Ending seemed kinda... tasteless though. No mentioning of everything after his death, just... that.

The text on these slideshows are present in the game data.

All the text featured is most likely related to an extended slideshow that will feature in the game, so we can rule out the 99T, MP4/6 and the FW16 featuring :(

Extended version

SENNA_P_4_330...The 1994 season was Senna's 11th as a Formula One Driver. The one-time rookie had become a veteran, the weight of his experiences etched on his face....

SENNA_P_4_340...He was driving for Williams, the team that had won the previous two World Championships, and the team that had first given him the chance to try driving a Formula 1 car 12 years previously....

SENNA_P_4_350...A number of rule changes were announced for the 1994 season, banning high-tech equipment, and re-introducing mid-race refuelling. Williams introduced the FW16 car, which complied with these rules by not having active suspension or ABS..

SENNA_P_4_360...These changes increased the burden on the driver, and meant that cars were lighter as a result of having to carry less fuel. With Senna passing his physical peak, there was no doubt that the changes would put him at a disadvantage..

SENNA_P_4_370...The season opened in Brazil, where Senna claimed the 63rd pole position of his career. He would not finish the race, however, spinning off while trying to catch up with Schumacher, and being forced to retire.....

SENNA_P_4_380...The next race was the Pacific Grand Prix in Aida, Japan. It was the first time the track had been used as a Formula 1 circuit, but this did not trouble Senna, who grabbed another pole position....

SENNA_P_4_390...In the race itself, however, Schumacher got off to a perfect start, and Senna got involved in a multi-car pile-up at the first corner. His race was over almost before it had began.....

SENNA_P_4_400...As the season gradually unfolded, Senna continued to prove that he was the king of qualifying, while Schumacher had to have the upper hand in the races themselves. After just two races, Schumacher was 20 points ahead of Senna...

SENNA_P_4_410...Formula One's European debut that season was the San Marino grand prix. It was to prove a tragic event, with a series of accidents taking place from the very first day of qualifying...

SENNA_P_4_420...On Friday, the first day of qualifying, Senna's young compatriot Rubens Barichello was involved in a huge accident when his car hit a kerb and span around in mid-air...

SENNA_P_4_430...On the second day of qualifying, the Saturday, Roland Ratzenberger, who had just made his Formula One debut, failed to negotiate the Villeneuve curve, and crashed into a concrete wall. Tragically, he would not survive the accident..

SENNA_P_4_440...The remainder of qualifying was cancelled. Senna had already claimed his 65th pole, with Schumacher right behind him in second place on the grid....

SENNA_P_4_450...Senna had considered walking away from the race after the events of the previous day, but eventually changed his mind, and made his way onto the track..

SENNA_P_4_460...It was Sunday the first of May, 1994....

SENNA_P_4_470...The cars took part in a formation lap, then the race was started, only to be stopped again almost immediately after yet another accident....

SENNA_P_4_480...Pedro Lamy crashed into the back of J.J. Lehto's stalled Benetton, with pieces of debris from the cars flying into the crowd and injuring spectators. The safety car was introduced.....

SENNA_P_4_490...After driving five laps behind the safety car, the race was restarted. Senna got off to a flying start, leaving Schumacher in his wake..

SENNA_P_4_500...On the second lap, Senna was leading Schumacher going into the Tamburello corner, a high-speed left turn, when his car veered off the racing line, leaving the track....

SENNA_P_4_510...He would not be seen again..

SENNA_P_4_520...It was 2:17 pm. Time at Imola stood still.

SENNA_P_4_530...Despite reaching the very pinnacle of motor racing achievement, Senna never showed any interest in the gaudy and transient trappings of fame...

SENNA_P_4_540...Senna had always been a foreigner in the world of Formula 1. What is more, he always held his home country dear, along with all its problems..

SENNA_P_4_550...He once said in an interview: "Wealthy men can't live on an island that is encircled by poverty."..

