If anyone thinks he's hard enough not go home, he's gonna need a 1 liter dose of, umm, Deathscythe?

Meanwhile, in Argentina, everyone went hard. Now it's a ****ing riot over a loss against a Filipino boxer
Not surprised with the women over there. :sly:
What? Name one situation where you'd want that to happen.

Yea, can we change the subject now?
When it's blowy day. :P

No.
So we all went into posting up innuendos all because of a song reference.

And oh, my 2 bucks says Roj will take 10000th post.
You may lose $2 soon. :P
PENIS. That is all. Back to work!

Again? I fed you this morning!

Welcome to RKM Motorsports, please do not feed the Innuendo Squad.

I'll go ahead and waste my 2bucko's.

Here you go, Roj.

And oh, Roj, I've stanced up my EG6 with the Milano Red chips you gave me, thank you very much. It's understeering at TM but I always go hard :mischievous:

ninja edits bla bla bla.

Hay guise, can I maybe get some reviews up in here yo? :dopey:

But really...I was planning to trawl through the last hundred or so pages since I joined the RKM brigade and link all my reviews to the cars' posts :D if I can at all be bothered...so get reviewing guise! I need good stuff to put there :D

You know I'm always up for helping out with these kind of things, so yea, either tomorrow or…yea, tomorrow, Imma try and get two or 3 cars driven. 👍

:D

Well then get driving! :D then you can request more random thingies too ^_^

I would. If it wasn't…say…11PM over here and I didn't have school tomorrow along with my dad who is looming over me because I failed my Economics test, if it wasn't like that, I'd be on it right now!

I guess I'll just pick out the cars I want to test then…The Vipers, definitely, both of them, the R34 RM Touring Car would be nice, and maybe, if I have time, the Impreza or the SL600.

Here 'ya go:

RKM Honda S2000 LM Turbo

As some of you may know, the Honda S2000 LM is one of my favourite cars in GT5. What’s not to like about it. It’s bright pink, it sounds amazing and it has one of the best chassis’ in the game. Period. I decided to compare RKM’s tune against my own in a sort of battle royale.

I started off by testing Dragonthing’s tune. It has around 380BHP thanks to the high-RPM turbo and it weighs just over 1000kg with SuperGT levels of downforce. The first thing you notice is how eager the car is. It wants you to take all corners flat out in a truly amazing way. Turn the steering wheel and car will follow. This car really punches above its own weight. I used my 514PP NA version to great success in the recent Online A-Spec seasonal events, beating the various high-powered race cars like the RX-7 LM, Fairlady Z LM and McLaren F1 GT-R Race Car. The engine is awesome. It rev’s sky high and sounds aurally epic. It doesn’t have the low-end torque but it still manages to accelerate quite quickly.
I reckon the bright pink makes it faster and it makes it the perfect troll car for online lobbies. And at night, the extensive headlight setup provides more than enough light to light up the road and wake up the neighbours.

To compare both tune’s, I decided to do a lap shootout at Trial Mountain and at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Wet). At Trial Mountain, the RKM tune did well, but wasn’t able to take the first sector as fast. It suffered from a little understeer but nothing that can’t be fixed. It managed a respectable 1:26.897.

Next up was my tune. I kept it Naturally Aspirated which meant it had a 70BHP power deficit. This didn’t seem to affect it though. It easily managed to take the first sector at near-full throttle. The car remained composed and stable throughout the lap. It managed a very quick 1:25.827, a full second faster.

For the Spa test, I decided to leave the tunes as they were, which meant no driver aids, no wet tyres (Test was conducted on Racing:Softs) and no suspension or diff tweaks.
The turbo on the RKM tune meant it was quick on the straights, but it lost time through La Source, Eau Rouge and Les Combes. It managed a 2:34.794.

My tune was outclassed on the straights thanks to having less power, but it made up time through the corners. It was able to take Eau Rouge flat out which helped it to a slightly faster lap time of 2:34.354. Not much in it.

The RKM tune is great, but it’s not maximising the cars potential.
I give the RKM Honda S2000 LM Turbo a score of 15.5/20.

I did review one of yours! You that was blind to not see it! :grumpy:

EDIT: Look here to find one of your tunes that I reviewed.

Toyota Yellow Hat YMS Supra ‘05:

Sweet set up. I have been looking for a decent one. As the car does not have a 50/50 balance, every effort must be made in order to stop the tail happiness from this machine.

Your tune was great, except I lowered the LSD numbers, and brought down the rear spring rate to make it more comfortable for racing hard tires, with no driving options on other than ABS. I left your set up untouched for racing softs & mediums.

Thanks again and more reviews to come!

I intended to do 2 or more "reviews" for y'all but after spending my whole wallet for a snazzy purple X2010 (Finally hit 40 B-Spec!) I had to use what was in my garage now.

Saw me a Falcon or 5 in there so I wrote down that tune (bad news though, the tune cant exist anymore. Cant buy any of the items in list for it.) which was disheartening when I went to set it up. Thought it might make an interesting 600-650PP runner.

So I moved on... and on... and on some more. All the while letting BoB go make me some dinero gambling on ponies.

