Personally I think this was a false rumor. But if I had to speculate on what PD might release if not GT6 then I'd say GTV or Omega Boost HD.

There has been no press releases, not a glimmer of info. I wonder what it was going to be? Its clear that its not happening for whatever reason.

OP-"Please don't underestimate their work even if they disappointed some of you"-Whom did they disappointed?RACING fans!Badly. If this has nothing to do with PRO racing then I have lost my faith to GT,as something deeper car-game then "driving" in croups.-Fingers cross Europeans,I need this

Typically, when a company makes a product they are hoping to sell, they bother with advertising. If PD were releasing a new title we would know about it at least a month before release.

I think Sony would want to keep any announcement regarding PD's next project to E3 or any other media gathering, so we might not see anything new in march.

They missed maybe one or two, the Edge Camaro and maybe the Gamestop Camry. Only a few of the Stealths were released here and were very difficult to obtain simultaneously. When the stealth Spec V was released it took months or years to finally get it here, despite its inclusion as a die-cast model with the US Collector's Edition (I have one sitting on my desk as I type this). The Chromeline XJ13 is still nowhere to be found, though it was released as a Christmas gift for a country that, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't usually celebrate Christmas.

Quit your whining. The US PSN store is HUGE, compared to the one in europe, and you don't hear us complaining about that. Content is often times released earlier in the US, and this goes for a whole lot more than just games. Be happy with what you get, instead of whining about the few things that us Europeans get.

News flash for you, in the European version of the Collector's Edition there was no die-cast model. No key ring. No numbered certification of authenticity. It was the game, five Chrome Line codes and the Apex book and that's it - and it still retailed for 79,99€ which translates as $105.

This time probably not so much about what you get than how it works?Online racing??What if Europeans are getting an option to change(if wanted) their current GT5 "real driving" to "real RACING",with less content but expert(better) physics?I know pro handling is in the game(experience it),they just dont want to use it now.Cant think of better way to take the next step(15 months later!).Photos are nice too

hopefully they don't try put too much in GT5 and ruin the game.
Also I don't think they will put bike at all as the game is call "GT5 driving...."

Maybe... maybe this information was just bogus...

💡

The OP doesn't post bogus info. His insights have given this board a heads-up on more than one occassion.

For all we know, PD just fell behind, just like they did before launch. I trust Amar, and can't wait to see what's next.

Don't be mad if it's this, though.

Except amar is not the source; the source was a post on a French website that was picked up via GAF. Even amar says it's a rumour.

If it was true, then it was likely referring to Spec II, as quite obviously, nothing is coming out now before March 2012.

Not much more than it cost here.

I guess I should have known better than to expect anything but what I got, after all, the general consensus is that we don't deserve those cars anyway.

Not to mention, I just plain hate the concept of exclusive content (pre-order or region locked), especially when it's tied to a code and not the disc itself.
