The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, had my favourite response thus far. It's edited, but you can likely guess what it said.

Musk really is one of the most insufferable human beings on the planet and his worshippers are about the same, except they don't have the money and just look weird for idolizing a billionaire who doesn't give a one iota about them. And it's clear that Musk is just simping here for a Nobel Peace Prize and/or trying to capitalize on current events (for those who might not know, the Nobel Prizes are currently being awarded).

Very highly doubt he cares about that award.

Whaaaa, Elon Musk is really, really bad at diplomacy, reading the proverbial room and keeping his damn mouth shut?

Suggesting Ukraine to remain neutral in any capacity despite the facts that it's been their borders that have been forcefully violated by an aggressive country and their citizens being the (continued) victims of genocide and wanton destruction is not only pure idiocy, it's also amazingly cold-hearted.

A lot has been trumpeted about US HIMARS and the equivalent systems from Germany and Poland being sent to Ukraine, but now even the regular Howitzers are getting long range precision GPS guided munitions.
Grim.

In what way? Precision weapons exist for humanitarian reasons. The limit collateral damage and deter the use of civilian shields. Unless one wants to take the stance that war is never acceptable/just, more guided weapons should be viewed as a good thing.
Just grim on a human level, I don't agree with Putin's ego driven want for a legacy.

Some of the developers of Stalker 2 are fighting on the front.

Such a shame as I was looking forward to the game as ite planning on getting released in 2023.

Still dont think it will happen but its all fine by me because their lives and their families along with friends is much more important along with their safety. At such a time its best to forget about videogames. If they cancel stalker 2 its all fine by everybody due to the situation they are in.

They had worked on the game when Russia was shelling and missile attacking Kiev some of the Developers also lost contact with their families also some of their pets got killed.

Such a ****** situation.

Another p... er brick in the wall. He also has the right idea regarding Trump too. Shame he can't see the aggressor in this conflict.

I was talking to a buddy about this kind of thing a while ago, and it basically boiled down to technology having evolved to a point where a single guided bomb/shell/missile can do basically the same thing as a large bomber formation during WWII, but with much greater precision on the intended target, and (ideally) little-to-no civilian casualties or unnecessary destruction of property.

It's also the kind of thing that makes Russia's attacks on Ukranian civilian complexes even more damning.

At least he's on the right side RE Iran?

He's normally on the right side on most humanitarian and human rights issues, but on this one, he's 100% wrong and gets rightly called out for it.

Use it as a good measure of people you know in regard to if they fall into a cult of personality.

Roger Waters has always been anti-war beyond the point of caring the circumstances that caused it. He's like the prototypical Twitter Zoomer when talking about it.

Even in that interview, his point about Israel isn't what I'd say is a terrible comparison; but being part of the larger interview where he's arguing that Ukraine should just give Russia whatever it wants to stop bloodshed it probably will fall on deaf ears.

Russia is currently firing missiles into residential buildings in parts of Ukraine that it has "formally" annexed i.e. Putin and the Russian military are deliberately murdering innocent people in regions that Russia formally recognises as being part of itself. Madness.
