As far as how fast the Veyron is I will say that on Forza 3 It is strong on the drag strip no doubt. Also on the Benchmark ring [ much like the big oval test track on GT4] is has the top times in at least 1 class.

I do not recall seeing it near the top of the boards in any other area. I have personally driven in on a few high speed tracks and find that I can beat its lap records with several other super cars on pretty much every track in the game except the one mentioned above and in anything other than a drag race I can usually beat it even on the track where it holds the record. Mind you I can't beat it's lap record but I can get a better average lap.

Once the tyres have warmed, it can be leaned on quite nicely on a wide track such as Sebring.

I played with the Veyron in GTPSP, and I can definitely say it has horrible handling. Definitely not fun on a circuit as it's hard to grasp how much braking you need and most of the time you drive straight into the gravel. It's simply not a very fun car to drive on a circuit. It's constantly smashing the gas on straight, then smashing the brakes to a near stop on a turn, then hitting the gas once again when the car is on a straight again.

Try putting Sports tyres on the back and Racing ones on the front, it becomes nice and slidey. 👍

All cars should be premium for a start off, Also I don't really like the Veyron its a ghastly looking car but as Jeremy Clarkson once stated its a concorde moment so if anything this car does not deserve to be put in the second class aka Standard

The problem with getting a car like this as premium is how they could do it. They need to take 4 million photographs from 4 million different angles and positions to get it right. They need to find a Veyron owner that will let them do this otherwise it's not possible. To get the details right/how they want it for premium vehicles it may not be possible unless someone lets them. Lets face it there isn't a lot of Veyrons lying about for them to just walk in and take photos of

No, the Veyron isn't the prettiest car. I don't like it at all actually, but it deservers to be a premium, even if I don't like it.

Was looking forward to the cream leather inside with that 1001 dial and what not. Standards are a downer in that respect but I suppose on the plus side, it has the veyron.

Premium cars don't have to be pretty, nor fast (Kubelwagen and Schwimmwagen). It sounds like Kaz wanted to help preserve the history of the automobile with GT5, and I would expect alot of that is through premium models. That is why I expected this to be premium.

This is why I thought it wasn't premium as well. Trying to find an owner to let them scan or take photos of the car must have been a hard enough task to not succeed. I think having the Miura in the game is beyond a HUGE success. It is the ONLY one of it's kind. There's more Veyrons than Miuras, and getting a Veyron to photograph it isn't an easy task.

I really don't see how it can be a standard model. It's a new addition to the series so if it's a standard model that means that they have modelled it to a gt4 level of detail which would make no sense. Plus we have seen the screens from GTPSP that look like a premium model

I dont understand that as well.

The Veyron is quite a curious bit of kit. Playing the numbers game it is certainly an iconic car, however, the cars we tend to really love are flawed in their nature. An F40 eschews comfort for raw performance, an E30 M3 is all about balance, any 911 uses a different engine placement than anyone else. A Veyron tries to have its cake and eat it too by wanting all the outright performance, all the luxury, all the stability and it came out more than a little on the heavy side. In my eyes it doesn't move the game on, just tries to play all the games. I think it deserves to be premium, but there are many other cars with historical significance and a flawed honesty that will hold a special place in our hearts for a much longer time than a Veyron. Really, it would be a treat if these cars got the honour first.

Every interesting car should be premium so yes. There are so many duplicate premiums that I think their promise about 200 premium cars was quite misleading.

There actually werent many duplicates for the premiums. 4 different skylines for premium compared to the 30 for standard.

In GT5 terms, the Veyron is nothing special, not the fastest, not the lightest, not the best cornering, not anything. They should p ut in more F1 cars or the CCX or Agera

Did anyone actually drive the Veyron in GTPSP?

^^Yes. When fine tuned for oversteer, it was a nimble thing in low to medium speed and had stability and grip like it was on rails, but understeered at high speed.
