So, after 43 years passed since the story began with Lola T70 SI 771-32 then all the way to the P4/5 by Pininfarina and P4/5 Competizione, a new project of Mr. Jim Glickenhaus is taking shape. This car will be unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and take it to race at the 24H of Nurburgring, so this means that we'll have to wait until next year. But so far, the carbon-fiber chassis has been revealed and some several tweaks of the car. So who wants to see this LMP-inspired road and race car in GT6 or future GTs? If you want both, then vote now!

HALLELUJAH!!! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!

No, this will be a car to compete at 24H of Nurburgring in 2015.

Like the P 4/5, the SCG 003 will have a cockpit design with doors that cut into the roof, but other details revealed in the images include plenty of air ducts incorporated into the design, like the louvered front fender and another massive vent somewhere else on the car—possibly below the taillight, but it's hard to tell for sure. What we have to wait to see is the three-wing design that gives the SCG 003 its name, but the name also designates that this is the third car for SCG after the P 4/5 and P 4/5 Competizione.

As far as specs go, SCG still plans to utilize a carbon-fiber tub and a twin-turbo V6 to make it more of a low-weight track car rather than a high-power hypercar.

What NART512 meant is that this will be the road-legal LMP-inspired car, which means that we might see it on our roads.

I know what he means, but Glickenhaus is building this car to compete in 24H of Nurburgring in 2015.
Maybe that later a road version will come, but that's not his main project.
So we are technical speaking about a race and not a road car.

I thought that Glickenhaus is building both road car and race car

No not both, initially they are building a race car for Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus and then depending the race results a road car will follow.

Correct. LMP1 as GT3 for the Ring GTLM for Le Mans, Sebring and Daytona if we can sell enough cars to Homologate which we will try to do.

We started selling and remain hopeful. We will make road versions which we'll debut at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show. We will race the 2015 24 Hours of Nurburgring as well with our race version.

Best

Jim

Holy crap.

Say, Jim, why isn't your Pininfarina P4/5 or the race car version you took to Nurburg in Gran Turismo 6? Make that happen, please.

The road-going version of the SCG 003 is going to be officially unveiled in March at the Geneva Motor Show. It will have a twin-turbo V12.

The race version, the SCG 003 Competizione, will have the twin-turbo V6. Owners will have the option to convert from one spec to another, at an additional cost, with the conversion kit which will be shown at Geneva too.

I would love to see the older but still amazing P4/5 Competizione in GT7.

The exact day they'll show this though? Guess it'll be a while before anyone "nose"

A bit of a mix of the Ferrari Enzo, Gumpert Apollo... And even a little GT by Citroen? Whatever, it looks the part. The question now is, when's the Road-Car version with a VW-Sourced W12 going to be shown? (As the Racing model in this thread is supposedly powered by a Honda-Based 3.5 Liter, Twin-Turbocharged V6.)

The SCG 003 models look spectacular. Is the road-car (003S) as pretty as I'd hoped it would be? No, not quite but it is pretty cool though. I think it makes a better looking racecar (003C) than it does a road-car (003S).

Yes, you'll need to pick one of the two. Not to worry - you can easily make another thread for the other one...

I have an idea! I'll make a thread for the SCG003S
(road car), while someone has to suggest the SCG003C (race car). Maybe Starlight should suggest the SCG003C, since one of his suggestions are very informative and has loads of Pictures. Your welcome Starlight. This is my gift for you. (if it's your birthday today or this week or even this month....). So I'll make a separate thread for the scg003s ROAD CAR THEN.

There's not really any need for that - this thread is fine as it is, so long as it's refined to one or the other. It already has "Likes" associated to it, so abandoning it doesn't make that much sense.

So, this would stay now instead? If so, then okay! I was about to do it, but as you've replied, thanks for reminding me!
