For Daytona, what times are you guys running at race spec?

Also, are we allowed to use any driving aids? I'd like to at least have ABS or TCS

ah yes thanks for reminding me shoe, for now only ABS and TCS,

Seth, do you think I should allow skid recovery?
(I ask Seth because he spec'd the car's)

Thanks mate. Also, has anyone run practice laps?

Hey Dave will it suit you better too if we bump up the race a little bit? The early bird special is a little tough for ya boi to do here'

No skid force. Just tc and abs. The group c cars are hard but if its too hard you shouldnt be in that class.

I believe its going to be 5:30am for Pst'ers so I'm guessing at least 4 hrs, and ill still be dazey driving, lol! What time is race start for you in Aussie?

12-1AM start, I can't move it to far forward without getting overlap's,

EDIT: that can't be right Joe, it would be around 3 hour's earlier the GT500 tuning prohibited event,

Yup you would have to make the race at 8pm Gmt to pull both of us out of the early time. I would be 12 noon and you would be 7am I your close to Sydney. Lol, even earlier if your not! I could race this a little earlier, but now I just realized also that I have to drop my shifter kart off at Willow Springs Raceway to get his 125cc heart transplanet and if I don't leave by 11am I won't make it home by 4pm for Jstc championship. Holy crap now I'm :nervous:.

This is the family garage I bought karts for my girl and daughter too

But my girls kart (red one) I race in a dirt oval series on dirt tires, yay!

This 1 is waiting a custom paint job coming concert on black, never been done before'

So now you guys know why I don't have a rig yet, 2 karts plus a 125cc motor was a set back!

I've just had a go in the Nissan, in race trim getting about the same as you; averaging around the high 1.31s

Yeah. I'm about to open a room, so you guys can join in and practice with me. I prefer we run GT class at first, then move up to the Group C cars.

I won't be able to get online for close to 3hours from now...will the room still be open then

C6.R seems fastest around Daytona so far in GT.

As for the Group C class, I have a few times-

Mazda 787B 1:30.461
Toyota 88CV 1:30.530
Jaguar XJR9 1:31.391

I'm glad you're using the Peugeot 905 Shoe. Because if I use it I'm a second faster than the Toyota and I think that may be the easiest driving car. I think leaving it as is for now is ok. But if someone comes along and they're doing mid 1:29's at Daytona in it (like me), it's going to have to be cut down to 720hp.

Nice Kart's Joe, What if we made it the same time as JSTC but Friday's for you guy's?
