Im going to be 'that guy' and say my girlfriend:lol:.

I want photoshop CS5 but im not prepared to ask my family to spend 300 odd pound for it so nothing really.

I badly want to buy my old man a 30 year old bottle of canadian club but 165 pound is pretty expensive for a drink:tdown:

I never really have a wishlist, as I prefer to see what my family comes up with for me on their own. Always means more to me that way. Also, I'm single and have a good job and buy myself whatever I want all year anyway

My sister and I are splitting the cost of a Kindle Fire HD 8.9" with 4G for our dad, and some fancy fondue pot thing she found for our mom. I try to spend about evenly on everyone so I'll probably pick up a few other odds and ends for my mom as well.

No idea what I'll be getting my sister yet. Maybe something nice for her apartment or new car.

Looking to get a DFGT for GT5. Other than that, I really don't need anything. Some cash never hurts though :sly:

I'm looking for original parts for a '66 Mustang GT. Recently started a father/son rebuild so it will be an easy Christmas.

The wife is getting (needs) an upgraded smartphone. In-laws are getting a nice Summer Sausage, long standing tradition LOL!

As for the kids, I got a part-time job @ Toys'R'Us for the holidays so making choices should be easier this year.

I got an update on the Binary LED Watch. So far it has already been damaged from the factory. It looks like a bit of the black shroud under the glass is missing(looks like it could be a clear glue) and the belt buckle snapped off two times. Though that was easy to fix but time consuming to do so. I'll show you a picture to show what I mean. It's the tiny thing in the bottom right(excuse my arm lol).

The retailer, HDE, who sold it on the Buy.com marketplace is sending me a replacement and is not requiring me to send it back. I wouldn't dismiss this watch since the support from HDE is great! You have a 30 day refund or return/exchange period if you order it from HDE on the Buy.com marketplace.

Edit: I'd like to add that the arm strap is not made of real leather. It's made out of faux leather, a man made plastic leather(I can tell that when the leather is bent and did not show any cross lines from the grain of the leather) but for the price of the watch that fact does not really matter.

Edit 2: The strap just broke on the watch and it's pretty much dead. Thankfully I got a prompt and full refund. I don't recommend this watch for anyone for the band. The band is not well made so you will end up paying extra money to get it replaced. If you are willing to spend $5-$20 on a replacement band then it's worth it.

Edit 3: I've received my money back and I'm going to stop by a Dokota Watch store in the mall to get the band replaced. It's quite a big band size of 26mm 24mm(Sorry, I had my measurements wrong).

Yep. Only good part is the watch itself. If you give it to a family member or friend then I'd recommend telling them the strap is cheap and have it replaced.

For this Christmas, all I want will be Fifa 13, F1 2012, and Assassins Creed 3. Yes, i'm easy to please!
As for giving, for my crush, she's getting a 1D bracelet (:yuck:), an owl pocketwatch/necklace, and i'll be posting a video on her Facebook timeline of me singing "Stop The Cavalry".
For my family, they don't know what they want, so i'll probably get them some random things like slippers and perfume. :P

I just got a new (real) leather band for the watch. I had my measurements wrong, it's actually a 24mm band(15/16th of an inch) but it's still an unusual size and therefore hard to get at smaller watch businesses. After the sales tax it cost me $18.14, which is good considering that I got the refund on the watch.

Now that my misses is back I'm going to get all my online bits sorted next week. Mostly novelty stuff to fill stockings and a few larger bits.

I've decided this year I'm doing the Christmas shopping. Crazy idea, I know, but I've had enough of my mum buying her own Christmas presents because my dad's too scared to go out, be a man, and buy his own wife something. Decided I'm getting my mum Scott Mills' autobiography, which she's already told me she wants, so I might go out and buy her a charm for her bracelet as well as a surprise. I'm getting my dad some Shining Monkey stuff, probably the Ken Block set of products . Not sure what I'll buy my sister and brother-in-law, probably a PSN card so they can fight over who gets their Need for Speed or Battlefield/Call of Duty DLC first. I'm still pondering on what I'll be getting for my two nieces, one of 2 years, the other 10 months. The 2 year old is like me and loves cars, so I'll probably get her something car related. I have no idea when it comes to baby shopping - no doubt the youngest gets all the tat from family, so I'm scared I'll buy her something that she already has five of, all baby toys look the same to me!

