I decided to actually do that review on the Enzo GT vs. The Murcielago LP-780-4 SV. So ,um, yeah..... here you go...
Enzo GT: The Ferrari Enzo is an amazing car. I know that even though I've never driven one in real life. So when I drove it in GT5 I was utterly disappointed, the steering was awful, the brakes were awful it was, well, awful. So I came to my favorite tuning group on GTP: RKM Motorsport.
I knew that they had a tune for the Enzo, I knew it was good (I saw a review of it), and I knew that it was RKM's 50th tune, so it's undoubtedly special. hen I first drove it, I put 50 KG of ballast at the very front, I have removed it. I LOVE this car, if my favorites list wasn't reserved for drift cars, this would be there.
This car is SOOOO easy to drive without traction control, something that can't be said for many cars with this much power. Now, I don't like putting racing ties on cars if it isn't a race car, but I know this car needs it. The brakes are still bad, but much improved over the stock setup. I love how I can hammer the gas early in a corner and there's minimal wheelspin. The transmission is also well setup, I can tell some time went into it. On a chicane-less Sarthe I hit 260 MPH without redlining, now that's something.
I think that this tune makes the Enzo the very best it can be, and for that, I congratulate RKM.
Murcielago LP-780-4 SV: Once again, this car was a little disappointing out of the box, so ,again, I came to see hat RKM could do. I think this car also needs racing soft tires to be really good, which is a little annoying, but ya' gotta do what ya' gotta do. The Murcie understeers more than the Enzo, and is a little fidgety under hard braking, but I find this car to be surprisingly fun, and it's also beautiful in Verde Ithaca, but Every lambo is so...
In real life, I've seen 0-60 times for the Murcie between 2.9 and 3.2 seconds, Now that's stupid quick. The Enzo has been rated at 3.4 seconds in the same race. Between the two tuned cars in-game, the Lambo is a smidgen faster to 60, but then the Enzo blows past it, and keeps accelerating.
I love this car too, but just doesn't feel as fast, but, in reality, it is. Now I didn't test these two very long, So I don't want to put out my times, not yet at least. But I can tell you that the Lamborghini was about 4 seconds faster than the Enzo at grand valley. I also compared these two against the other Murcielago tuned by another tuning company, and it was 2 seconds slower than the SV. So, here are the scores for the two cars.
Enzo: Handling:9 Fun to drive:9 Track time:8 Overall:26/30
Murcielago: Handling:8 Fun to drive:9 Track time:10 Overall:27/30
So as you can see, They're both great, but the Lamborghini wins by the tiniest bit, which is why I feel that Lamborghini>Ferrari. But whichever one you choose, you can rest assured that you made a winning choice.
But please, don't start a war about which you think is better, I don't want to see this thread turned into a huge war. I think I'll try the *giggle* Big Yellow Penetrator soon.
