^^^lol, We wish. The little pictures we have do prove a point, that standards can look pretty good.

Yes. Definitely. I'm very shocked it's standard to be honest. No wonder they didn't show it in any of the screens/trailers.

Another weird decision by PD/KY.

I voted yes but i honestly don't care for this car. It probably handles like crap anyway but i'm very aware of its status in the world of cars today therefore it should've been premium. Kaz knows best though. :-p

ROFLMAO. Kaz needs time management courses. He said they had 3D running from the start? He said we'd be shocked by what they've put into GT5. Threads like these prove it isnt the case. Kaz said they always had an intention of damage , weather, day/night transitions. Thats pure PR bs. That stuff was worked on within the last year or two. 3D also contributed to this games pitfalls

There arent any "pitfalls" in this game.

I'm curious to know how you know all this was worked on in the last year or two. Do you work at PD? My guess would be no, so it's time to quit blabbing away.

You seem to know for a fact that PD had the choice of being able to put this car into the game as a premium model. Do you own one and did you tell them they could take photos of your car?

I think that the Veyron is going too be in the middle of Premium and Standard, They had to model it from scratch so its not going to be like those imported from gt4, we have seen pics of it and it looks nearly premium so I guess they weren't able to model it right up too premium quality however have said its standard just too safe. It was in gtpsp so it has too be in gt5 by kz's own words, its in the game thats all that matters.

I for one am shocked. I'm shocked that they thought it would be better to make the Prius a premium over cars like the Veyron, the current RS4 or even the classic Mk2 Golf GTi.

I'm not that surprised at the Prius. It's a very popular, widely owned car. On the basis of part of GT being about the ability to drive your own car it would have been a mistake not to make it a premium.

Still, no premium Veyron is just...:ouch: Love it or hate it, it's one of the few cars in the last decade that all petrolheads have an opinion on. It's undoubtably a feat of engineering excellence, and to this day it remains somewhat of a figurehead for high performance road cars. Having it as standard seems like a very odd choice.

I personally, do not really like the Veyron. It's ok I guess, but not anything to write home about. However, I voted yes, the car should be premium. Even if I don't care for it, it is still one of the most iconic cars of the decade and to not have it premium is kind of foolish.

On another note, I could care less about the Standard/Premium differences in cars. It will be an incredible game either way.

I personally like the Veyron, even more so the Super Sport. I'm not saying it's a beautiful car, because it isn't really, but I was watching a programme the other day about how the Veyron is made and it's quite something, as was watching it race the plane and winning on Top Gear.

In answer to the poll, I voted yes, it should have been a Premium car, but to be honest, I like driving in third person so I can see the car I'm driving, so the Veyron being Standard certainly won't stop me from driving it.

I played with the Veyron in GTPSP, and I can definitely say it has horrible handling. Definitely not fun on a circuit as it's hard to grasp how much braking you need and most of the time you drive straight into the gravel. It's simply not a very fun car to drive on a circuit. It's constantly smashing the gas on straight, then smashing the brakes to a near stop on a turn, then hitting the gas once again when the car is on a straight again.

you're out of your mind man. you don't know how to drive it. If it handles so bad how did I get a 6:38 at nurburgring? no other supercar in GT PSP comes close & you say it handles bad, ok buddy

A bit off topic: Anyone think that an engine upgrade would basically make the original Veyron perform like the Super Sport version? Maybe with other upgrades it could be possible to reach 432km/h.

I was already think about that. like tuning the F430 in GT5p to be a scuderia

All he's saying is that it isn't fun to drive. Not fun to drive/crap handling is not equal to slow.

I assume the reason for the close model year versions of the same car would have been the inability to source a matching one when they were modelling them, as all of the Premium cars were remodeled.

The put the actual PSP model in GT5,thats why its standard. Im shocked and disgusted by this. I mean, Im not the Veyrons biggest fan, but come on! For the guys that voted no, are you really car enthusiasts? Or car fanboys? If the car has merit. Put it in!

thank you. Not one of the turds that voted no had an even half logical reason. nobody understood what I wrote. It's not whether you like it or would like to drive it, it's whether its iconic status should earn it fair treatment instead of second class BS

Only the fastest elephant we're talking about here.

We're not judging how fast it goes around a track. We're judging it by how it's recognized in the automotive industry. But I guess being the fastest production car in the world is nothing, isn't it? Might as well revoke Usain Bolt's fastest 100m sprint.

YES!!! LOL well said man
