Thanks!
ceiling_fan - Glad you like it, I don't always intentionally set out to do it, but by the time I've finished editing it normally ends up like that!

Nato_777 - It does indeed! :D

 I prefer my 2.0 entry from the two Z4M shots, normally there is always one or two imperfections in GT5 photos but I don't think there are any in that one.

On that note, I've finished (posted the second photo with the original above) Slipztrem's request; I wanted to do some more shots but the poor quality buildings and environments ruined a lot of the pics :\

Sweet! I'm liking the subtle glow you added - really classes things up 👍. Not sure which I like more - I know what you mean about the buildings too, that's sort of why I suggested it ;). The lighting on them in the background of the newer image is superb though, very subtle and realistic. I like!

I like the 2.0 entry a lot as well - it's technically risky, as it shows an oft-neglected portion of a car (and cuts off the "face"), but I think it works fantastically, especially with the tones you used. It really highlights the varying surfaces of Bangle's flame surfacing 👍

Firstly, glad you like your request! Ahrweiler is a bit frustrating; rendered to a decent level in places and then, other places are truly awful.

So I didn't win the 2.0 comp  I sort of knew that it wasn't a 'poll photo' but it's still one of my favourite photos I've produced.

Thanks ashes! and I've also got round to your request. Here's the preview for now, a 5 shot HDR. Although my copy of Photomatix won't let me export photos over 1mb, so the quality isn't as high as it could/should be.

UPDATE: I've finished your set now ashes, hope you like it!

And also my comp entries for this week:

2.0 Week 41

PM Week 41

Haha cheers guys! I think I might do request a bit more often as I've been happy with the results so far.

Aw Yeah! You've overcome yourself with this picture, just sayin.

The last update is also staggering, so well done there RPanico 👍

Thanks, its definitely one of my favourite photos!

P.s. I've updated my PM comp entry.

I am so glad I picked that car for you. It is simply stunning in all of those shots.
I think your 2.0 should of made it into the poll because that is another very good shot from you.
And I voted for your PMC entry. It's something a bit different and unique.

Thanks ashes. I'm not actually a massive fan of the mustang, although I recently got to sit in and rev up a 2011 Mustang 302 Boss; I think I would buy that car just for the noise it made :D

Oh and might as well post my CCCL entry for this week (I'll try and update with the rest of the comps as and when):

Great job as usual - nice moody feel to the MP4-12C - like 20832 stated, it captures the essence of power. The colors aren't too shabby either. :sly: Lastly, I like your front page layout - great work. 👍

Very nice. And as 20832 said, 'POWAAAA!' would be the right word.
I can't see how you wouldn't get into the poll. :P:tup:

  I agree a proper Clarkson "Powerrr!" is sort of what I was going for. I wanted to try and show off something different to the normal Monaco shots (@20832 - its at the entrance to the tunnel).

Lastly, I like your front page layout - great work. 👍
Thanks, it needed tidying up as it was a bit messy, someday I'd like to get round to taking some preview shots for each gallery (someday!).
And... I didn't plan on finishing off my other comp entries tonight but they didn't take too long, so here they are:

2.0 Comp Week 42

PM Comp Week 42

Godzilla putting the 911 turbo in its place in 2009; setting a 7min 38s lap around the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

Thanks TVR&FF! I've taken the photos for Nato's request now, so here's a quick preview photo. Once I find some time I'll edit them and post the rest:

Wooooo, that's purty. I can't wait to show this one to my 5-year old - orange is his favorite color, and this one looks good enough to eat. :sly: Nice progression of the tones on the hood and great reflection as well. I like the inclusion of the center line in the frame, which sets off the car nicely and adds to the mood.

That looks very clean and crisp! I like the colour of the car and the fact that you concentrated on getting good lighting effects. 👍

Wow! All these comments just for the preview, I'll be lucky to get as many on the full set but here it is. Going from the preview pic it seemed you all liked the colour (although its actually yellow rather than orange), so I've made sure it comes across strong in this set, although probably too the point were there not so realistic anymore and...

...with the final pic I was just having a bit of a mess around with Photoshop ;)

Nato's request; Alfa Romeo Brera Clubsport @ Cape Ring:

P.s. I know I've said before I tend not to like photos were you can only see part of the car, but thought I should give it a go!

I really like the first four, the look awesome 👍 I'm not sure about the last one though.
