Gimme!!!!Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme!!!!!
A man after midnight?

BIG YELLOW PENETRATOR

Roj know all about it :3
Mhmmmm yes.

Thanks! Looking forward to it!

Thanks for the video! It does feel a bit stiff on throttle but then again all my Evo's do. It's the AYC doing that. As you discovered, backing off the throttle to turn is the way to go. 👍

A man after midnight?

Mhmmmm yes.

 What the hell is that?

So what is this big yellow penetration? <--- That would sound so wrong if I said it at my school.

And are you going to show everyone what you did to my Alpine last night? I still haven't done my T-bone. And I've got a new track to play on. It's a snow track :mischievous: And you're my target! Now get in your R35 and get running. The Ram has got more guts now. It'll make mince meat out of your Rice box.

It's exactly what you think it is.

When I can be arsed, yeah. I'm not driving an R35, I might catch something. :yuck:

What da fack?

 So you're saying Dragonthing has a <censored for the sake of the AUP and for me to keep my account>

Well, I'm not going to be your punchbag, so…C-ZETA! It's you! :D

I have a Beetle I am willing to use but it's a full mod...I'll use the GT-R if that's already taken though.
 It's not for a review, it's for fun! And then we'll do the same to an Amuse S2k GT1 Turbo as well just to keep you happy :D

It'll either be on the 'Ring, TGTT, or that new track I nicked off Desperado :D

What da fack?
