Best laptime is a 1.28.2 and my best race time is 23.17, I can trim race time via consistency but I'm just not hitting those super quick laps you're doing.
Consistency is much more important than one single fast lap, in my best run i have a best lap of 1:27.0 and i normally easy drive 1:26 times down to 1:26.5

Yea, alot of my attempts are derailed by the AI drivers doing absolute moron stuff. But I think I'll just need to do laps to try and eke this time down. I think if I can get the time down and then do it consistently it'll translate to faster race times.

I would love if you could put a fast lap on youtube so I can slow it down just to see your braking points, turning points and brake application easier. I know Datsun has his fast run on YT, but that's from the old physics so it's no longer applicable.

I want to improve to around a 22:25 and that run i could upload to yt. I just need the time to test some things and do some runs.
I have fast laps and other runs uploaded to my profile aswell, its not that different

Yea, that's where I saw your WR run but the GT7 video player lacks the slow motion thing you can do on YT. Or at least I've not found a way to do it.

It's been a while. I'm able to win this on hard mode ust about every Group 1, Group X, or Group C car. I've also used several with engine swaps.
My most common wins here are with the F1500. The car sits as low as possible, runs RH tires, and gearing is around 300.
The biggest thing is to watch your turn in on both chicanes. Make sure you're finishing the first half of each on the inside curb. Also you can use the blue area off to the right of T1.

Finally under 22:30 again. Still room for improvement as I only did a 1:27.2. PB is a 1:26.5. The first lap was great tho with a 1:29.4.

OG spotted. I would love for you guys to revive this thread.

I usually go ABS weak. Any thoughts on the difference in ABS settings?

I meed to get back into the groove, my last run was well into the 23's.

I've heard the 787B os the go to car mow. Anyone got a setup for the R92 that may still be fast? Ever since the PP recalculations, I feel like my old tune is garbage now, especially having to run Hards.

As a rough calculation to achieve 22:36 all 12 of your uninterrupted fast laps need to be faster then a 1:28 which puts @Grubem 22:29 needing less then 1:27.5 lap times for 12 laps which is really impressive and then his goal for a 22:25 needing 1:27:0 over 12 laps which is insane to comprehend when also having to deal with the AI in the way.

My best first lap is a 1:29.2, box in 1:58,3 and boy out 1:29.5. And every other lap should be in the 1:27 mid - low. Thats hard because of the ai.
