RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

Alright, I know I'm late to the party but I'm gonna add you guys as well

(this message is directed at Turtle and Achyllis)

other than that, you'd better release the lovemobile before Valentine's ends, Roj. Don't go Gaben on me, it's a very good opportunity to make a Valentine's special RKM tune

So technically I have until 8am on the 15th because it'll still be the 14th in the west coast of America. :D

Errr……it's still the 13th. You still have quite a bit of time to tune something up, unless I'm mistaken.

Yep that's the one. The regular grand national was the one with the V8 right?

Oh fine, I just thought I got it confused with the Taurus SHO, that has a 3.8 V6 too...the GNX just sounds so brutal I instantly thought V8. Funnily enough it now sounds more like a Jag straight-6 than a V8 xD

Sorry for the double post but I remembered I had this...

New look for the mini Suzuki...and it oversteers more now! :D

Nope. No GN ever had a V8. Some Regals had various V8s but they were far from performance engines.
Ah the effects of age catching up to me.:lol:

Must have been some other car I was thinking of that had a V8 as regular top of the line engine and a turbo V6 as a special edition option.

Well, that does define the Regal in a way. :P

Most of them had a V8, then the T-Type and Grand National had the turbo V6.
Ahh...okay so maybe I'm not completely daft after all.
Seemed like the V8 and the turbo V6 made near identical power but the big difference was that the V6 was lighter and the change in weight distribution made it better handling as well as quicker off the line.

I used your RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7 tune w/final gear adjusted for Tsukuba's 9 Hours Endurance Race this weekend. It was not as fast on the main straight, and PP 557 was lower than many of the other cars...but it destroyed the other AI-driven tuner cars in the turns.

Depending on tires I used my lap times ranged between 55 to 60 sec, was able to finish 8 laps ahead. I used a Fanatec GT3 RS Wheel and CSP pedals. Thank you!!!!

I don't mind at all Turtle, mine's Matrix931.
Cool another person to add.
More like RKM hospitality. Outside these walls, you'll get your face bitten off faster than you can type "Camaro 500PP for Cape Ring please". :dopey:
Yeah, you're probably right. I don't go to many other tuning garages.

My valentines day gift is a 10-hour shift at work tonight :( ah well...
That's awful. Still, could be worse. My dad works 12 hours every day 6 days a week and gets paid less than my mom who works 8 hours a day 5 days. My dad will probably have to work even longer tomorrow because he had to drive me home from school because I was sick. It makes me feel bad for complaining about school all of the time.

You're welcome!

And yeah, you probably would've been better off shortening the final gear ratio to get a bit of extra speed down the straights, but it seems you won with a comfortable margin anyway. 👍

Well, since I can get that stupid Oddyssey to turn like I want it to, I'm going to use your VIP Odyssey tune on it. I'd like to say that I'll tell you if I like it, but it seems that every time I say that I forget.

So THAT'S who added me... I am derp. You can ignore the message I sent you saying "who be this" and some other stuff. :/

I still need to add you too.

Yupyup, I think I sent you a friend request like... 2 months ago? Something like that.

Yeah, you didn't leave a message so I didn't know who it was. Turns out my list was full just now so I sent a return friend request. 👍

Now if I can pull myself away from Driver San Francisco for long enough (Valentine's present from the girlfriend :D), I'll actually get going on this V-day car for you folks.

Tuner Comments:
Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Or if you’re single today, happy Tuesday! In either case, take the chance to celebrate today with our Jaguar XK-Valentine. Tuned with complete ease of use in mind, this Jag makes for a very quick and comfy cruiser, making it perfect for introducing your other half to playing GT5 split-screen with you.

Remember, let her win the first and the last race, or else. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Oh and for the forever alone crowd, there’s no shame in spending Valentine’s with a purple Jag. I mean, it is a very pretty car afterall.

Awesome. I actually withdrew the first one I sent you and it had a small message, but I thought maybe something screwed up since you weren't accepting it, so I sent another one :dunce:

dang VTiroj, your just a big old softie arent you?
I've always been big softie. I'm almost insulted that I'm not considered as such even now. :P

Yeah, if the person you're sending to has a full list, it won't send. :indiff:

I have look at alot of your tunes and they are awesome for some of the cars I drive.
I'm looking for a great all around tune for my Team Oreca #91 Dodge Viper GTS-R. I use a controller and I'm a pretty good driver with it. Most tunes I see are for for using a wheel. Do these set ups generally work well with a controler?
I have most of the tickets in the game, lots of cars and can donate any car I can or you might need for testing for a bit of help with the Team Oreca #91.
You all have a great forum with some "Awesome Tunes"
Send a friend request to T-n-T-2000 and I'll send whatever you need to work on. Tuning cars and I don't get along to well. Sometimes I can get it and most I can't.
Thank you for having this forum.👍

He definitely is :embarrassed: such a silly thing...

Thank you! Apparently RJ has already sent you a PM about the Oreca so that's sorted. As for our tunes, all of my tunes are with the controller, as are Dragonthing's tunes I do believe. RJ uses a wheel but he uses a DS3 too so his stuff will work for both control types I think. So yes, they work well with a controller. 👍

I won't mention my Oreca tune at all then :sly: and yup, I use a controller too...although I am no good at tuning so that doesn't count :embarrassed:
