SCANA | WEEK 2 | The Samsung 250

I started the race right behind timber. He timed out crossing the start line so his car didn't speed up with you guys. By the time I realized what happened and darted around him the pack was gone so I started the race by myself.

I figured no problem I'll use pit strategy. It could have paid off for a few positions but a caution came out and blew my strategy up lol.

Then I was racing for position with Welda but at the next caution he was given a lap back so then I was by myself again.

Oh well good race guys!

I had a great time with this race. During the 3 lap shootout we had at the end I was drafting extremely close to Joe going into turn 3, then bam, lag spike and my engine and both front tires were gone which gave away any chance I had at placing top 5. With this incident aside I had a lot of fun and those 101 laps flew by. I can't wait to get out there next week, I am already practicing on the next track. I wish that I was able to do the tire test for HSR because I do not know what a fast lap is at that place. Any feedback on this? Thanks.

Yeah I got disconnected right at the green flag sephy.Didnt have time to reset my router this time before the race. When the pace lap was done and nobody on my screen gunned it, I knew what the deal was.

My victory was all down to a mix of lag and blind luck.

Bullsheit. You ended up right where you belonged, cautions and lucky dogs be damned.

Great race, Joe. When at the halfway point we exited the pits exactly together, I chuckled. I knew at that point we had exactly the same amount of gas and were on the exact same page.

I learned a lot for the next race there. I messed up big on my pit strategy and well the whole race. It was only the cautions that allowed me to be 3rd.

I may loose .100-,200 per lap on them. The only mistake was not running as hard as I could.

I'll be smarter next time.

Well, I was mainly referring to the end of the race where I got shuffled back down to 7th and somehow got back to the front in 2 laps to win it at the line.

As for us pitting etc, I started with my "take a certain number of litres every stop (I'm not telling :sly: )" strategy, but changed it so I would come out from the pits with you.

That's funny, cause I changed mine to come out with you... lol
