If you choose to park it (in the pits preferably, not on track somewhere but I get it if you do), and wait out the race then you rid your self of your ballast. I believe SkengD did this as a technique to take a strong finish in the next upcoming race from Season 1 if I recall correctly?,. If you drop or rage quit then you are stuck with your ballast for the next round. Don't get frustrated is the ultimate goal here. Since we are racing bi weekly I made the races worth the wait length wise. I keep us with in 1hr 15min to 1hr 30mins in distance roughly. I've personally been way off pace and still sit 3rd in the Championship I believe thru sticking it out. That's how I finish so well in all my Championships; you got to look at the big picture. But you are veteran and kno this already, I'm just on a rant now Thankz 4 Listining👍So if you dnf you lose ballast according to the position you were in?
