i prefer to troll with the settings off, so while they follow me into a turn at my speed i correct with a power over while they go wide and the aides go nuts cutting power applying brakes and watch as i pull away:sly:

I'm generally crap at driving though...

che69velle
oh, sorry. Wait how do you make tunes if you dont drive well????? thats like saying i cant cook but heres my cook book with my recipes:scared:

I can tune cars fine, I just have an inability to keep up with anyone else, or even stay on the track as soon as I'm racing. I avoid online racing altogether, since it's a load of boring crap

Easy. If you can keep the car on the tarmac even with your terrible driving, you know the car is idiot-proof and therefore it's a good tune. :D

So…because you didn't die in a German fireball, my SLS AMG GT was a good tune? :D

Also, guess who's ahead of you in the drift trial @ the 'Ring? MEEEE!!

Probably his Stig like driving rather than a safe tune!

Only because you made it understeer. But by my twisted logic, yes. If you entered into a shootout though, you'd get beaten pretty hard. :P

This time, I'm spraying Goof Off over my tyres too.

Hey, it was tuned for my driving style, I.e driving like a monkey. Well, as we're playing by your twisted logics, that's great! I have no intentions on doing so anyway. :P

 this is getting silly. We'd eventually get to the point where we are in the top 500s. :D

Well I'm 516th right now (until more Speed 12's show up), so yeah. Also, your turn, goof. ;)

I know this will get a ton of criticism, but here's my troll car. Racing Softs, SRF and 670bhp of raw power, only ever used to make 12 year olds in supercars cry to their parents when I blow past. Take off the SRF and it's a proper tuner, temperamental and flawed xD

But can it beat my troll car, the mighty S2000 LM of Holy Justiceness? :sly:

But can either of them beat my Oddyssey (See what I did there?)? Short answer: Yes. Why? Because it's a solid gold van with hot pink wheels. That, and I cringe every time I see it, therefore I have to drive with my eyes closed. Also, I just realized I have none of you on my Friends list. Time to add all the people! Assuming nobody minds of course.....

If I have room for you, sure. 👍

I really need to start using my second PSN account or something. Every other day I have a full list and then I have no idea who I can delete and who I can't.

I just have an inability to keep up with anyone else

Oooooooh reaaally.... !!!!

Here's pics of Dragon's 2nd place in one of our Friday night Historic 450pp races:

1) First lap, Dragon holds her nerve to break away at the FRONT. Carnage ensues behiind as the Pug 205 T16 on cold tyres claims another victim.

CapeRingSouth_6.jpg

2) After a few laps "Speedy's" (current no 1 "cheat car" in series - soon to be handicapped) Merc 190e finds a way through the field, Dragon piles on the pressure out front though.

CapeRingSouth_5.jpg

3) Despite a valiant effort, the Merc solwly but surely closes in on Dragon, the rest of the field trying desperately to keep up.

CapeRingSouth_4.jpg

4) Inevitably, the Merc proves too fast and finaly finds a way past in the latter stages.

CapeRingSouth_3.jpg

5) Behind, the battle for minor places rages between a NIISMO 270r, GT350r, 205 T16, old skool Lancer turbo and the 2002. Great battle :D

CapeRingSouth_1.jpg

6) Our resident flying Finn "Temmo" in the '70 KPG Skyline makes a last ditch attempt to unsettle Dragon in the final 2 laps, but Dragon holds her nerve. Literally "flying" out of the last corner to claim 2nd place:

Couple more shots of Dragon in action:

Pedal to the metal @ Rome, Dragon's Mustang hotly pursued by a 512BB, Integrale, Dome and host of 190e's:

Hopefully see you again soon Dragon... Door is always open for Roj and RJ too :D

Thanks guys, being the shy-ish person I am, it took sometime to work up the nerve to ask. Which sounds weird but whatever. I'm sending friend requests to korza and nascarmaniac now, I'll wait to see if you have room Roj.

Was not expecting that! :D had a crazy time doing okay in that Buick, did not expect it to actually keep ahead like that

I don't mind at all Turtle, mine's Matrix931.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. :D It may seem a tad too early but at least I get to greet y'all.

And oh Roj, it may seem a little like extortion, since I'm doing this with a review for Dragon and not for you, but it's almost Valentine's, and you didn't release this bugger yet, dammit!

GTP Name: uMadson?
Your Car: Remember Roj, the lovemobile
Sending Your Own Car? nope.avi

I have a request to Roj or Dragon :D The RX-7 TC, i would like to see a decent suspension setup for this car. I have the idea that it has great great potential and it should be very very fast. But the standard setup it has now, is just too tricky, too slippy. I would like to see a more grippy setup that could make Tsukuba records :D (i love that track) Wouldnt that be a nice valentinesday gift to all of us?

Okay, I'll add you tomorrow. Thanks again. GTPlanet hospitality for the win!

More like RKM hospitality. Outside these walls, you'll get your face bitten off faster than you can type "Camaro 500PP for Cape Ring please". :dopey:

RJ is doing that one when his PS3 is fixed. It's a tad out of order if me or Dragonthing swipes it from under RJ's nose. 👍

We run a handicap system in most of our series that helps to ensure most of the cars are reasonably equal on certain tracks.

Also, some cars favour handling (short & twisty) circuits, other cars favour power / top speed circuits. This means there's many cars that are competitive (on different tracks) throughout that night we race each series.

We try to be "heavy" with the handicaps on the most popular cars, and at times, be generous with the handicaps for the cars that tend to sit in people's garages gathering dust.

As it stands, the "pimp-mobile" (Buick) as we call it, is very competitive - mainly because there's no-where else it ever gets raced. one of our regulars uses it every now and then and it's really fast in the 450pp Historic series.

It does take a while to get to know which cars are best suited to what tracks though - something to remember when racing with us 👍

Many people question our system / selection of cars and tyres - until they race with us for a few nights, then they realise just how well it works and just how close and exciting the racing can be - even in cars that would otherwise be deemed "useless" in other people's lobbies.

Well I finally repainted the beast, that grubby white was annoying me a lot...

And I agree with the system being awesome! :D I mean, I did come second in a yank tank...as much as I love the Grand National with it's small block V8 and, erm...turbocharger?
