For a second I thought you meant Spa-Francorchamps
"Treat your grandparents to Spa, they would love tobe pampered a bit, get their nails done etcCOMPLETELY BLOWN OUT OF THEIR MINDS with RIDICULOUS G-FORCES in cars powered by AWESOMENESS!!!!11!11!"
Yeah, I'd love to be a grandparent.
Since you were already bold - I had to scream you up a bit -
Yeah - I don't blame you for thinking that since I capitalised the 'S'; it should be spa not Spa - since the cap makes it a proper noun and not the common spa that people go around improperly in, with mud all over themselves, and so on, haha.
Wouldn't it be really grand though - if one day, when I am a grandfather, and my grandkids are old enough to afford me a bunch of exotic rides like the ones DQuan got for his birthday once - there is a thread out there somewhere about it.
I would just love that.
I think, though, as one gets older, material objects tend to not be as appreciated (or valued anyway) as much as different experiences - like vacations, or quality times with not-often-met family members, or memberships to clubs, spas, etc.
OTH - I've found older people seem to really love hand-made objects by their grandkids - even just home-made cards, that have funny verses in them, or just loving personal notes. Pencil holders made of cans, or clay, etc - stuff like that always gets them going - I think it's the sentimental value in them that drives the appreciation factor up.
