Now now good looks mean nothing without good sounds

Unless you're from the Photomode section in which case you don't give a single damn.

"Later this week"

...

Does anyone have any good reason why they couldn't release the content late in that region where they (oddly, I might add) couldn't release the content..?

Like, I don't really care if Zimbabwe doesn't get the content, for example. GT Academy didn't come to Canada for years and years, why should this be any different?

Because they're celebrating Senna's career, they probably want everyone to be able to share the experience at the same time. I can understand where they're going with this, but I would have rather got the Senna content today.

Still, I can wait. I have school to keep me busy.

Can see this happening too.
Update this week. (nope)
Update next week (yup) with 1.08 stuff (June)

I mean, I find it irresponsible to give a launch date without even having licensing in order.

I won't say for certain, that this is the scenario, but... It's kinda odd; "We will release this thing which is illegal (see also: laws differ in various countries) on this date."

..... When you say it like that, it sounds completely ridiculous.

^^ Not saying this is the case, but when asked about it by Jordan they couldn't just admit that they weren't able to finish it in time so it sounds more professional if you bring up 'licensing issues' as nobody understands the complexities anyway.

But that's just my tin foil hat talking ;)

To their credit, they probably didn't foresee this happening, though it was irresponsible stating a release date without knowing 100% that they could release the content on that day.

It seems that Friday is DLC day now. Looking forward to Friday now I guess. It's not surprising that the date has slipped to be honest it's just embarrassing for Sony / PD at this stage. There is always an excuse and they didn't have the decency to update us officially.

The videos look good though.

Maybe someone's thrown something in at the last minute to grab some cash, or it could be someone thinks they've a legitimate claim to some aspect of the license, or something is not within the scope of the license, and they've only just found out about since it's really not a big deal to a lot of people...

.. I'm just highlighting that there are many possibilities.

Maybe they were on GTP and saw someone whining that the Toleman was in the video, and not in the game, so they held it back to change the video

I thought we were going to get an old, more accurate version of Monza for this DLC? I can't remember if that was just a rumor? But the Lotus photos all seem to be taken on the normal weather change Monza track we have in-game now.

Also, is the 97T really driving the Monza chicane backwards on this photo?

That is the 80s layout... With 201x barriers

Oh, PD, you guys make me laugh.

Edit: But, so does Famine.

Yes. Vividly. My point exactly.

I'm all for seeing new tracks, and I'm still excited, but it's kind of hard to be immersed in the 80s with signs and barriers from modern day.

It also shows, in my opinion, a huge lack of effort, especially for something Kaz supposedly cares about, when communities and miniscule dev teams, all with far inferior budgets and equipment to work with, are able to replicate old versions of tracks very well and with great detail.

...Or a higher workload? I think PD is planning something big, and just overworking themselves.

Either way, though, I'm not liking where this is headed anymore than anyone else. Why is seemingly everything delayed?

I am not saying this is the case, but, 👍!

I want to play this song when driving the Lotus 97T. :D
I want that one:

every single brazilian knows this cheesy tune, since the days of our first triple world champion: Piquet... after all this years, this song still give me chills

btw, this song is so powerful for us, that even the first victory of Barrichello in F1 was overshadowed by the chance of hear the 'Theme of Victory' again

It'd be like watching Back to the Future with a Prius... :odd:
I did same thing back to GT4 day before. That's feel like strange to other games with classic track could drive around with modern and future cars.
