Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO (PS4/XB1/PC) - Milestone

So is this coming out in the US? Seems unclear, hard to find a confirmation, even the official website doesn't have the US on the pre-order list. :(

It's on both US and Canadian Amazon.
Thanks, I didn't think to check there. I see that it says March 31 release date, so I guess North America is just getting it a little later than everyone else. With DiRT Rally out less than a week after on consoles April 5, it will be hard to justify buying both. Guess we'll see which is better.

I spy Impreza WRC2003

Very neat little feature is the paddock area where the car is pictured in the main menu, which you can free drive around via the "Test Drive" option.

If this does not release to the USA until March (not that the USA market is as big for rally) it will be almost directly competing with Dirt Rally that is said to release on console in April. Should be interesting.

Exactly. Not that Amazon is an official source or anything. I wish they would release this earlier, alongside the rest of the world launch so it doesn't conflict with Dirt Rally.

Really I just want a rally game as soon as possible.

I like the new look of the night ice rally, (probably Monte Carlo) on the Team VVV vid - well, in truth it all looks good.

I'm sure it won't compete 100% with CM's Dirt Rally but I think from the look of things, they will do well with this one 👍

This was a day one purchase for me until Dirt rally got a release date on consoles now i think i will wait until i am bored of Dirt rally before i pick this up.

Always said code masters had a good game underneath all that Ken block x games stuff, just not enough rally content, now seeing the route they have taken with Dirt Rally, there is only one option for my first rally game this gen.

The Team VVV videos are certainly promising....

Nothing wrong with multiple rally games, if they each bring something to the table. Milestone look to have managed to secure more licenses than Codemasters, and assuming there's little overlap between stages (they both digitized real rally stages after all) I see nothing wrong with owning both.

I am wondering if Milestone will be able to get the PC version up to the same quality level as the console versions (which are undoubtedly the main focus). I'd be happy enough with the PS4 edition despite 30fps (Driveclub proved you can do 30fps without latency issues fine), but if the PC version is able to hit 60fps and isn't full of bugs I may well get that instead.

I've never bought a Milestone rally sim (WRC 1-4 demos and reviews scared me off), so what are the thoughts on their ability to deliver bug free on the PC versus consoles?

Edit: Forgot to say that Codemasters in the Redbull interview this week stated they are aiming at 60fps for DiRT Rally on consoles....

I have WRC 3 and 4 for PS3. I think they're pretty decent games driving-wise. I like them better than DiRT 3 in any case. I'm really looking forward to getting WRC 5, Sebastian Loeb Rally, and DiRT Rally for PS4. I'm waiting for all their prices to drop to at least $30 Canadian before buying though.

Unfortunately I feel like Milestone missed an opportunity by not releasing the game at the same time as WRC 5. I have been looking forward to it, but there's no way it will compete with Dirt Rally from what I have seen so far.

Im just hoping they don't just release it then abandon it like they did with ride.

Milestone are known for not updating their games much after release so don't hold your breath.

Seems what's on offer on release is plenty of content so as long as it's a good launch with no bugs there shouldn't be much to worry about :)
