Mitsubishi Lancer Evoltion Final Edition `15 - Nordschleife

8:15 in my hands, no late braking, you can make a strong driving input to print it in some corners, it help sometime , mostly in sequence of turns.

For the gears.
-install a custom gearbox
-Top speed as indicated on tune sheet
-Set each gear ratio
-Then final gear as indicated on tune sheet.

Nissan GT-R Gr.4 tune for Dragon Trail:

Suspension:

Ride height (mm): F 70 - R 80
Spring rate (kgf/mm): F 23.80 - R 23.30
Stabilizers: F 3 - R 4
Dampers (Compression): F 4 - R 6
Dampers (Rebound): F 3 - R 3
Camber angle: F 2.0 - R 1.5
Toe angle: F 0.05 - R 0.10
Brake balance: 5

Differential:
Initial Torque: F 5 - R 5
Acceleration Sensitivity: F 30 - R 20
Braking Sensitivity: F 5 - R 5

Transmission:
Leave Max Speed at 350, set Final Gear to 4.085 and then set each gear(I believe this is how I did it. You'll find out.)
1st: 3.135
2nd: 1.980
3rd: 1.460
4th: 1.155
5th: 0.953
6th: 0.778

Comment:
I did a decent time of 1:56.339, but I think with a few more laps I'd get it below 1:55. I'm not a pro racer, nor do I use a wheel at the moment, this time was set with a casual attitude. I think the tune is fun, uses all the gear ranges well, but has some understeering problems if you come in too fast. I was able to take the corners a lot faster than I thought though (without the tune / praiano's Brands Hatch tune I had to take the corners slower).

Test it out and give me your thoughts. I'm not pro at making tunes either, but I'm trying my best. Feedback is greatly apreciated so I can get better 👍

Thank you. This is a lovely setup. i was able to do 1:54:7 after 10 laps (wait for it with a ds4 since i have a foot injury :indiff:)
The guys at the top of the list are doing 1:49.xxx so with the wheel i think it is doable :mischievous:.

1:45.5** with a DS4 and only ABS on mild.

Done with transmission flip. Set final gear to maximun, then the top speed to minimum and then set the gears as shown above.
 
This car is 1:09.670 in my hands, i don´t think the top 4 america´s times are using so much rear wing but it was ok for me like this.
This is my faster car on big willow, not the easiest , hard to nail a perfect hotlap, but it´s ok and fast for a race at a very fast safe pace.

How did you set the gears for this tune? I think I'm missing something
Sorry this is an inverted flip to have a good 1st gear for a quick standing start.

what are your settings on the controller, I bet you don't need any steering help? ABS off?
Settings on the controller, steering sensitivity on 2 everything else off an abs on default, I can drive abs off thats how i first learned on GT5 with wheel, no assists no abs heavy damage league racing for about 2/3 years maybe more, on time trials my main aim is to set fastest time i can, therefore i must use Abs. Plus if car has abs in IRL then i'll probably use it regardless.

Here you can see, that all tunes depend on driving style. Of course I am not a pro like most of you, but for me this setup is the pain in the butt. Even with TC2 i am unable to perform a single lap without throwing the Godzilla into the sandy edges.
This post shall not be a criticism for praianos tunes, of course not - 95% of his tunes help me gaining speed and performance. But some small numbers wont help me reaching my target.
For those who watch this thread and think after setting up a car from the ideas posted here they can be Schumacher, Senna, Prost or someone else may fail.

Thx anyway for all the other tunes, that are working perfectly, praiano!

Haha, it´s writen in the description, (not the easiest), you´re right , i´m not used to do kind of aliens tune , this is not an 100% alien tune because if it was i couldn´t drive it at the max. It have much more rotation from what i do normally, i´ve just tried this time to reach the top cars on this track. I´m not too far but i didn´t reach them.
When i rarelly drive an alien tune, i have the same reaction as you now. Don´t worry, it was just an exercise , i´ll continue with my safe fast base cars that are majority in my garage always.

My question is it doesn't seem that the gears go as high as they need to on my screen first year only goes up to 3000 something and you have a set of 5000 if I'm not mistake even your pre-1.052 if I remember correctly figures didn't seem to have enough numbers and what you had said if that makes sense

With this , you have the possibility to make the gearbox as spreaded as possible. It offer the widest range of ratios from 1st to 6th.
-Final gear mminimum
-Top speed maximum

BUt you´re right , i didn´t use all the range available and it was not imperative to do so this time. I´m sure you can set the same ratios another way, the important is to find them on each gear ratios range.

The best thing was 1.11.34
with the gtr.
Today second round with the setup
and 1.10.34 .

I've never really done setups before so one question. My spring rate values seem to be in a different format; kgf/mm
Am I missing something because I can't enter the values you show.

Yes there is 3 or more units used in GTS around the world. 2 Would be enough in my opinion. For the moment i have only 2 options on my tune sheet so you need to use a converter.

1:33.644 in my hand for the moment. In the top ten. It seems that all the GR4 & GR3 after 1.05 need minimum RH front , max RH rear.... to go fast. The rear is so planted now that you can and have to use extreme settings all the time. PD need to fix this giving more physic range to the ride height effect.

Toyota FT1 setup for Willow, 1:10.955 personal best. Be careful, it is a little tail happy with this setup, so careful with the throttle at sector 2.

I used the transmission flip as always. Set final gear to maximum, then the top speed to minimum and then set the gears as shown above.

Note: the units I use are mm for ride height, N/mm for spring rate and kph for speed.
 
Has anyone yet found an appropriate setup for the Z4 GT3?
Every attempt to get the beauty running ends in spins spins spins....
 
Anybody got a tune for GR3 Jaguar at Willow? I am no tuner but am playing around with this car/track combo and feels good with the default settings but I know it could be so much better. IMO it's a nice combo.
