Thank you! Apparently RJ has already sent you a PM about the Oreca so that's sorted. As for our tunes, all of my tunes are with the controller, as are Dragonthing's tunes I do believe. RJ uses a wheel but he uses a DS3 too so his stuff will work for both control types I think. So yes, they work well with a controller. 👍

I thought about buying the Logitech wheel that was made for Gran Turismo that has buttons to adjust some of the settings. It's $129 at Game Stop.

God…how long was it since I last did a review for you, Roj? Must have been ages ago… Anyway…not just here to banter like drunk men, I've actually got something to say!

Jaguar XK-Valentine
I can tell this car was tuned to be driven by your other half, it's so easy to drive fast. There's no loose handling to speak of, which means your other half won't be discouraged by a spin and rage quit, which is a good thing. It can also get fairly quick laps without much effort, which, again, is good for avoiding a breakup because someone couldn't drive.

But it's also good news for us lot, the ones with more experience. Because this thing is…very, very good in the twisties. Virtually no oversteer, no understeer at all, immense grip and when you're bored, keeping the throttle buried will result in the rear trying to break free, but only creating a very, very minute slide. My only slight issue is the slight push from the front, not bad enough to be classed as understeer, but it feels too grippy at the back. I know it's for your girlfriend, but what about when we want to let all hell loose in it?

Lap times? Well, though I'm by no means a great driver (As you should know by now, Roj), the XK-Valentine can keep up with my own tuned XK very well, despite being down on power by around 100hp, although this does weigh the equivalent of a feather compared to mine. But a 1:34.011 on my second lap at Trial Mountain is alright nonetheless, with room to spare for more time to be taken off.

That's the wheel I keep eyeing up in various stores, but I don't have the money or the room for a wheel so yeah.

Thanks for the review! I'm happy the XK-V has started off with a good review, unlike the XK-R that needed work done to it 5 minutes later. But yeah, I'm glad the XK does what it's supposed to do and not the opposite. Also it's a 400bhp Jag, it wasn't going to break loose to begin with.

1:34.0 sounds about right for it. It's not going to give 370Z's a run for their money anytime soon but it's fast in its own right.

Ehhhh, I forgot who it was but basically the car went slower than the default settings, so I had to fix that up. And what? I mean the XK-R tune I did months ago.

Yeah pretty much. I do constant 1:33's in it with a 1:32 hot lap.
