Some great updates here once again, I very much enjoyed the selection of badges and details. In the last set, my favourite is the first F40 shot, the front-on one. Very well composed, and the string of lights is a nice addition to the image.

Absolutely love this one:

Really? I thought it was a bit sub-par considering the photo was actually dark & I was shooting into light.

Yes, really. :) Sorry if that bothers you. :P  It could use a bit more detail in the shadows (if possible), but the composition is great IMO.

As Syntax said, I am also glad you toned down the overprocessing, they look way WAY betetr this way. I love the wet Porsche badge and the front-on F40 is menacing, very good eye to see the lights up there... but I'd clone out the round reflection in the windshield. It stands out just too much. All in all, Awesome set, this last one.

Just a few shots I thought were still actually decent from this month's C&C.

My favorite shot of the day.

Something different.

I don't mind the last shots over exposed background, however I feel it would have worked better if the car had correct exposure even if the rest is blownout. The Shelby logo shot is mint 👍

Not going to argue there. Was mostly a poor point-and-shoot shot that was beyond editing.

For some reason, on days like that in a certain direction, I always get terrible over exposed shots. I don't know if it was because the sun managed to find its way directly over head like it did on my Concorso photos or what, but it's annoying because I can't edit them at all to look good.

Maybe check the metering setting you have it set to. If it’s set to matrix, it will auto meter the entire shot and pick what it thinks is the best adjustment, or you can set it to meter on the focus point, which means you have a little more control over what spot you’d like it to pick and adjust to.

If I’m using any of the priority modes, I tend to pick matrix, and then adjust the EV compensation depending on how the shots are coming out.

Some CCM shots.

I know some will disagree, but I think my last shot of the Scooby is one of my best to date. I really think the overcast clouds clashing with the sunset helped make this.

That's a great set, but please do something about the splodge in the LP670 badge shot. ;)
Any advice on what to use to clean the lense? I've tried one product before, but it didn't work very well (didn't make it worse, just didn't get rid of the smudge). :guilty:

I haven't had to deal with anything that wasn't cleanable with a bit of breath moisture and a decent optical cloth of the kind that glasses-wearers use.

There is still a smudge, which sucks because I spent around 5-10 minutes constantly checking the lens while cleaning it. Oh well. :guilty:

C&C welcome.

Have you tried a lens pen? I've just got one (Hama I think) and it works great.

Loving all the shots, I don't think I've seen this thread before! Really like the white 430 although would be better with less pensioners in the background but there not the easiest things to get rid of!

If you haven't bought a CPL, one should be in every photographer's bag. It'll cut right through the reflection on the windshield and hood.

If you go to page 1, and check back at this page, you see a huge difference. Going goooooood!

I don't like the car, at all, but the pic is sooo nice!

I may or may not post the whole set later on. I've also introduced a new font for my credit. A cookie to whomever can guess where it stems from. :)
