Mine is not a hatchback and not Japanese but weighs less than 1000kg...

And isn't it the biggest waste of a 7-speed gearbox on Rudolph? It'll spend more time changing gear than actually accelerating :P

I have a seven speed Vitz to test but I don't want to have to break it in and then not use it.

Make/Model - Eagle Talon ESI '97
Max Power - 175 BHP
Weight - 1252 kg
PP - 380

Settings & parts list can be found Here.

Hmmmm...Where´s the Challenge doing this in this Seasonal ? Isn´t it better to do this in a normal Time Trial without the crappy A.I.?

Yep, but we're bored, and you can win alot of credits and prizes ... no harm there right? :dopey:

If you are bored , you should go far lower with the PP (around 350 or so) and use Comfort tyres (softs or meds). With this configuration you can get alot more Credits too. ;)

funny you should say this, cause just as i was browsing youtube, this random video appeared from a guy winning this new seasonal event with a 280pp car

Yes, I suppose, but my driving is poor, and we're just trying to have a little fun, if you don't have fun playing a game, you're doing it wrong :dopey:

It's amazing how he manages first place on lap 4. Leaves lots of room for the older Prius to do it with even less PP. :D

I think 380PP works for this shootout since we're not allowing power limiters. 350PP would lock out too many cars.

@Krenkme...Fun is a relative thing. If you have fun killing the Opposition by around 40 seconds , so be it.I´m sorry , but this isn´t my cup of tea , I rather like a good Challenge.

@VTiRoj...I have found at least 35 cars below 350 PP ;)

Hey, I get it. To each there own. This is just a bunch of people gathered together, talking about tuning and GT5, enjoying the game, and the seasonal. If you, or anyone, finds enjoyment in the game in other ways, please share so we can enjoy it in as many ways as possible. Just trying to have fun is all. :dopey:

Wait am I missing something here? I thought we were tuning the cars to 380pp to compete against each other for the best time.

Yeah there are lots of cars under 350PP, but a lot more under 380PP. :P I don't mind switching to 350PP though, but it's up to krenkme.

We are but everyone is using the seasonal events as their testing grounds because it pays out mad cash. :D

@GeeBaby...No , you don´t miss something , it´s still 380 PP. :)

Edit:
btw bonestock 350 PP car on CS tyres a 2:04.2xx laptime

No switch, 380pp is good, you can add 350pp if you want but 380 is perfect because there are some cars that you would not expect that makes the cut at 380pp. 350 will be all small cars but I am in regardless of what you guys decide.

bought a used VW GOLF 1 GTI '76 (351pp), no oil change, sports hard, no ABS, won the cape ring race by +0.047! -> recommend trying out the old Golf GTI

What is it, a Mazda Atenza? :P

VTiRoj
Yep. After breaking it in I don't think I'll be able to add anything more than an air filter.

I did the Atenza thing at 400 and it was quite good, if unable to hold a candle to the MR2s. Should be good.

I'm going through some of the rejects from that shootout now but pretty sure I've already got mine picked. :D

All I could add to my Atenza was an air filter after all. Currently doing 58's with it, should be good for 57's in my hands and 56's in the hands of someone who's fast.

I haven't done testing yet, but I have like 6 cars ready at 380PP already (I still haven't done the seasonal but also kinda wanna empty my wallet cause I didn't do the last seasonals either, only did the Super GT one yesterday). 2 of them are pretty much joke characters and one here has already been posted, though the other three are srsbsns.

They're also not that close to the starting limit because I'm not a fan of taking a car close to the limit and doing very little to it then just jacking up the other parts. If you wanna do that, might as well leave them stock...though I might make one exception to this if I can find the right car.
