Thanks for posting :) It's always a treat watching Mr. Rohrl's car control skills, especially in a Porsche

So awesome...counter steering on straights and full left counter steer on a right turn? I love watching the pro's drive Porsches around the Nurb'. I think I'd crap myself if I was in the passenger seat with him though.

That could be one of their rules:

"If you drive with a passanger, and he/she isn't crapping it's pants at the end of the first lap, you ain't going fast enough".

Holy ****! I believe is the appropriate thing to say.

Looks like a Rally stage that uses part of the 'ring for it. the first minute or so is definitely NOT the Ring.

Agreed.

I must say, I just love the sound of those old Porsche boxer engines. Nice lap to boot.

Thanks for posting. 👍

Looks a lot like parts of the GTR2/GTL/rFactor track Nuerburg Village (don't know if that's based on reality or not though).

Excellent video, thanks for uploading! Rohrl is a true legend, and I love classic Porsches. I've watched it from start to finish three times since this morning and am just about to stick it on for the fourth.

It's a classic rally he's entered in, I've got the full in car rally on my PC and it runs most of the ring backwards as part of one of the special stages.

He is a legend like, unbelievable car control. Thanks for the link.

Any way you could share this. Awesome. Watching videos like this make me so happy... weird. :dopey:

Alongside Fazination (Stefan Rosser in the RUF Yellowbird at the 'Ring) this is one of my all time favorite videos.

If you follow the original link at the top of this page you'll see there are some other stages form this rally posted on Youtube too. Some are much more like proper tarmac stages... narrow & bumpy.

Mr Rorhl is indeed a God!

Not sure, it's DVD rip so I'm not too happy about posting it on my friends website. I'll have a look at the other options.

Stotty, I bought Fazination from Ruf (on video!!) as a birthday present years ago for a friend of mine. Maybe, I shouldn't have said that, now I feel old.

Nothing to be ashamed of :)

And I feel old too... but that's because I am actually old

In my oppinion rallye driving is more difficult than F1 or so...

walter röhrl is great... but may I add Mr. Rallyecross Martin Schance?! He is one god in driving skills too...as far as I remember 5 times European Rallycross champ!
Just watch some videos on youtube....

Actually, Michael Schumacher in his prime could touch that. Dude drove his F1 cars on the edge every sunday.
