Shortly after i finally did it.
New World Record for this Even is 6:47:459
I had to turn ON racing line which i am really ashamed, it help in few places but the lap it's not smoothest as i want to be. On 5 minute 15 second there is sudden drop on the track. I've always slow down there because I fear that dark place

6:49:957 however i am starting a row back and i am around 1.2 secs slower because of it and also have 4 cars to pass watching ussr lap with the clock shows at the start he crosses the line around 3 secs im crossing around 4.3, give or take then 4 cars to pass, ill never catch you guys,
how do you get to start in 4th????

You guys got me thinking about the Modern Invitational A. So I set me a doable goal (or I hoped so): to beat the national record...
After ~1h of playing I did it (I had guest so give me a break) and took 4s off. That gave me 7:03.xxx and then the guest gone and I though I ought to join the sub 7m club... a much more daunting task....
3h to shave those 3 last seconds... and more. 6:58.117 as you guys can check in Autolog.
So, to all of you, a big thanks for inspiration 👍
PS: as added bonus, I'm in the top 5 on my speed wall

You know what was the most fun for me while trying to beat that event? When my Mom came to visit while I was on a really good lap: She came in, I got distracted for a second, spin, heavy crash, lots of frustrated shouting, swearing and arms waving! My Mom laughed and said in a wise-a** tone: "You know, you outta drive on the road, not into the barrier..."
I was like "Ok then, show me how its done, Mrs Schumacher!" and placed her in my rig. After explaining what everything does, including the pedals (she has a driving license, btw) she started her first ever Shift 2 race... and then her second after a first corner pileup cause she didnt break... and then her 3rd cause she dead-stopped in the middle of the corner and was hit and knocked out... and then her forth cause she slowly crawled round the corner and then mashed the throttle while in the grass and still full throttled when the car faced the barrier, dead-on... and then her fifth etc etc etc. She never made it to the 2nd curve but she had lots of fun smashing millions worth of supercars. She would have wiped out half a yearly production of MP4-12Cs that day but hey... Moms, what can you do?!
