I would be interested in seeing the Nurburgring edition of the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa and seeing if it's any good on the Nurburgring as it's name suggests :crazy: .

But you see those other cars you ' ve mentioned every day, yeah right. And I have never seen any Holden in europe, still I'd love them in the game and enjoy the Commodore SS and Monaro we already have! Btw Opel are badged as Buick's in your country! Since around 2005 or 06. Transformers, Bumblebees friends? (forgot their names) are Opel/Buicks! salute
</shnip>

I see those more cars more than I see Opels! :lol:

I love Holden and the AU cars as well, despite never having seen one before, but the Opels/Buicks just aren't the same.

Buick is, IMHO, a fading badge.

Race cars?

Omega

Astra

Opel speedster diesel concept. 1.3bhp diesel hybrid. Only 2 in existence, very lightweight, very quick, and very economical :-)

I would love to see Opel/Vauxhall in the OCD! Having had several of them in RL... ;)

@Flaco13:
Little correction: The Omega (1st. Gen) and the Senator (2. Gen) had a straight-6 engine. The V6 was introduced in the Omega B. Starting in '94! ;)

I have absolutely no problem to admit that I made a mistake! :) Thank you for correcting, Omegator24V.

Wich Opel/Vaux. would you like seeing in the game the most? just curious :dopey:

My mind goes back to 1985....I owned an ASCONA B 2.0S tuned and oversized to 2.2 with 2 double Weber 45 DCOE without any air filter ...With a 4 gear transmission over 200km/h in Tachometer...I had for "breakfast" most of MkII Escort 1.8-2.0 in Athens...Golden Oldies...

Premium Opel and Vauxhall Calibra 24V Touring Car

and it's rival Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti DTM in premium - both livery, Dekra and Martini :embarrassed:

@Flaco:

I'd wish for alot of Opel/Vauxhall... But just to name a few:
Kadett C (+Racetrim)
Kadett E GSI
Ascona and/or Manta 400
Lotus Omega (Premium!)
Omega 500 (Road going Version of the DTM Car)
Maybe even the normal Omega 3000 (Have one myself.-Just needs to be restored!)

Also agree with previous Posters: All the '90 DTM (Alfa, Merc, and so on) Would be cool to have a Classic DTM Race Series!! ;)

And then the V8 Race versions: Astra V8 and Omega V8 (Jonny Ceccotto)

That's about it for a Start! ;-D

Agreed wirh Traviizer! VXR Bathurst!! And the Newer VXR/OPC Corsa and Astra models! Also the Insigna OPC!?
But i guess, we can only dream....

Given that if Opel/Vauxhall were made premium, it would be bland models such as Corsas, Astras and Vectras that made it into the Dealer.

Don't get me wrong, if we could get a premium Manta, Commodore etc. then I would be the first In line to buy.

However, im still voting 'No', since my first point Is the most probable.

Never been much of a fan of Vauxhall cars, but i guess more cars is always good? I hadn't noticed but aren't they already in the game? Havent played GT5 in months, they were certaintly in previous versions of the game.

Or are they only in as standards? I'm guessing that is the case. More premiums always good, but they would not be near the top of my priority list.

Oh god, imagine all the wee chavs and neds coming out in their pimped up Corsa's, Nova's, Astra's and Cavalier's.
It would be like real life for me be but in GT5 :indiff:

I voted no on NCD.

Expanding the UCD, yes certainly.
The difference:
* Photomode, not really the thing I would go for with these cars.
* Interior modelling (not really their strong point IMHO)
* The new models are not that interesting, again my opinion

DLC would probably mean NCD though.

P.S. My father has driven Opel from 1960-1992, to move to Oldsmobile and Cadillac.

Edit I believe acronyms are against the AUP:
NCD: New Car Dealership
DLC: Downloadable Content
UCD: Used Car Dealership

Regarding Vauxhall, wouldn't mind Gerry Marshall's 'Baby Bertha' Firenza.

Or the regular Firenza 'Droop Snoot'.

Sorry but that doesn't make any sense to me, a full detailed cockpit view is always preferable regardless of how it looks (should some cars have no visible exterior just because they're ugly?), nevermind that what is ugly or not is subjective (like your other points).
Besides, any new addition is going to be Premium anyway, like you admitted.

And yet you used 4 in your post.
Practice what you preach...:)
