Ok looks like full caution during lap 1 it is then. Trust me this will get more guys to complete races when they don't screwed off on lap 1.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st Lap Caution Procedure - Single file restart, race to the start/finish line to determine caution period grid order then slow down until the back of the grid catches up. Caution speed is 88mph, but if the drivers on the track map are not getting caught up then the front runners should slow up the pack down to 66mph if not slower to pack the grid up by the end of lap 2. If the grid is tight by end of lap 1 we go green right away, if the grid is not tight by the completion of lap 1 going into lap 2; then we will have to complete 2 caution laps at the most then take the green flag on lap 3.

I think once everyone understands the caution period, we can call the caution and get back to green by Lap 2 if collision is in sector 1 or 2, or lap 3 if the incident happens in sector 3.

Also once the last car of the grid passes the start/finish line then that's it; no more caution option after that. I got a good feeling the guys racing now will be able to pull this off cleanly. If pro drivers can do it irl, we can do it virtually' 👍

So when 2 drivers type caution we don't slow down until the start line on the 1st lap right? Then we go when leader crosses start line on lap 2 if everyone is together?

Right 👍

-Tyson & I are going to run a full race (52laps) simulation tire test run tomorrow morning 10am Pst | 4pm Gmt if anyone wants to join? We figure for the most part at this point everyone should have a decent setup by now, and after a full run test (which exploits more tuning usually) then maybe 1 more setting here & there before the room opens up for the official Rd 3 @ 3pm Pst | 11pm Gmt

Caution Period Explained
Caution Period Rule: IF there is a collision, WITHIN THE FIRST 3 to 4 sectors of the first lap, then If 2 drivers type caution (ONLY!) then the whole field will slow down to 66mph/41kph to 88mph/54kph depending o the speed of the pack until the pack of drivers catches up tightly enough to the rest of the grid. Then we will do the rolling start to take the green flag the very next lap. If the drivers dont catch up by the end of the 1st caution lap, then we will proceed 1 more additional lap to give the field a chance to catch up properly but they need to type caution again. This time only it can be only 1 driver to type caution if he gets left behind. When the 1st place driver crosses the start/finish line we are green again from a single file restart, but I advise the leader of the caution pack to check their track map to make sure the drivers are all bunched up nice and tightly before he reaches the start/finish line,.

I think you got the mph/kmh backwards, right?

Yea you are right, I used an pp but looks like I needed to switch their sides. 👍
Will there be some night racing tonight?
Yea I'm expecting it to be. Originally we had 16 sign ups, and 4 drivers backed out, and then we signed up 2 to 3 more new drivers, so I'm expecting at least 10 drivers tonight out of the current 12 or 13 sign ups that we have now.

There have been a coupe of times this year were I assumed drivers were not going to show and every time there were atleast 7 to 13 drivers ready to race so with that being said I got super prepared for this round, and I can speak for Tyson too; he did the same with me. Also we are about to open a room for another tire testing session around Apricot Hill in about a hour or so from now

TnT-2000 & JoetruckV8 - are setting up race room now (Friends Only Room) New guys if you haven't already sent me your FR's do so now so you can get in?!,.

Lol, all I know is I like my Hsv! 👍 It drives like a GT F1 car. Btw I will be updating points and spreadsheets tomorrow night when I get home,.

I know we only had 8 drivers this week but we have at least 10 good sign ups and most series in irl racing per division have roughly the same per class when they compete so we are good to go. Now that the series op doesn't have so much drama anymore I'm sure it will take off from here.

March 10th 1.05 Update

Polyphony Digital has just released the latest software update for Gran Turismo 6, after an online service maintenance period. Unfortunately, the update does not immediately introduce any significant new content, as many expected after a new track was teased for the game back in January.

It does, however, introduce multi-monitor support, which will no doubt be a very welcome feature for players with triple-screen setups.

Here’s the official list of changes in v1.05, which weighs in at 100MB in size. As always, keep an eye on our GT6 forum as our community explores and discovers more undocumented tweaks.