Then I spotted my Golden Goose! RJ's Locust tune!!! Looked fun, sounded fun. And by jiminy golly mccreepers I was gonna do it!

So I put it together (side note: no need to use power leveler unless Im retarded and missed something cus after I put it together it was @499PP w/ 100% engine). And first I let BoB loose with it and HOT DAMN THAT M*THERFSCKER is good with it. Even tapped the heiny of the ever so dominant Shelby in latest Seasonal. And winning by a large enough margin that it was almost laughable. So I set him out to do the other 500PP Seasonals and all were same results. The car is dominant. Or BoB is... whatever take one. So after that I set in to drive it myself!

First up Tokyo 500PP Seasonal. :( I suck. 6th place and sliding all over the damn place. I think I may have inadvertently found myself drifting (when your high score in the DTs is just over 700, yes HUNDRED, then you clearly have no clue what you are doing) in there as well cus it would slide in the turns but stay. I didnt bounce off anything just sorta sliding sideways while going forward and making SCREEEEEEEECCCCCHHCHHH noises like crazy. Also noted that 2nd to 3rd skipping I mentioned before was here too. Not so much in the straights but any, even slight, turn and if Im going from 2->3 BAM! red light and skiptotheloo action.

So I moved to a different track. Trial Mountain 500PP, maybe this will be more my style. And lookeehere, yes yes it is! 3 laps in and in 3rd place! But then I remembered I suck and sent her spinning in to the cow chow on lap 4, fell to 7th and finished 3rd overall a full 7 seconds behind leaders. :(

I then looked closer at the times. 1:43... 1:44 (and then three 1:5xs) which was much faster than the leaders. So its not so much the tune, it is my handling of the tune that is the WHY I stink but BoB rocks. So for hamfisted DS3 users, it takes some getting used to and finesse in order to drive it. For BoB though... just set him loose and collect your dough at the door.

Now to hunt me down a S2000 LM Turbo... pretty bird

Oh and "innuendo" is what Mario yells when he wants anal.

*EDIT corrected tuners name to show proper credit.

Glad you enjoyed the car! 👍

A race between me and you would be way too close.. I loved reading that review.. Seemed exactly what would happen to me :)

Break-in.

Yep, the Evora is an insane car even with Bob driving. It was complete, total humiliation for the GVS 300km where I broke it in.

Well... I hate to say it...

But the Locust isn't exactly forgiving. At all. As you've noticed. If you play "nice" with it, it's fast as heck and actually pretty comfortable, but being even slightly hamfisted with it will result in your virtual death.

So I moved to a different track. Trial Mountain 500PP, maybe this will be more my style. And lookeehere, yes yes it is! 3 laps in and in 3rd place! Yeah, it's not exactly a car for everyone either. Every Evora is a bit of an axe murderer and to tune it out is to neuter the car though.

oops my apologies RJ in not giving credit due... (could have sworn I found it under her list). And I feel the need to clarify about that Falcon tune: it wasnt that I was short the credits to buy the stuff for it, it is that they disabled Engine 3 and all the other stuff on it or it is already installed. I tried to use the tune but the car comes out really "off". ie; the stock version blows it away in B or A Spec.

I will revisit the Locust again (FYI, I really picked it cus I had Machine Head's latest album playing on PC in background when perusing the tunes, and Locust was the track). I'll try to be more selective in future though ;) AND get right person the nod. Sorry again about that.

One word, Consistent. Thats what best describes the:
Gran Turisimo Nissan 350Z RS (mouthful ain't it?)

This is a very serious car, it doesn't like to play much unless you REALLY ask for it, it wants to get down to lap roasting, competition toasting business. This is the Annie Oakley of track cars, my first lap at GVS was 2:04 due to my underestimating the cars amazing levels of grip, after that I ran a 1:49.4xx and every lap after was literally within a TENTH of a second of it for at least 8 laps! BTW, I'm lucky to lay down laps within half a second of each other usually. It brakes well, turns nicely and even accelerates reasonably good for a Nissan (sorry, can't help myself)
This 350Z is not awesome in any area, other than the fact that it is as easy to drive as you moms minivan (but a lot faster!).
If you want something fun, look elsewhere, if you want to KNOW you won't screw up and still knock down some heavy hitters, this is your ride.

For some comparison, I surfed through my garage to see what I had that was close in PP, and low an behold an Audi Nuvolari Quattro (stock) with the exact same PP despite an entire Miata more power and AWD. This was a complete waste of time.
The Nuvolari, while fun, is a complete Hoon Saloon. The 350Z ate it alive, but hey, Dragonthing has to eat something right? The best I managed was a 2:08 and it was not even consistent, Total opposite of the 350Z RS.

Nice tune Sapph.

lol, it pays attention to the maintenance...

My beloved RKM R34 became an understeering pig prior to some chassis maintenance. It could barely clear Trial Mountain's infamous chicane. Then after a visit to GT Auto, its magic has been returned, hell it's now sitting at 490 HP and 557 PP

There's something I haven't noticed too - it shifts gears before my eyes gets to blink. The R34 lacks high-end torque so I short-shifted at 8000 rpm. The tranny was suited well for what I usually do. Bravo, bravo.
