All the prototypes are good with -100hp for the race. It would be realistic to have them at their values AS IS for qualifying, then -100hp for each Prototype for the race (they ran higher power in qualifying irl also).

The GT class isn't set yet, I'm really thinking some really detuned current LMP car's, like under 550BHP,

on a regular style track like laguna seca they are very close, but at these power circuits the GTR and the Audi lose so much in straight line speed its crazy,

I just ran Seth's specs for the GT cars, they are good imo. I say post em up unless you want to lap them too Dave?

I agree, I'm stealing them seth, I will make the changes shortly,

If you give the GTR LM too much power it'll dominate. 450hp is enough. Besides, the draft will help those slower cars anyway. And, the braking zones and infield will definitely favor it. The Audi R8 get Stage 3 engine so it should be good plus that thing has a good advantage in turns like the GTR.

I was talking about the GTR R35 TC not the LM concept, I know trust those spec's, my main concern now is the Viper and Jaguar, high downforce cars,

Most of them are high downforce cars 50/70. Seth has been running his series for a couple a seasons now so I'm sure he's made all the little adjustments to even these cars out. I was surprised to see how close all the cars where actually, and the only reason why I was faster in the Dodge Viper opposed to the field was how the car handled my driving style. It wasn't that it was over powered or something, just the way I go into corners suited the Dodge Viper. I'm still most likely going to be driving the Citroen around Daytona come race time' 👍

I'm thinking either the, Audi R8, ford GT or the ginger step child RX-8

op updated with gt car's

selections are now open!

also seth, I thought the RX-7 TC and the Subaru STC were already in the car list, can you spec them please?

The RX7 doesn't get high enough in weight. There's already the RX7 LM anyway. Subaru STC is tricky because it's AWD but only 35/60 downforce. I'll test it some and see how it holds up.

Ah ok, so that would make the R8 outside the reg's, the Lambo is only 35/60 D/F so are the corvettes apart from the C5R, but they are very close in reg's,

it might be come race time, but people who have won championship's/ spot races created on GTP/ C,R,A,P will get initial priority over the group C car's,

Not many have decided to join, so I think we should take whatever comes our way. As long as their quick and clean.

agreed, but, I haven't just thrown up names on the OP, as from experience people sign up and don't come, so, only the people who respond via PM or constantly check the thread will get to participate,

You still want to post there names because it helps promote drivers to sign up. Are we running a 1 or 2 chassis limit or something?

all GT cars on the OP are available to who ever wishes to sign up, I will go through the thread and PM everyone who signed up, the people who reply will be added to the OP,

ok all have been PM'd, times and dates have been added to the OP as well, plus a little GT surprise
