Russian Invasion of Ukraine

I have met a few people from Crimea and none were outwardly WE WANT TO BE IN RUSSIA but they had no particular love for nor affiliation with Ukraine.

It's pretty important to keep the story in mind here. Ukraine currently has the moral high ground and the world's sympathy. That's helped them a ton, and it will continue to do so. They'd trash all of that if they went after territory.
Well, Crimea was Ukrainian territory, and it was annexed against their will. Stolen from them you could say. As Nazi Germany stole Sudetenland..they didn't get to keep that after the war

I am sure there's people in Crimea that want to be part.of Russia. But the referendum was a bluff.

Pretty sure that no one but the Russians actually believed the result of that referendum.

Its complex situation. Did majority of Crimean population think that swapping country would be smart at that point? Yes. Was "referendum" legit? No.

BTW, coolstory about Hitler the Jew wasn't enough, MAF RF tell us that Israel supporting neonazis and that Israel mercs working in Ukraine. Vicarious embarrassment.

Russia: “Israel are nazis.”

Meanwhile, in Russia, discussions about what to do with “the enemies of Z”:

This pales in comparison to the horrific suffering being felt by both countries, but it does illustrate just how far-ranging the effects of the war are.

IMZ-Ural is a small manufacturer making Ural motorcycles in a factory in Irbit, Siberia. They are based on the 1940 BMW R71 and have been built in Irbit continuously since 1941. They are currently sold almost exclusively as sidecar rigs for adventure touring riders. They come in both one-wheel drive and two-wheel drive (with a driveshaft taking power to the sidecar wheel.) The American importer is based in Redmond, WA, just a few miles from me.

Not surprisingly, the war and the resultant sanctions have made it impossible for Ural to continue production. So they are packing up the entire factory and moving it to Kazakhstan. Irbit will be hit hard losing so many jobs. And Russia will lose one more vehicle manufacturer (even if it is just a small volume boutique motorcycle company.) But they have to do it to stay alive. They survived WWII, Stalin's pogroms, the cold war, even the dissolution of the Soviet Union. But they couldn't survive Putin.

This is an interview with what I believe is the president of IMZ-Ural about the necessity of moving out of Russia. It's all in English.

If Russia pissed off Israel. What chance do the Israelis supply the Ukrainians with kamikaze drones?
Russia sort of has Israel in a bind from making public supplies due to the need to prevent Iran from basically making Syria another puppet state. Russia however has already met with Hamas in recent days so it is becoming more obvious that they are also making a stand.

There were two languages - native and international. Became one - "brotherly".
(Mariupol sign changed to Russian language)
I guess it's one of the examples of that denazification thing...

I wish I could have a discussion with a psychologist and/or psychiatrist about these guys and what's going on in Russia. These guys aren't mere citizens - while they may believe in their Party's mission, they also have full access to global information and they must know how the rest of the world views things. They must have seen the maps with the lines on them, etc. They probably speak multiple languages, they can consume information on the English Wikipedia lol.

But I'll be damned if these people aren't just mentally ill but genuinely crazy as if they're hopped up on Mountain Dew. The things they say have zero basis in reality but they seem to believe it wholeheartedly. What's weird is what they're saying kinda makes sense if they existed in some alternate reality where today's facts don't exist. Every last one of them is off the rails, unpredictable, untrustworthy, angry, and desperate, literally like a methhead. I have to imagine it's quite a chore for the White House's psychology professionals to actually translate the nonsense these guys spew.

Professionals hate to use the word crazy but I can't think of a better way to describe these assholes. They're a danger to the world and they need to be removed.