SENNA_P_4_560...Nearly 200 million people live in Brazil, and most of them still live lives that are ravaged by crime and poverty...

SENNA_P_4_570...Children are particularly affected..

SENNA_P_4_580...For example, Brazil's infant mortality rate is several times higher than that of other developed nations, and there are millions of children without access to food or education....

SENNA_P_4_590...Senna said "We must give a chance to everyone - at least a basic chance", and took steps to put this idea into practice.....

SENNA_P_4_600...Two months before his accident, he had told his sister Viviane that he would like to do something to help the people of Brazil. The two agreed to discuss it the next time they spoke...

SENNA_P_4_610...They would never have a chance to speak again, but the initial discussion had planted a seed in the consciousness of Senna's family, and they decided to set up an institute in his name....

SENNA_P_4_620...This was to become the Ayrton Senna Institute, established in November 1994....

SENNA_P_4_630...The aim of the institute is to have as many children as possible learn skills required for living successfully in today's society. With the support of major corporations and global organisations, its name is becoming known all over the world...

SENNA_P_4_640...It provides textbooks for children who cannot go to school, and organises computer lessons to improve young people's chances of finding employment..

SENNA_P_4_650...With the support of the University of São Paulo, the Institute also gives athletically gifted children opportunities to display and develop their talents. These children are also provided with meals, transport and emotional support....

SENNA_P_4_660...Another key element of what the Institute does revolves around the cartoon character Senninha, based on Senna himself. Licensing fees for this popular character are used to support the work of the Ayrton Senna Institute.....

SENNA_P_4_670..."We want to give every child the same chances that Ayrton had." - Viviane Senna.

SENNA_P_4_680...Senna's legacy lives on in other ways, too..

SENNA_P_4_690...The GPDA (Grand Prix Drivers' Association) was re-established after his death, giving drivers a chance to make their views on race safety known.....

SENNA_P_4_700...The karting track at Interlagos has been renamed the Kartódromo Ayrton Senna in his honour.....

SENNA_P_4_710...The track itself itself has not changed, however, and remains exactly the same one on which he began his illustrious driving career.....

SENNA_P_4_720...From the tall grass that grows on the side of the track, one almost feels as if that young boy, driving for the pure, unadulterated joy of it in the kart his father made him, could come careering around the corner at any moment.....

SENNA_P_4_730...A huge grin of satisfaction on his face.

How can they skimp on the cars? It's an absolute disgrace :(

Just realized that PD clone stamped out the Tobacco sponsors everywhere, from the cars, tracks and suits.

"Team Lotus Special" ... PD accuracy at it's finest...

And "an accident happened" is all they have to say about Ratzenberger's death ? No respect was given that day...

I know we should be grateful by having 3 cars he drove plus two historic tracks yadda yadda yadda, but I can't help but feel that Turn10 or even Codemasters would make FAR better use of his image, despite whatever licensing arrangements are in place. We got two tracks that do not represent his best moments, but these two tracks are already in the game and needed minor changes to make it "new".

I'm really excited for this DLC, but I can't deny the fact that so much more could have been done with it.

No respect was given that day...
Can't say it better .. not from FIA, the F1 Owner and William Team
Everyone lied to not stop the F1 circus for the death of a young pilot or even one of the best pilot in F1 history
"Money money money "

and twenty years later, not really much respect too
it's really a shame they can't even use google to spell correctly one of the (again) best F1 pilot in F1 history
We will see the content but no doubts that it will be lame

I can't wait until all this gets added. I had hoped for another F1 to join the Lotus (be it Toleman, McLaren or even the 99T) but it seems it's not to be.

The 80's versions of tracks should be interesting, but I was hoping for at least Interlagos, or even the kart track as well.

