LOL! Wishful thinking... 8:15.437 to be correct :)
You're quick with your modified tune. With his Nürburgring tune I'm at 8:15 myself with a optimal of 8:13 something. If I was you I'd keep that tune and add a new spreadsheet just to compare :)

Haven't seen anyone make a tune for the Focus and I'm not necessarily the best but seeing as people with this car might be left out, here's one I bought over from GT6 and made for Brands Hatch Indy:

Nothing gear wise as I didn't really see a difference made with my attempts, but I might revisit it since this was made before the update.

I will keep the other one, as it has a different 'feel' which I rather liked. And I only spent an evening and a couple of races using it, so I would've continued tweaking it. The main issue which came up more in races was a tendancy to drift a little out of corners rather than cleanly getting power down.

However, with his 1.05 Ring tune I'm already at 8:14.715 with an optimal of 8:13.003, from 3 laps :) If I could only hit that sweet lap I'd be starting 4 or 5 places forward, halving my starting position!

edit: That time didn't register :banghead: and I wasn't able to match it again last night, getting too tired. So it's hard to say how much of that improvement was the tune, and how much was just me being more in the zone. GTS really needs to warn when it loses connection to the server, and needs to do a better job of reconnecting :grumpy:

Been working on a set up tonight for the GT-R @ Brands Hatch and found a pretty decent overall balance that runs mid to low 1'33's pretty regularly, made a quick vid to show how smooth it drives and the set up is at the end of the vid 👍
The laptime is not in the top 10 EU yet but I can see where to gain quite a bit and will try some more laps tomorrow.. Hope the set up is good for others

If both of you are interested I can post two or three Audi TTS setups that are based on @praiano63 TTS setup (basically I mixed his 1.04 & his 1.05 setups and spent a good 20hours testing out both).

I then mixed the two setups I tweaked into a "third" setup, this third setup has my preferred suspension settings & the gearbox of @praiano63 's latest TTS tune.

With setup #3 I managed an 8'14"300 with an optimal lap time of 8'13"xxx.

With setup #1 & #2 i managed an 8'14"xxx and a 8'15.001 with an optimal laptime of 8'12"2xx

I'm still not really sure which of the 3 I really prefer but I think someone with more skill than myself might be able to get under 8'10"000.

I will take some time and I'll try to make a nice spreadsheet like @praiano63 does with all values (by this I mean kgf/mm, lbf/in, N/m & ride height in both inches & mm).

Edit: I'm using a wheel (T500) so setups I'll share in the future might "work better" for wheel-users (I have no idea tbh because I rarely use a DS-controller in GTS).

I'm certainly interested, and would appreciate the effort! But it would be more as preparation for next time we get this class/track combi, since it rotates tonight and I'll probably only get time for a single lap before the races start.

It's interesting that the changes I made to praiano's DT tune were to move it somewhat toward the direction of his Nurb tune. Considering I don't really know what I'm doing with tuning GT's wierd physics, I stuck to changing the settings that seem to act more like real-world and don't get set to extreme values.

I use DS, and it's possible to be quite fast with it. I see some people driving and it can be pretty obvious they're using a DS, but I try to keep it smooth.

Of course to be really fast I'd need to improve everywhere, but my main problem at the moment is not getting the first sector consistent - my times vary by up to a whole second there, while the rest of the lap is more reliable (barring specific mistakes).

I have a 8:10 with the TTS.AUDI TTS COUPÉ 14

Thanks, I'll watch again before I do my warm-up lap :D

Anyone with a TT tune for Dragon Trail that want to share it with me?

Was on for a 7'22 on the GR4 Nurb event tonight and lost speed badly at 5'07 and the very last couple of turns :irked:

Took 1.3 secs off my best but I want more... my ghost was so far behind me at one point it had a different postcode 👎
Ah well!.. back to the drawing board :D

finally get settings which i like, this set only for no abs, with abs behaves very strange 8.08

all my set in the end

Nice time! Did you drive this with a wheel or with a DS4?

I tried your setup on a T500 without ABS but it's undriveable for me, the slightest touch of Kerb/grass launches my lancer into a 180-360 spin.

@praiano63 Ive been meaning to ask you this for some time but I keep forgetting, what ABS setting do you use for your tunes?

Here's a tutorial on my best lap at Dragon Trail with the Group 4 GTR. This if from the previous time this event was live, so it does include the 1:50.9 I ran awhile back. The tune is at the end.

Here's some onboard laps from todays updated events with set ups at the end of the video's...

Laptime 2'03.372

I still have not been given an N300 Audi TT yet :irked:

Well at least you got the Evo for a longer time now than I have it. Just got it yesterday and I tried so many settings since yesterday but I can't get faster on Dragon trail than 2:12:3x min Laptime (flying lap) and I have seen a lot of 2:02:xx flying lap times in top 10 ranking which was making me thinking. I've noticed my car is almost 20 km/h slower as a car which makes a 2:03min lap time. And a much more precise steering without squeeching tires so much.

I will try your setting after I had my breakfast and will tell you if it improves my lap time :)
But a last question I've got... What's your controlling type btw?

Good luck with it mate  I use a Logitech G29 racing wheel 👍

I have not really been racing lately due to the intense heat that I am not used to.. so I'm not sure if this set up still works with this car? PD might have made more changes? but hopefully no drastic changes :D

Not sure if you are the same person I just replied to on youtube? but better to answer twice than appear ignorant :P:tup:

Just posting this here as it feels very stable and safe as some of us non-aliens might like it.👍

Its basically a praiano tune i just tweaked a little to glue the rear at exiting the turn (allows pretty much slamming the pedal like gr4 GT-R) but still staying stable on curbs. Im using abs just to stay sane, but theres not much of a difference as using abs also reqiures some modulating for braking to turn in better. Got 1:23.69 after a tune and few laps - it is my first touch with the Gr3 GT-R, but recon I can do 1:22's with this if i have the motivation. As you can see the lap isnt by far a perfect one.. As the tune is very stable i assume this works well in competition where less than ideal defensive line is often required. 👍

Oh and using G29.

And to put the glory where it belongs - thanks to Praiano once again..
Brands Hatch tune.

For the gears.
-Final gear maximum
-Top speed minimum
-Set each gear ratio
-Then final gear again

Enjoy your drive.