Anybody got any good gift ideas for grandparents? I'm always getting them shower gels and stuff... they say they appreciate it but I'm sure they don't. Also looking for other general gift ideas for family and friends. Any cheap-but-cool gifts out there?

If they don't have drink coasters then get them a set of coasters. Ones with cool designs you can easily get for $20 with shipping. They could be made of leather(real leather by the way. Don't buy faux leather as they can look lame and won't last as long. Plus the faux leather is overall stiff and have a plastic feeling), bamboo, and anything else you could think of.

Been looking around for a gift for my dad this winter; he was a proper petrolhead years ago before I came along, owning a string of old muscle even up until he and my mom got engaged. He's now a dull, appliance-driving A-to-B'er, but a recent trip to Italy (and the requirement to drive stick there) got him excited about driving again, even just the hatchback he was driving there.

Anywho, stumbled upon a deal for the track event here from WagJag, and might grab it for him for the spring. He's a big fan of the first-gen Viper (er, first and second), so while their pictures show a third gen convertible (ew), one video sort of looks like a proper GTS, which potentially makes this perfect for him. I just need to get all the details from them tomorrow before I make the purchase. One down... and seven more people to go!

As for what I'll be asking for; dunno. My girlfriend and I moved in together in September, and that's going well. Don't really need anything for the apartment; we'd love it, but space is at a premium and will be for the next year or so. My family seems to know me less and less each year with regards to my tastes; I have to point them in the right direction for most things, and they won't even touch clothing. I'll throw some video game ideas their way, and my book wishlist isn't getting any shorter. They are fine with handing me cash with the promise of clothing being purchased, and I do need a new leather jacket and winter boots, but I agree with them that cash should really only ever be a last resort. It's cliché, but I can't help agreeing with my dad's thoughts more and more each year; the season is all about the giving, and I more look forward to watching someone unwrap the perfect gift than I do receiving something I asked for.

I found these while searching online, I think they'd be good for some friends I have who I don't need to buy anything significant for; you know, just a simple gesture.

Last year I framed some low value money bills and wrote "In case of sobriety/ hunger/ thirst/ lack of nicotine/ transport - break glass."

They went down well.

I got my nephew these diecast cars for Christmas. 1954 Mercedes 300CL and a 1984 Ferrari GTO. Both have trouble with steering and are damaged in some way(Such as missing paint on the ferrari and the Mercedes has a few marks on it and that bump on the hood) Both are in the 1:24 scale. They are cheap if you find them for $10 a car. :D

Gift them a session at a Spa - they probably would love to be pampered a bit, get their nails done, etc.

Getting the wisdom from those simple words is sometimes the greatest gift of all.

For a second I thought you meant Spa-Francorchamps
"Treat your grandparents to Spa, they would love to be pampered a bit, get their nails done etc COMPLETELY BLOWN OUT OF THEIR MINDS with RIDICULOUS G-FORCES in cars powered by AWESOMENESS!!!!11!11!"

Yeah, I'd love to be a grandparent.

No idea what I'm getting my family and friends. My girlfriend and I have simply decided to have Christmas together as our present for each other, while I'm supposedly getting a monetary boost to fund the stereo install on my car from my dad.

Wishes? Well if someone wants to spend ~160k on an MY12 Nissan GT-R, feel free :D

Im getting some headphones, which will be my main present plus a few dvds (the dark knight rises, Bourne Legacy, Expendables 2) and 2 books (Rooneys autobiography and Jeremy Clarksons) and also m y sister has got my something nice that she says cost around £40 but she wont tell me what!

As for giving..i got my sister a few giftcards as she likes shopping plus a few other things and i got my mum a few books and some other stuff..

..it hasnt been a great year for me as ive been jobless all year, so its been tough with little money, so im just looking forward to a good christmas :)...

3DS. I love my gaming on the road.

Other than that, a wheel for GT5 and GTPedia. These are seriously the only things that interest me ATM. 3DS because I seriously need to play the latest KH game. Also a new DS3 wouldn't hurt. Mine is pretty busted up but I've been using it since I bought the PS3 so I can't complain. lol

Let's see if I can afford buying at least the book. Gotta give me nice things and the GTPedia book seems like will be a great read.

For me, NFS MW2012 and money, apart from that I don't know what I'd like.

For my mum I bought a cookery book she's been wanting, and for my dad a new wallet. I never buy very much for my parents mostly because they always end up spending way too much on each other, so I just contribute to those presents.
