Hmm.. as far as I know you can't tune any car for the oval events, has something changed via an update? as I have not booted my PS4 today :odd:
Ahh, sorry on that, I totally forgot about that. Bommer, cool mate, I just try to imply GT Sport tune into GT6;)

Edit: No nothing has changed, it is still locked for the Oval Events as far as I can see on the YouTube'r Erickgtr3123 in his latest streams.

Hmm does nobody have a good tune for the gr3 Gtr n24 Schulz edition? I think mine is OK but I flew off too much for my taste actually. That's why I am not sharing it yet but if you think my fastest time with it 1:16,290 at big Willow Springs is fast I could post it:scared::lol:

This one by @praiano63 is really good (Link), potential to do times in the 1:08's with it. On my second flying lap, managed to take first spot on the EU leaderboard with it. Might give it another go, messed up last corner on my fastest lap. Good to see corner cutting fixed on this track, helped PDI a little with that so hopefully saved them some time.

Had some fun in the weekend with the Gr4 Volkswagen Scirocco. They really gave that car a boost in the 1.06 update, don't know if it's because of the change in physics or that they just changed the BoP. But I'm really liking this car now. I'd like to call it the GT-R killer. :D Qualified in top 3 every time and won 9 out of 10 races with it. That's something I don't usually do with the GT-R so the car just really is that good.

Anyway, I think I had enough fun for myself with it and want to share the tune I'm using to see what everyone else can do with it. Some credits to @EDK since his tune is actually the starting point of my tune, gearing is all his, stabilisers and dampers too since they don't seem to make much difference. I just modified the rest more to my liking untill I couldn't push out any faster laptimes anymore.

First the 3 fastest laptimes I had. This one at Willow Springs put me on #3 in Europe. Could've been a little bit better in sector 1 but the rest of the lap I don't think I could've improved any more.

Then at the Nurburgring Nordschleife which put me on #1 in Europe. Though shortly after Bredsladd1 beat me by 3 seconds in his own Scirocco. :P He's insanely fast with the Scirocco as well.

And now with the current event, Brands Hatch GP, which put me on #1 in Europe as well, though right now I believe I'm #4 or #5 already so need to improve it a little. But as you can see there's definately some time to be gained still.

And here's the tune I've been using, just a different final gear for the different tracks. Someone I gave it to was modifying it a bit more though and beat my time with it so I may have to make some more changes. ;)

For anyone trying it, good luck and have fun. :P Make sure you brake late, let it roll into the corners and get back on the throttle late as well to avoid too much understeer. And just keep the wheels spinning, not much use to try and reduce throttle, it only seems to make you slower.

Brands Hatch GTR GR4 1'32.565 and setup in video. First time I was able to bet my controller time with the wheel. 👍 Not sure what the euro times are, but that's 1st in NA by about 4 tenths. Please excuse the piss poor first sector. It's only my 3rd time on a wheel :D

I didn't see a tune in the vid? I don't have this car yet, but can't wait to see what she can do!

@Firehuntah Tried the VW, hello power understeer. Decided it is not my cup of tea and went back to the 4C. The 4C is so much more enjoyable to drive and probably the best in the corners. RWD FTW, surprised not many people use it.

Managed to get first with it, sloppy first half of lap, stronger second part which just saw me scrape into first position. Used @praiano63 tune with some changes. Car should be able to get into 1:31's if one aces lap.

Updated tune. As you can see if you compare most of my GR3 cars, they are tuned almost the same way, extreme settings are still working well with 1.06.
Very fast car , 6:33 in my hands on the ring. Very good superior top speed, can be a good option to race and pass last straight.

For the gears .
-Final gear maximum
-Top speed minimum
-Set each gear ratio
-Then final gear again

Enjoy your drive.

Seems like lowest front ride height, close to or highest rear right height; lowest front springs, highest rear springs; highest roll-bar (stabilizer) settings, lowest damper settings (comp & reb) is the general way to go right now. LSD settings are a little bit of a gamble in that you can try low initial/higher acceleration which gives better response to turning and throttle but can cause oversteer and wheelspin or the opposite which lowers response slightly but gives a little more understeer and stability- especially over curbs.

That's how I've been running it. Min/Max on ride height, min max on springs, max stabs or maxing one part of them and min on the other depending the car, min dampers or 2, then camber depends on the weight balance of car and what I want it to do. If it's 50/50 and I need more turn in I'll give it more rear camber in conjunction with negative toe. Like the lancer n300 I have 1.2 / 1.8 camber with -.15/-.20 toe. Camber and toe seem to be like the fine tuning adjustments with LSD. I usually run 5/5 initial 5/60 accel and 5/5 brake on a awd. That'll give it almost FWD characteristics with hardly any wheel spin.

Im a bit worried about this min/max working so well - something is off either on setups scales or physics.. :indiff:
Yeah same here. It's basically raw evidence that something is not right with the driving physics, or the parameters governing it. Also while the cars drive great with those min max values, I hate seeing race cars with the rear sticking up high and the nose slammed to the ground. Just doesn't look right aesthetically.

Very easy fast car, excelent grip and stability. Tune update 1.05

For the gears , do the same as GT6.
-Final gear maximum
-Top speed minimum
-Set each gear ratio
-Then final gear again

Enjoy your drive.

I found this to be a little too loose (maybe I'm driving more aggressively?) for BH, but an awesome starting point for my tune. Or it could be the updated physics *shrug* I'll try and post it up tonight.

Youre welcome my friend. Here is an updated 1.06 BHGP tune for the 4C GR4. Fun car and first place for the moment till no ETs around... Good luck.

My fastest time in a GTR was a 1'32.5xx and i got passed by someone in a 4c with a 1'32.2xx so while I am no 'alien' the 4c is definitely a contender for that top spot on Brands 👍

Sure it need an update, ill check it later. The aid that was stoping the rear end drift is setted at a lower level now. The alfa for example needed a lower rear spring rate and lower LSD decell.
This option add rear grip then you can stay on your fast line when you perform your driving input to reach the apex.
The result is also less eagerness that you compense reducing LSD decell for the car pointing better to the same apex.

A very fast GR3 for the Nordschleife. I have a 6:36.xxx first session.

Very good tune this, thanks for that 👍 . It's a bit unstable on corner exit so I keep switching on/off TCS in the middle of the lap.
