1.05 physics are helping a lot short base MR GR3 cars. They were almost undrivable driving at the limit.
Now my ferrari 458 GT3 is my fastest car on dragon tail. Fist time under 1:40 for me  , very good to be able to drive again this fantastic car.

For the gears.
-Install a custom gearbox
-Final gear maximum
-Top speed minimum
-Set each gear ratio
-Then final gear again

Enjoy your drive.

Thank you again for a cool tune. Took me some 20 laps to get familiar with the handling. Have to admit I must drive in pussy mode with TC 2, otherwise i am spinning every curve. Need more practice with seat and wheel/pedals. Did 1:41,248 now. Felt like flying through harbour chicane with little below 200 km/h.

Alfa 4C GR.4 hotlap Willow Springs. I have a 1:21.496 with this one. Also a pleasure to drive, a good alternative to the GTR.

Maybe this question is off topic, but regarding gear setups I often realize when starting a race from the grid my revs fall down and a couple of cars overtake me on first meters.
For example I reduced 1st gear ratio on the Lancer N300 then it was quite ok but still not satisfying. Since I dont use a clutch I wonder if I do something wrong in N300 class races in starting grid from green lights.
I do not have this problem with GT4 or GT3 class cars since they have enough power right from green light.
Any suggestions from you Pros?

For 4WD cars N300 or GTR GR.4 , you need to raise the 1st gear ratio till you´re able to perform a good standing start without falling your RPM at launch.
Even if this let a big gap between 1st and 2d gear the result will compense and you will gain some places in the way to lose.

Brands hatch GP tune . I have a 1:23.792 with it. Very easy fast tune, good torque, more traction and better performance out corner at medium + RPM.

Are the transmission values different after the update? I Set the top speed and final gear like you and the first 2 gears working fine, but gear 3-6 i cant set your values. Can you help me, please?
Not sure who's tune your using but I've noticed the same thing in only a couple of tunes of Pranaos. The N300 TT tune the gears don't even go up as high or low as he showed them being set at. Great tune otherwise just needed to test the gears out a little myself.

This tune is a great tune. But my OCD wanted me to tell you there is no SLS in this car name:D Just Mercedes AMG GT GT3 '16

Thats exact my problem too. I use now the Transmission settings from praiano63 great setting, but i hope TNR_5zigen can help. The car with this helpful settings is pure fun on Dragon Trail. Its my first time i have so much fun with GTS.

Got you by 6 tenths with a 48.613 :) Different tune though. Using a DS4 as well

Brakes 5

Transmission all the way to the left on final and top gear. Set 5th to 2.145

Great setup I'm using a g29 so maybe a little tinkering on my end to make it better. My best was a 49.7. Was racing against barret5 the other day dudes fast!

I have a wildly different tune than that, but a pretty similar lap time, 1:21.170. I will give yours a try tomorrow to see how it compares. I run a lower rear, and much more compression/rebound/stabilizers. Also I have never understood this dance everyone mentions about setting top speed to max, final drive, set gears, reset final drive, etc. what is all that about?

Here's 1st place at Willow for now, using the DS4.

Dang, that car has a lot of grip, impressive it can carry more mid corner speed than the wider and lighter Alfa 4C.

Nice time. I´ve seen the video from you with a GTR in first, great battle, too bad i´m working at this time, willow is a great track to race.
Dampers are not very responsives in GTS anyway , i´ve raised the rear ride height to give more eagerness for the long turn 2 but the car stay very stable with a high lsd decell to compense when excess of weight transfer on the rear during the the turns 3/4/5 where you need a good traction. Tell me later. Good luck.

@Gann0n187 How do you like the G29. I have a T300 and T500. Im thinking of getting a G29 to see how it compares. Its a sweet looking wheel for sure

Mmm.... Old FFB system, the belt system of T300 and T500 is lot better than the old helicoidal system of the G series.

G29 max of 900 degrees Vs. 1080 degrees on T 300/500

On G29 you can't change the rotation degrees on the fly on the wheel.... With T300/500 yes.

Don't understand that decision for Logitech... Even on the G25/27 you could change your rotation degrees on the fly....

The pedal set of the G29 is better as the standard T300, but compared to the T3PA or T3PA pro...that vantage goes away.

I have tried a T300 GT Edition and the G29, and really prefer the T300...yes,the Logitech is a good looking wheel with the aluminium and leather... But that is all...
Till now i got a T150 at home, and would say that it's less "ratling" than the G29 thanks to combine belt system with the helicoidal system that T150 uses.

Now I'm looking forward to upgrade and have the T300 GT Edition in mind (comes with T3PA pedal set) but I'm waiting to see the next "direct drive" trusthmaster wheel.

I let this compartive guide here... BTW.

Fully agree with, you tried the G29 and the T300 and the T300 wins hands down everytime.

Loved the G27 but won't be going back to Logitech anytime soon.

The T300 ist really a great wheel ... BUT ... some of my friends have great problems with it. For example: they regularly lost the FFB during the race in Project Cars.

The 650S feels very good stock on the DS4. The turn-in is amazing.
