Doing some laps at brands 1:20.2xx without set up.
Any other times yet?
I must just butcher the car with my setup. Went back to stock, just lowered it a bit, shortened tranny, and set LSD to 10/12/20 or something like that did a few laps and down to 18.3 on softs! 👍

How many laps in total would you say you've completed up to this point?

Gheak - Receives 1st Lap Policy Strike

Couple of things.

First shouldn't oz get 28pts? 26 for 2nd plus 1 for fastest lap plus 1 for pole?

Secondly it says Ghaek gets first lap policy strike... What is this?

The problem with Ghaek was he could only see 5 of the 14 people but nothing was said til after the race. Why nothing was said during qualifying doesn't make much sense but it caused at least 3 accidents during the race including the first one.

I remember someone saying ghaek could only see a certain amount of people but nobody did or said anything else about it,

The lag policy strike was your rule that you created on the main page.

He did say he could see every one before I Dced which was minuted before qualifying.
And I do know there was some one else there who joined after me and ghaek that caused me to lose connection I don't know but it was fine and perfectly smooth leading up to the event

Baz has an interesting idea.

As the tyres a glitched. And unfairly penalise differ chassis by different amounts in the second stint. We could instead run with tyre wear turned off. But keep the 8lap rule. Still pitstops but no tyre bug

Joe just wandering for ghaek lag strike was it voted by the stewards like mine was last season or the gt300 season.
I'm just saying this as I had connection issues but it was a few rounds before it was voted on by the stewards, and I feel this is unfair on ghaek as we had new drivers and it's only the first round

Id protest this

I mean we have only raced 1 race so far

The gtr was 1 sec faster before 1st pit stop and then slower after the pit stop

Are you aware that you would have to re spec the cars if you use tire wear off

I specced the cars with wear off. So no the cars wouldn't need to be respecced.

It's pretty clear from replay HSV loses less time.

We can run brands as normal, and see what happens. But if it's similiar with the HSV losing less, then either something is done or I'm withdrawing. No point racing when cars lose disproportionate amounts of time after pitstops.

If the HSV has a massive advantage after the pits and it isn't sorted out I'm not racing. I can just about keep in the mix time wise will most people except Oz, Skeng and Cal. So me losing anymore time through no fault of my own will take away my fun and render it pointless competing.

Edit- Zack I meant no pitstops lol. I don't know if pitting with no tyre wear affects lap times, will have to check it out later.

That's unfortunate Will. You are a great guy and more than welcome to come back.

I'll hopefully see you on other games :)

And that could work too baz. Haha I was just developing your idea. But yeah anything that works will do

I agree with skeng, lets see what happens, I don't really like the idea of no pit stops.

If the cars were reged with tire wear off that's a problem. We race with tire wear on and cars are up to 1.5 seconds faster with tire wear off and have A LOT more grip. This could be why the HSV is so much slower with an extra 40kg since it was reged with tire wear off.

As far as the HSV and the tire glitch there's not a lot you can do. Either ban HSV, add more weight, run no pit stops or run tire wear off. I understand pit stratagey but there's no stratagey in the world that will make up the amount of time other cars lose on glitch tires.

I agree it's definitely not anyone's fault in the series it's just a pathetic glitch that hasn't been fixed.

I would suggest running a one make no tuning or one make tuning series.

So its the same for everyone more or less.

Its not our fault or the organizers fault , the game just isnt ready yet
Theres no variety in that. Other series are doing that, anyway. I think ballast will keep things close. It has in 90's fia. Some mid engined cars arent as suspect to the glitch as the FR's. But strategy and consistency is still the best way to win.

So that's just a little better than GTR. It seems the Lexus is in between the HSV and GTR for every stat imaginable.
