Glad to be back, but I have a little issue with the Suzuki CONCEPT-S2. The car maxes out at 130mph, very quickly. Is it at all possible to install a full customize transmission on this car? It's hardly possible to use without one. It just bounces off the rev-limiter even on small straights.

I haven't tried that one yet, but sure, go ahead with it.

As for my weekend:

7'09.573 - -Diego- - Subaru Impreza WRX STI Version V '98 - 375hp/1155kg
7'41.408 - -Diego- - Mitsubishi FTO GPX '97 - 252hp/1099kg
7'42.335 - -Diego- - Honda Integra Type R '99 - 241hp/1015kg
7'59.336 - -Diego- - Toyota Sprinter Trueno BZ-R '98 - 215hp/1015kg
8'22.411 - -Diego- - Opel Tigra 1.6i '99 - 143hp/970kg
9'20.036 - -Diego- - Nissan Cube X '98 - 111hp/940kg
9'24.029 - -Diego- - Daihatsu Sirion CX 4WD '98 - 85hp/8630kg

Now wait a second. Are you going to tell me the '99 Integra is 3 seconds faster than the '98? VEXD and VtecInside are battling in the 7'45 field with a '98 tegra, while my '99 is in the 7'42 :odd:

DC2 power :) I'll run an Integra later too. Have to study for a final tonight though, so it might be tomorrow until I get the time up.

7'57.586 - Thirdeye - Suzuki CONCEPT-S2 '03 - 236hp/940kg

Understeer and wheelspin galore!

I ran a 7'45 in one lap yay IIRC.

I'll have another go when i get chance.

Which isnt tonight.

:irked:👍

8'14.927 - Thirdeye - MGF '97 - 174hp/1005kg

Really sloppy lap, the oversteer was almost uncontrollable at high speeds.

I shall update in a bit of time, since I'm in the middle of a vacation... still, thanks for the times.

6'57.609 - Fluke - BMW M3 CSL '03 - 412bhp/1260kg

I took the power and weight as it says in my garage. Cos it doesnt say its weight on the settings screen.

It was my first try, had a few hairy moments because i set the ride height too low, completely forgetting that i would have to adjust the spring rate to compensate, especially on a bumpy track like the 'ring, but as were using sport suspension i couldnt adjust it anyway......GRRR! Made the top right hand section of the track a little more 'eventful' had to slow right down at one point when i came over a crest at 120mph and almost caught the rear left wheel on the grass....!

tehee.... yeah, the 'ring gets quite tricky with stiffer suspensions... I had the dubiously amazing award of most spins in a Ford GT.

7'50.504 - Tom Servo - Nissan Primera '01 - 240hp/1201kg - UPDATED
7'51.444 - Tom Servo - MG F '97 - 183hp/1005kg - UPDATED

I was origianlly going to try it with a renault 5, but after seeing what the elavation levels do to an M3, i think i wont even try.... ;)

I think there are very few cars better than the M3 CSL for the 'ring. Good contenders are the 350Z, Pug 106 S16 (if you don't mind the slowness), and one of the Amuse S2000's, I think it's the R1 Street Version or something like that.

i love the 106 gti, i have a 1.1 106 and my brother has a gti in real life, so i automatically love them.

The 350Z is good, for a RWD car it feels very planted when the track gets hairy, but theres no fun factor with it, i know it sounds like im picking holes here, but when you turn in with the m3 or an impreza or eveo you feel like the car is exactly where you want it, with the 350Z it feels like it doesnt like your driving. trying to do its own thing. Without a spoiler its unresponsive in comparison to others....

I have the second slowest M3 on the board, definitely going to sort out the ride height and have another go.

Bought and tuned a rallye. Heres my time.

8'22.930 - Fluke - Peugeot 106 Rallye '03 - 139bhp/863kg

I maintain my previous assumption. 120MPH in a hot hatch is more fun that 200MPH in a supercar.

The rallye is a true track hero! I recommend it to anyone who wants a laugh!

7'36.021 - Fluke - Lotus elise 111S '03 - 195bhp/781kg

Still waaay off the pace to diego's and superhero wally's elise's though...GRRR!

do not kid yourself, you have to be a robot to match wally's times. I'll usually do about 2-3 laps, but when trying to match his times I'll do 5-8 laps... and I'm still at leats 12 seconds off the pace.

Then again, WRS Div. 1 is worlds away Div. 2 sometimes.

8'22.146 - Fluke - Peugeot 106 RALLYE '03 - 139bhp/863kg

FINALLY! After 4 laps a beat diego's 106! Some mighty fine effort went into that.

It's been a while since I've had this much free time. I gave some Peugeots a bit of a workout, here are the times.

7'47.322 - Superhero Wally - Peugeot 206 RC '03 - 224Hp/1043Kg
8'11.674 - Superhero Wally - Peugeot 106 S16 '03 - 150Hp/931Kg
8'16.066 - Superhero Wally - Peugeot 160 Rallye '03 - 139Hp/863Kg
^I was dissappointed in this one, I took the last turn horribly, definitely should have been an 8'15.xxx, and an 8'14 I am sure is possible, but oh well. Off to try some others.

Also you should consider adding the '76 VW GTI to the FC Transmission list. Thanks
I'll let you know of any others as well that would benefit from the FC Tranny.

I thought about it, but the only times it needs the transmission is on the two long straights.... the rest of the time it hits top speed if you really press it... at least for my grandma-walking-pace.

I've been doing som RTST on other tracks, that's why I haven't been posting here as much. It'll be a while until I catch up to the cars that have been RTST'd on the 'ring.
