It is worth to mention that it was done by Ukrainians who gathered at that place. It should have not happened, even bearing in mind what is happening in Ukraine now, the Russian ambassador should be better protected by his security or even Polish Police. Although, he was earlier notified by Polish Authorities that they were not secure any official Russian celebration of this day (because of the war in Ukraine). So probably he knew that something may happen, he saw the Ukrainian mob in front of the place / monument, so he knew that such incidents may take place.
