I use a DFP.

You have changed your tegs oil, havent you?

I use the bhp figure on the "valuation" screen (where the weight is displayed) in my garage to post up the figures, maybe youre looking at the BHP somewhere else?

Either way, youve beaten the RX-7 time, thats good going.

More work on the teg time though dood, i only did 2 laps to get a 7'45. You can thrash that if you can beat our RX time.......

Come back to me with something stronger, and i'll get back in my race seat. 👍

My teg had 6.2 miles on it when i took it out...... which is possibly why it has a higher bhp figure, but it shouldnt be too different after 19,000 miles if you changed the oil.
You did remember to fit the chip!?

Good luck

:irked:👍

Wow this still going on?!
I haven't been around in a while, probably five or six months, been busy...I see a couple of my times have been topped, I'll have to do something about that I guess.
I'll see if I can't get some times up in the next couple of days.

Im about to have a go in the S2000, be right back...

:irked:👍

7'06.824-VEXD-Honda S2000 '03-297hp/1127kg
Erm, i could find no such thing as an S2000 '04....

Perhaps a typo Vtec?

Either way, the weight/power stats match, so there's a time for you to try your setup against amemyarz.

I did 2 laps with each car only, 1 for warmup, and 1 for fast lap.
Still some time to come off.

Good luck all

:irked:👍

Theyre both new times from me Diego, but you need to clarify with Vtec Inside which S2000 he was using, as i cant find one made in '04 anywhere.

:irked:👍

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I'm thinking it's a NTSC/PAL issue, since Wally's time is apparently also in a '04.

My Honda S2k time was definitely done with a 2004 model, I'm using a U.S.A. spec version of GT4. The only '03 honda s2k that I have on my gt4 disc is the type V model.

8'29.084-Vtec Inside-Honda Element '03-212hp/1372kg UPDATED

Still couldn't get the extra 9 horses out of my ITR VEXD, checked and triple checked everything. Maybe another PAL/NTSC issue?

Which Wally time is in an '04 what?

:irked:👍

Superhero Wally's time in the Honda S2000, also appears as a S2000 '04.

I can spell it out for you if you need me to.

tee hee .l.

EDIT: I also did a couple of Honda-ish times, just to get into it:

7'13.011 --Diego--Acura NSX Coupe '97-347hp/1266kg
7'39.624 --Diego--Spoon Civic Type R '00-228hp/820kg

Updated my times that were beat. Added the oil change also, which is why there is a difference in the horsepower. I'll be back with some more later.

6'48.047 - Superhero Wally - Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A '02 - 362HP/1155KG - Update
7'35.279 - Superhero Wally - Toyota MR2 Spyder '02 - 182HP/950Kg - Update

You inspired me to have another go in the Mazda Wally, but unfortunately, that inspiration left me after 1 lap.

I managed a 6'50.347, but to get the other three seconds off to beat your time would take me a few more runs (which means hours) and i simply drank too much and cant be bothered at this precise point. (please dont update me Yaygo)

Way to go with the time though man congrats

I'll see if i feel running something else later on, when this whisky's worn off a bit....

:irked:👍

VEXD, AFAIK Wally here uses the stock suspension. Perhaps that has a way of improving his times over a stiffer stock suspension?

By the way, is there any way you could pass over a .max replay of yours? I want to chase it. Just try and make it a FR car with a sub 400hp. I'd really appreciate it.

Oh, and leaderboard updated.

Tell me what car, with what specifics you want a replay of, and i'll buy one, tune it as you have, then run a lap for you.

No problems Di.

:irked:👍

Think you could try it out with the Mazda RX-7 Type RZ '93 in RTST tuning?

I will, but it wont be till later on tonight.

I'll post up the lap when i get chance and the maxdrive decides to work.

:irked:👍

No hurry... I won't be doing the transfer before tomorrow night anyway.

I gotta practise if I'm going to kick your ass in something other than Guitar Hero at the LAN next May ;)

9'03.799 - -Diego- - Suzuki Alto Works Sports Limited '97 - 94hp/688kg

errr.... yeah right... like im going to the "Mr and Mrs Spec" show. :yuck:

Had you down as a higher IQ Di.

:irked:👍

Hmmmm ive just set up the RX-7 RZ and got 331BHP, not 344.

My car's brand new, and had an oil change, no bits missing, i wonder where the other 13 brake is.

Ahh well, i'll run you a lap.

Right, done one lap, then paused, then ran one more: 7'03.762
Again, my horsepower doesnt add up, but there you go:

Erm, yeah, so did mine... hence the phrase "my car is brand new".

By the way, i edited my last post, the MaxDrive worked second time (yippee!!)
and you now have a ghost file waiting for you.

Its not a fantastic lap, and i did make a few mistakes, and there was a gratuitous drift at Wehrseifen, but other than that, its nearly 7 seconds faster than yours, so it may help you a bit.
I found the car skittish, and tail-happy, even on R3's, and think it would have benefitted from some softer springs, but i just got in and drove.

No aids of course.

Tell me what you think bud

I'll see how I fair against it. In the extreme I could always go back to the original suspension and see how that goes. Be sure to try out the Amuse Carbon R on RTST settings... awesome fun and likes to drift freely in 2nd gear.

I'll get my setup done today and times also up today for the S2000, but it may take a while since today is laundry day for me.

I thought you wanted a lap man, it says "0 views" on my max file, havent you bothered after all that?

Or am i expecting something to happen that doesnt?

:irked:👍

7'05.941 - amemyarz - Honda S2000 '04 - 297hp/1137kg

five laps got me this. Another second is probably possible.

I ran theNSX and S2000. The S2000 will be moved up to the 3.000-3.999 category due to the change in oil, so it ;ools like I'll have to find another ride for the 4.ooo-4.999 category. Oh well, here are the times.

I only have time to run it over the weekend. :indiff:

Yeah, that's why you still retained the 4.xxx leaderboard first spot, with a car everyone else was driving at 3.xxx spec. Oh well, I have 1st place in 4xxx!!!

I find it hilarious that you guys can drive a S2000 faster than I can drive a Skyline.

*Leaderboard Updated

Geeze. I was feeling so good about my updated S2000 time and then I see ur time wally.

Here's my new time:

Glad to be back, but I have a little issue with the Suzuki CONCEPT-S2. The car maxes out at 130mph, very quickly. Is it at all possible to install a full customize transmission on this car? It's hardly possible to use without one. It just bounces off the rev-limiter even on small straights.
