Should PD give us one last gift before closing the online portion down?

They should give us one of every car before the online goes away, as well as every single paint chip In the game. and all of the dlc for free

Considering hacking tools are still around for GT5, you can get all the cars and paint chips and what-not. Don't do what I did though, I accidentally unlocked and gave me everything in the game, and it set the remaining endurance races as gold. It also gave me all the trophies in the game... a constant notification tone for 10 minutes

There really is nothing much PD can give out, besides free DLC for GT5.

Hacking is no good.

I was thinking a large amount of cash or some very decent car tickets as a send off to GT5 and to reward the players who still play the game.

It would be a shame and missed opportunity to just close the online portion with nothing happening at all, any thoughts?
All cars for free, all seasonals downloaded.

Lift all the stupid restrictions in Arcade Mode, like not being able to do a 2 player race on weather-changing tracks, revert some of the changes to the engine sounds like the S7 sounding like crap when it actually sounded good before.

Which components will go away once the servers are shut down? Will the season events disappear?

Its funny, I just restarted GT5 after getting frustrated with GT6.... and I'm really enjoying the seasonals!!

When is the scheduled date to shut down again?

R.

EDIT: I found it... pretty much everything gets turned off. Bummer.

I think that thing is hard to have: too much computational power needed.

This makes no sense to me. So where is the PS3 getting it's power when it renders 16 cars on a wet circuit? That's 14 more cars than 2 player mode.
This is right. I thought we were talking about 2 players AND other cars...
However, I think the issue with 2 human players may be that 2 human players do many different moves while driving, instead of 1 human player and 15 scripted cars and effects...
But it's only a theory...

If anything, all of the unstandard content, such as the DLC cars and tracks, and maybe even the X2010 5G should become available so they don't get locked away and never to be seen again. Quite, no- most unlikely to happen though, especially since the majority of that content is already on GT6...

With closed servers now finally there isn´t a problema with hacking for those who still haven´t moved to GT6, hybridate and hack away!

They should open it up and let us gift as many items per day as we like last 30 days.
And lift the the restriction for trading all of the blacklisted cars also, no harm in that.

But seriously, I would be very happy, just to have some permanent seasonal events. 👍

They should allow us to change all of the options such as FOV (basically make the secret menu no longer secret). Give us access to all of the tuning options, give everyone the dlcs for free, remove credit cap and add 20million credits.

I like the idea of bringing back the secret menu! I opened the secret menu on my copy of GT5:P (edit, no, that should be GT5: P, silly automatic emoticons :D) last year, it's a lot of fun to fiddle around with stuff.

edit: Here's an idea, on the last day, Kaz and other members of PD could have shuffle races against us!