It's still possible however they could come as DLC, although that is very wishful thinking!

uhm no mentions of friendship with Berger that took away a bit of that excessive sadness, no proper mention of barrichello and ratzenberger crashes, nor a word about senna having an Austrian flag in his cockpit to remember Ratzenberger. No mention about berger winning following race in an impossibly slow ferrari and dedicating it to his lost friend (he really won that race over his "nerves").

No mention of berger driving his car

Really, remembering Senna without his friendship with Berger or fights with Prost and Balestre (and the aforementioned things i wrote) makes him fell a bit of an unlucky, sad hollow guy, while instead he was passionated in all he did.

Much could have been done better, but some photos are real masterpieces.

concerning ALAN Prost, i think it might be some japanese translator fault...

I'm not too fussed about it all. To be honest I don't think GT is the right game to be celebrating Senna in the first place, and if, in order to do it right, it meant they shoveled more money in the direction of Formula 1 then, I'd actively be against it. Too many people get too funny about Senna, to do it 'right' they'd have to spend a lot of money and resources... to celebrate one open wheel driver. I won't complain about new tracks being added, that at least can appeal to this of us who don't really care for F1/Open wheelers, or worship Ayrton Senna so much. F1 games should celebrate Ayrton Senna, GT should celebrate cars.

IMHO all games should celebrate race drivers :)

That's fine if they're out an out racing games, that perhaps simulate the series of the driver in question, such as officially licensed games... but, to me at least, that's not what GT is about. And peoples dissatisfaction with the Senna content is only going to make this more apparent - though I would say, it seems like some people were expecting PD to knock out SENNA The Movie Part II.

What else could you want?

In not like Simraceway took also the McLaren car and did a documentary about the man, or promote his foundation to show the serious social problems in Brazil.

FFS so sick the PD bitching, they produce an actual documentary about the man (and here I'm wondering how many companies would be willing to do that, not even Codemasters bothered to write a BIO about the man and they are not bitch about it), they model and produce some of the cars they can get hold on and release them for FREE (yet people will never be fully satisfied), new tracks and cars, and events and such to bring more live to the game and people is ... disappointed to no end because ... whatever.

If they show the McLaren or other cars people would bitch for not having them in the game, if they don't show them because they can't have them in the game they will bitch regardless. Here I'm wondering what people would expect for a free update relating to Senna content, while the primordial goal of it was to give awareness of the Ayrton Senna institute and not promote it as a feature.

And before people get to flame me, I'm aware of the game's problems, but this kind of stupid 🤬 is what I don't get, but whatever, everyone is entitled to an opinion no matter how stupid it is.

Especially Turn 10. If you see their Top Gear contect vs GT5, you'll know.

Nah, in the slideshow. I understand in game, but they left in a couple in Part 1, but in Part 2, they're removed everywhere, just for a slide show too. It's weird.
Sorry, is that whenever I check to see if something is released or announced I have to get through dozens of pages of bitching to know what is going on.

Is really annoying.

This is what you see. What I see is a very small effort in order to sell some copies of GT6 on Senna name. Even the slideshows are very poor and omit tons of important stuff - first being the death of another driver refereed to as "an accident happened" You go ahead and be fine with it. Be fine with everything PD does. Not so hard when you demand no professionalism from them.

All you said is one big "LEAVE PD ALONE WEEWEEWEE"

The same as every model of these cars sold in countries with heavy tobacco censorship:

I mean, I know it's not like they'll be selling any copies of GT6 in Europe or Canada and all...

Once again, I know they can't have them in game without having a Teen Rating or something of that matter, but in the slideshow, every Tobacco sponsor in every picture is wiped off just about.

Has to be that way due to laws about tobacco advertising in motorsport. And games. And promotional material for either.

The missing Camel sponsorship on the Lotus 99T is pretty comical though

Exactly - you've just answered your own question.

"I know they can't have them in the game", hence "every tobacco sponsor in every picture is wiped off".

In the UK, large shops aren't allowed to advertise that they sell cigarettes, and they have to keep them hidden from view behind the counter. It is that strict in places.
