@joetruckv8

What car do you have me down for?

I have you down for Team Xanavi Nismo GTR, for the last 2 Rds. I had Jross down as your team-mate for Rd1; which your Team Xanavi Nismo GTR received full points for on the main page now that the spread sheets are now updated. Also this is a screen shot of the replay I used in case there is a mishap with the drivers placing & points?,.

Round 1

Round 2

*I went thru the tapes vigorously lap by lap to get the final results; I didn't just trust this replay timing sheet for what it was worth at the end here*

So if Racefan is in GTR and Bazzer quits and Callum doesn't then there is a Xanavi and Yellowhat open. Both Denso Lexus's are open and if timeee and Maynard don't race then both Weiders and a Raybrig HSV are open. Which is 7 spots. Can anyone else verify this?

Man, GTR is a straight line monster. Whoever picks that up is lucky. At least when seth and i tested with his preferred downforce levels. The sc seems to turn in better though imo.

I think 1120 would make it purely equal on pace, but given oz's testing on dropoff im going to say 1140 to counteract the car being better on glitched tires

On a side note about the glitched tires on the HSV. I voted for 1120kg because the medium tires were the bigger issue and since we're going to softs only because of the replay issues I think the cars will be better balanced. If you look at glitched softs the Lexus did 18.8 GTR 19.2 and I'm guessing HSV will be 19.0 area with 20 less kg.

Your testing showed that the hsv had less of a dropoff between glitched and not glitched for both mediums and softs?

GTR Softs 1:16.9 1:19.2 +2.3
Mediums 1:18.5 1:20.8 +2.3

HSV Softs 1:17.5 1:19.2 +1.7
Mediums 1:18.6 1:20.3 +1.7

Lexus Softs 1:16.7 18.8 +2.1
Mediums 1:17.7 1:19.7 +2.0
Isn't this saying the hsv loses 1.7 seconds per lap, while the other two lose 2.1 and 2.3 seconds per lap?

Thats what I read in this, so to me it seems the hsv while slower on a single lap, over the race it will come out equal?

Thats why I said hsv at 1140, but once the tire glitch is taken care of it should be dropped to 1120

Yes your right it has less drop off but if you just look at the soft normal and glitched times it is a little too slow. So I'm thinking if you drop 20kg then it will run low 17's on normal and high 18's low 19's on glitched. With that being said the GTR and Lexus should pull a gap on normal tires and the HSV would then have the potential to real them in on glitched tires. At 1140kg the HSV runs the same 19.2 as GTR so there's no catching up. It's a little complicated and I'm not 100% sure that's how it will work but do you understand what I'm saying?

To me the cars are plenty close enough, and as it should be it will come down to driving skill, set-up & race strategy.

the topic of conversation should be guys coming through from mid-back of the grid on the first lap of a 40 or 50 lap race and wrecking everyone's race right at the start! Who does that in a long race! Since this is race simulation, real life like race craft should be employed and drivers should be asked to keep it clean and fair, and back off/hold line when high risk passing means wrecking. there are times when it is unavoidable and a "racing incident" and times when it is ignorance and is unacceptable.

Okay yes I see that, but if you take weight off it will go faster, maybe either take only 10kg off? Or run it another round I do like what time said

Ok guys lots to report and answers plus HSV poll update coming up so look out for my post tonight when I get home and finished with my 4hr Apricot Hill test session. When it comes to chassis the only ones that are available for sure are the guys whom stated they are leaving. All others I can't fill there seats until I see who actually doesn't show up for the next round. Tempers may die down by next week so who really knows who's staying or leaving. I haven't seen or heard from Zach so as of now, now that I know I'm managing everything solely (because before he was doing the spreadsheets) I will have our op managed & running perfectly from here in out. As of now report to me any incident reports, or anything else you guys would of pm'ed Zach's about. Also As of now I have no idea if Zach is still with us or off somewhere else or even starting his own series. If he is starting his own series more power to him, he was a big help for the last 3 seasons, and if this 1 flops ill even like to sign up and just be a driver for once, but as of now I have enough experience to run this series on my own as long as now I know that's the program. I had not known before so that's why the op was somewhat out dated. Now that I know what's going on I will have this series running at its best, with a full democracy government for any topics that tips the scales of our series. 👍

zach doesn't want to be involved anymore
He doesn't enjoy it anymore
He's fed up of the reluctance for change to improve and He's not good enough to win
I've paraphrased slightly but I share many of his reasons

What reluctance for change to improve ?

You guys had polls for everything so there were always changes and every week there was a discussion for something to be changed.

Its one thing if you dont feel like racing anymore , thats everyones choice to be made but dont bash the series .

I would just leave it alone from here on out, trust me I got this 1'
