Cool seat. Looks like professionally build racing setup. Did you do it by your self đź‘Ť or buy it?

I did mine by myself. Always wanted to have racing setup but never trust those made by big companies. I was afraid that it won't fit me. So i decided to make it. Looks amateur but works fantastic. I did all measures and then weld it together.

Hmm... maybe this is where the difference lies! I just built something out of an old (lavender coloured!) chair and a piece of a shelve I had lying around. I use it while sitting on my bed or sofa, not a fancy schmancy Recaro! Thats the good thing: Its far more portable than your rig! :D

Heh, forget about share sound. I wish we could use Agera on ps3 :grumpy: and then the game won't stop in the middle of our play :yuck:

Yep, new wheel needed, but will try and fix the cheap and nasty paddle sometime.

First though my boy's 18th on the 26th, so a set of REAL wheels for him....insurance I don't even want to think about.:ouch:

Here's a little video I made yesterday of a Renault MĂ©gane RS at NĂĽrburgring Sprint. Don't mind my less-than-perfect driving style (and please close your eyes at the first part of the chicane ) Watch at 720p for best quality.

SHIFT 1 RUN at the old 10 rate, and i must say it felt so good the FFB is so much stronger than SHIFT 2. lap 2 i hit a 146.592 1sec off my old pace really

Mee too, one of my favs in Shift 2! Has such a nice flow to it and some fabolous curves.

Nice vid also @NLxAROSA, nice infights - though some of those I wouldnt have survived without spinning or gettin stickied! I wonder if there is something in collisions that I m missing..?

There are differences between the PC and PS3 versions, so that may very well be possible. I use the following settings: Elite handling model, no assists except ABS set to 'low'. Also, it took me 'a few' takes to get a movie without crashes or spins. ;) I did rub a bit of paint with some cars in this particular movie, but no serious contact was made (as opposed to previous attempts, which sent both cars spinning out).

All my videos are recorded on PC. I use FRAPS for recording, full-size (1280x720), 30FPS. Results in roughly 1GB/minute.

I also own a Hauppauge HD-PVR, which I use to record videos from the PS3.

BTW: Didnt want to start a new thread on it but at Leno's Garage there is the most in detail video to date of the Pagani Huayra. And oh my frrrrknnnn gawwd this thing is monumental! Or just mental, I still dunno.

I really didnt like the look of the front at first and used to find the interior tacky but that thing really starts to look like the next level of hypercars. Gonna go test it in S2U again right now!

Update: And its bad. They totally missed the point. Sound, feel, handling - all way off and not a good representation. :(

Maybe its me, but the trajectory of the nose of the car in the video above, as well as the nurburgring video on page 1 basically show the car drifting around every corner. i suppose it gives a better view of the apex, but the nose of the car is pointed way too deep for it to be realistic. It does not match any real hood cam videos of race cars going around tracks.

'69 Shelby GT500 at Laguna Seca, 1-lap race. Best viewed at 720p. :)
