RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

 Fine. I want you to tune a……*drumroll* Mitsubishi Airtek Turbo! :D And that's not the end either. I want you to get as much of the Evo in side it out into the real world :D  Or just do your normal job with it.

Does it have AYC? If it doesn't it's going to feel more like a Galant, but sure when I get time.

RKM...you never cease to amaze me.

I am currently using your Coffee Car Cappuccino in the Japanese 90's Seasonal, and my god, is it a truly brilliant thing. Amazingly enjoyable, pretty fast, and hugely brilliant at racing. I could throw endless handbrake turns at Fuji without killing myself, and it makes slides under harder braking that while at first might seem annoying actually makes it more fun in the end. If it were a girl, it would be a competitor for my favourite. Yes, I know it's ginger/orange, but then so is she...and I'd know you'd want her.

I think I might warrant a full review in this thread for it eventually, but for now, you'll have to wait. Bear in mind this isn't with the actual setup since I'm limiting myself down to 450 for the Seasonal by removing all downforce then putting on weight (which is a very easy way to get a Cappuccino to 450 by itself but I didn't want to make it completely lardy).

use the original, not the RM one, i got a tune for the EA11R no aids not even ABS! and i just love how people in overpriced poser cars say its "Gay" then i baffle them about its amazing weight disrtribution, followed by a quick check-up on how the little suzuki has its own race...Cappuccino cup, which is very popular in japan! now Mr.10 year-old with a bright green 458 and a wing that does not even work due to his pre-pubic little mind not understanding how to read, tell me something i don't know?
just wanted to get that off my chest! and would any of you reccomend buying a HPA TT, because its twin turbo (i think) it struck my attention

I tried their tune for the original EA21R. It was good, but not amazing nor anywhere near as fun as the RM one.

Also, Roj, do you think me turning off downforce and adding some ballast may have affected it in a way? Because downforce should give me more grip to be fair...although it was still slidey despite the ballast. Mind you, it only weighed about 630kg anyway with my ballast...

Well it is a Kei-car, that's their job and they're the best in the business at doing it. :D

It's always good to beat the mouthy ones with a car like a Cappuccino. 👍

Yeah. By removing the downforce and adding weight, you'd probably end up going slower than a non-RM 450PP Cappuccino anyway. Downforce does a better job than ballast to increase grip, so yeah.

A lot of the Kei cars generate amazing amounts of grip.
The Cappuccino RM in my opinion has almost zero grip advantage with a given tire type over several other Kei cars.
It's lack of power and torque actually means its one of the slower Kei cars.

Tough luck on getting grounded. :ouch: Thanks for the kind words though! :D I don't get the 0/0.0/0 mentality at all.
Actually, I may be able to get un-grounded today. Which means NSX testing, after I go through the seasonal events. The 0/0/0 thing is annoying, it's a driving game, not a collecting game.👎 But I suppose people bought the game with their money and can do what they want with it.
Airtrek? Finally.

+1:tup:

But it's a premium! So it gains some points back. :D

It is a collecting game in some respects, but I do agree. It's a driving game, so drive! :dopey:

I still love my Coffee Car. :D

I love your Coffee Car too btw. The actual car itself is a little too overkill with the aero though. Pity PD couldn't give us the option to get more power out of that tiny engine - I'd love to see it with 300hp. The thing would be epic, plus with such amount of power the aero would make more cense.

Btw, the car looks really awesome in black!

Both versions of the Daihatsu Copen (not the OFC) and the Daihatsu Cuore/Mira TR-XX Avanzato have 4cylinder engines that can be tuned to just over 200hp making them by far the fastest of the Kei cars. The Cuore/Mira gets a slight edge in cornering while the Copen sets a slight edge in top speed. Given a fairly twisty track they can be surprising potent against full size cars up to close to 500PP.

Thanks for the information I'll try this out sometime. 👍

uMadson?
But we all have to run the cars again to see which one needs yet another revamp. :P

Can't wait for Spec II. Part of me really wants more realistic physics while another part of me is worried that the cars I love might not feel the same.

We're now officially on vacation until Spec II comes. So no tunes or requests until we're back. When we come back, we'll have some surprises for you all. :D:tup:

Right thing to do ! I'm going to publish the same right now !! Stand by mode....

IDK why, but if all the features in Spec II comes out, I'm gonna be a very happy man. And what's that surprise about Roj ? Y U NO TELL US ? lol
