I want that one:

every single brazilian knows this cheesy tune, since the days of our first triple world champion: Piquet... after all this years, this song still give me chills

btw, this song is so powerful for us, that even the first victory of Barrichello in F1 was overshadowed by the chance of hear the 'Theme of Victory' again

And how about the first time it was played for Senna? :)

And his first championship, another great moment.

I always love that camera shot of him sitting up from the cockpit and pumping his fist while turning his body and staring into the camera. Almost identical to what he did after his first win as well. Both fantastic moments

We should have Estoril track! Is such a great piece of asphalt!

After giving up waiting for this to be released on the 27th, I went to bed. Now it's the 28th here in Australia (9:50am to be exact) and I'm just reading that not only the content hasn't been released, but no one even knows when it will be. Yes I know they told us it will be released before the end of May, but forgive me if I don't believe a word that PD says. Time and time again they betray our confidence and make us feel like we are the last thing on PD's mind, even though without us paying customers, they wouldn't exist! PD you just lost my faith... Forza 5 here we come!

It's just ridiculous how PD has managed themselves lately. I mean, for the past few years GT has been falling behind the curve and they've always had problems meeting release dates, but even just this year has been pathetic on their front so far. They announced they have several updates for each month planned and we're still missing a lot of content. Then there's the Zahara track that was to be released in February and now it is nearly June. We're told Senna content will be coming in May around the time the Senna remembrance weeken (~May 1) and then it gets announced it's May 27th, nearly when the month is over. And here we are on May 27 and no content and not even a timeline for its actual release. "By the end of the week" just isn't good enough at this point. It's a complete disaster.

And now we're suppose to believe the Vision GTI is coming out in "June." Surely that must be June 30th and then on that date we'll get the news at 8pm that it won't come until the following few weeks. Just atrocious communication and broken release dates by PD. I find it hard not to laugh like a maniac when you think back to whoever it was (from the US side of Sony, not even PD, but still an official representative) saying there were DLCs planned for each month with new cars and tracks. PD just can't keep up with modern times. They're in way over their heads and can't deliver anything properly.

I found a comment on the front page that I think many of the people calling "BS" on the Licensing issues need to read:

Sick Lenny
For those of you who have never had to deal with a legal issue (read LAWYERS) let me just tell you that all of your “taking care of this months ago” can fly out the window the second a lawyer changes his mind or raises a concern at the last minute.
The mainstream world of business (anymore) is dominated by the whims and worries of laywers and underwriters (insurance companies)
, and I suspect that many of the entitled whiners on here have yet to enter that world or still live in Mom’s basement.

If only the bloody, greedy FOM (an organization that should be banned) were not delaying the release of the content. I am really looking forward to playing the new content once it comes out. :D

I have no personal qualms with that statement but one tends to lose some cred when arguing while using broad sweeping terms like 'entitled whiners'. You won't win over the other side with that. "Mom's basement" that wasn't even called for.

I do agree the generalizing insults were abit much given he already made a solid point.

If there's licencing issues involved, it could take days or weeks for us to get the content possibly no?

It could, but apparently it just didn't clear in time or something. If they're still giving us till the end of the week, they must know something unless who ever is holding it up decides to be real picky.

Insult? I'd call it more an assumption and generalization... But not necessarily an insult. *is in mom's basement, starts new job tomorrow*

It is, however, entirely irrelevant. Whether someone lives in their parents' basement or not, doesn't mean that the game's any more or less complete. I've heard 50 year old people complain about the game, too. Because there are some areas which are seriously lacking.

This update was aimed squarely at some of those areas... And we're stuck waiting again.

Have fun buying most of the car list from Forza 4 $10 a time.

Which is completely worth it as they had to re-scan every single car and track to make the most of the new hardware's power and features. The same will happen with GT7 on the PS4, there will be less cars and tracks and everyone here will complain...

so basically the game is not even ready to come onto shelves I heard there was only 200 cars and very little tracks to chose from sounds like a demo then a full game

Let's charge $60 to buy our next game on a new console and take out over half of the cars from the previous, remodel them, then charge $10 a time to let people get them back.

Even though PD keeps having the worse track record ever, they done the following
A. Kept 99% of GT5's car list
B. Added GT5's DLC in GT6 to start with
C. Has added quite a few new cars for free

tbh, I'd deal with inconsistency than having to fork over $10 a time I want a new car cause they can't just put it in to start with.

In fairness the SSRX performance test mode is missing, but aside from that spot on. I'd also change that 99% to 99.9%

I very much doubt that is true. From my experience contracts(and sometimes the actual laws themselves) have a deadline till which the legal objections can actually be raised.
And while my experience is as anecdotal as the guy youre quoting, i think I am more likely to be correct judging by how large companies usually dont miss dates of game releases.

In the real world there's this thing called.....contracts. No you cannot change your mind just like that and no PD certainly did not start modelling the cars before having all legal work properly done, especially with the experience they got in GT5 with the Italian kart track.
