The point wasn't about the game being incomplete or not, it was about the people that are saying the Licensing issue is BS or calling it an excuse all the while, many of them don't exactly come off as people who would know anything about Licensing (at least judging off the terrible spelling and general ignorance, they don't to me)

I was one of those. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. But, I'm remaining blissfully skeptical about the true reasoning. I doubt even a lawyer would have the audacity to pull some stipulation out of his bottom at the last second..
That said, I've never dealt with lawyers, so................................... I'm possibly a bit inexperienced in that area. Yes, I'm 20. Yes, I'm serious. I live a calm life.

me personally im not fussed on when we get it just as long as we eventually get the update that's all I care about I had suspicions that this update would be late for some reason

I think one of the problems regarding the "release date" is sources that are thought to be trusted (PD, GT, PS3, Senna) appear to have different dates mentioned.. This one, states the 27th. Clearly that doesn't look too promising anymore with current reports.. The troubling thing is, this guy is driving the 97T!! I will say that I am excited the F3 car is also being released, that is a "perk" that I was unaware of until earlier today..

Also, yes, PD is failing at communication (once again). But they are also revealing (too late) that it has licensing issues and will be released a few days from the original date.
Still disappointed, you have serious problems, or you just didn't actually care at all.

I hate to say it, but this is why you don't do your homework the night before.
They said May, and then scheduled it for as far towards the end of May as possible.
Sometimes stuff goes wrong. It happens, that's what life is like. That's why clever people plan to give themselves a little leeway just in case. You think you can get that report done in 3 days? Tell the boss a week. If it all hits the fan, you have a couple days to scramble, if all goes to plan you look awesome for getting it done fast. Got a big project where something is almost certain to go wrong? Target having it finished well before deadline, so that you have time to deal with whatever comes to bite you in the bum.
PD painted themselves into a corner here. Maybe something legitimately went wrong, but they've got no one to blame but themselves for being in the position where they could be crippled by these sorts of things anyway. It's not like they have an otherwise stellar record either.
I suspect a lot of their troubles come from problems that could have happened to anyone, but PD hasn't given themselves a chance to catch them before anyone sees. Basically, poor planning.