Additional Features in Open Lobby

  • [Time Trial], [Drift Trial], and [Free Run] have been added to the [Race Type] option within [Room Settings] of the Event Settings screen.
  • It is now possible to also [Filter by Performance] even when [Car Selection Method] is set to [Filter by Make] or [Filter by Category].
  • It is now possible to select Karts in one make races held on weather enabled tracks.
  • It is now possible to check regulation settings in the confirmation popup dialog before entering a room.
  • In the [Race Alone] mode for the Qualifier, cars other than yours (when only spectating, cars other than the one in focus) will appear as lines.
Multi-monitor Compatibility

  • [Multi-Monitor Settings] has been added to the [Start Button]>[Options]>[Display] options.
Car Search

  • A [Car Search] feature has been added to the [CARS] section in My Home. You can specify the desired parameters to search for a particular car in the Car Dealerships.
Sale of Racing Gear in Individual Colors

  • The sale of Racing Gear has been changed from full color sets to individual colors. Some of the pricing for racing gear have changed accordingly.
Kart Adjustments Options Expanded

  • [Traction Control] is now available to adjust in the [Driving Options]. [Skid Recovery Force] is also now available.
  • [Brake Balance] is now available to adjust in [Machine Settings]. Only the rear can be adjusted in Normal Karts, while both the front and rear can be adjusted in Shifter Karts.
Other Improvements/Adjustments

  • An icon that shows the login bonus stage (1-5 days in succession) has been added to the top of the [My Home] screen and the prize receiving dialog.
  • The increments of the [Front/Rear Torque Split] in [Car Settings] has been changed from 5 to 1.

-Op Updated! 👍 We have 10 consistent drivers at this point whom completed either all 3 or 2 races since the start of the season,.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Team Championship sheet shows which team is in what position, but that particular spread sheet needs and advanced word excel user to sort the 1st place to last place guys in order so I will have my tech do that in the morning. At least we know who is in 1st, and who is in last place even-tho the order isn't in,.. well in order....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Team Championship Points are correctly edited now.
The driver Championship looks over already unless Oz comes and steals it back, but the fight for Manufactures Title is still alive and that determines where the final round will be held at for double points!!!

I cant believe my tires seriously lasted a full tank of gas driving around Silverstone. Let's see what the glitch tires produce next? <--- This last statement is some what of a joke :)

You're at podium pace right now would be my guess?,. I ran low 55's on my tire test tonight (FP1) but I know I need a setup here so after that I'm figuring I'll be around the 54's for sure, 53's at my best too...

TnT2000 was running 54's

I want to make this clear to everyone. You must have two wheels on the red and white curbing or rumble strips. Do not run outside of the curbing or rumble strips it is out of bounds. Last night Joe and I were practicing. There was another person with us who ran a low 1:53. I decided to see how this person was running. I watched this person run fast laps using out of bounds areas. This same person ran a 1:52.0 last night as I watched him use out of bounds to do it.
We have a two tire rule, please keep your tires in bounds. We will hand out penalties to anyone caught using the out of bounds areas to gain fast times.
Thank you,
Tyson

Seth running the xanavi from now on ok?
Ok but no switching back & forth plz, either other drivers might do it too, and/or it screws up the Team Championship Points and that determines our final round worth double points, so that's very important to me! 👍

He has no intention to switch back. He made a setup change to it a couple weeks ago and ruined it. Was super slow at Apricot because of that and he ran to 502hp without oil changing. I think he was down on some good torque without it? But thanks.

I also butchered my Lexus before brands hatch but feel I got a good tune now. Pretty much stock everything but ride height, LSD, and tranny. I can send my tune over maybe it'll help, but if he really wants to switch it's no big deal.

Thank you for pointing out the rumble strips TNT. Almost everyone goes over them on the sweepers before the S section and before the last chicane. Also joe I don't really understand the team championship. There's like 4 Calsonics and if Jross is still with us it says he's in the Xanavi. Am I reading it wrong?
