Damn, $20?! If the door isnt falling off the hinges, that is a steal!
Some of the screws were loose* (when I tightened a couple on the legs, BBQ... remnants oozed out ) and there's some minor surface rust but again, for $20...

I have a single, I'll see how accurate the built-in one on the smoker is and go from there. But something like a Meater was being considered. :)
As for heating, it is really about preference.

Thanks for the tips. 👍 I think my first attempt with it will be pork with apple wood again but I'll soak the wood in apple juice. See if that does any good.

*But don't we all?
Uh...BRB calculating airfare to your house.

Pellets really are kind of great.

This show came up in discussion last night at dinner and so I was compelled to hop on Amazon this morning and order it:

That takes me back. A coworker and I often reminisce. I'll likely be getting Macgyver, Kung Fu, Highlander and Airhawk once my son is of an appropriate age.

After killing my mouse with coffee, I went ahead and joined the wireless life. So far I'm loving it. Looking forward for some 3D printed modding

I have two of these, one at work and one at home, and am very happy with the switch to a wireless mouse. For the foreseeable future, I cannot see myself going to back to a wired mouse.

Did you mean Airwolf here? With the last name Hawke, the mix-up is understandable. I pulled the trigger on that today.

Not seeing Kung Fu on Blu-ray; I need that. I'll get MacGyver at some point, but I'm fine with having it on DVD for now, and I wasn't a fan of the small screen Highlander.

Yeah. Totally meant airwolf. My bad...

As for definition. I take them in any they come on. In fact, I wouldn't mind finding an old tube TV to hook my VCR up too and getting them all in that format

I got this a few days ago.

Next to the Simpsons this was my favorite show as a kid and watching it as a grown up I'm seriously questioning my Mom's parenting decisions.
Rocko definitely has a special place in my heart. Just one of many great cartoons from probably one of the best era's of cartoons.

Apparently Static Cling is finally coming out, I fully plan on getting a Netflix subscription to watch it.

I agree, granted I fully admit I'm biased since I grew up with them and haven't really watched any modern cartoons outside of Rick & Morty.

More models and other hobby stuff, lol...

I have absolutely no idea. Supposedly, an overclocked 1080 Ti is as fast as an RTX2080 but I'm not overclocking wizard, nor am I really interested in learning.
For the most part. Probably. As more games implement ray tracing though, even the rtx2060 would out perform the 1080 ti.
However, ray trace has had a slow pick up, and is a selectable graphics option so far.
What language is that?
It's the language of computer wizard.

Should I buy a brand new GTX 1080 Ti for €499?

Yes. Unless you can get something better for around the same price.

Would an RTX2070 do better?

On average? No. A 1080 Ti is anywhere from 5-10% faster at the very least. A 2070 is faster than a 1080, not the Ti.

He would be giving up on dedicated ray tracing hardware though, but if that doesn't matter then it's a null point.

You don't need to be a "wizard" to overclock. :P

My first time going to a Formula 1 race, and my first time flying into Europe. I'm flying to Amsterdam, Belgium and Germany for a bit.

After this, that's it on the trips. No more international traveling util I graduate college.

Bottom right in this picture on the infield is were we always stand. There is a big TV on the other side. :) Enjoy it and be nice to the folks wearing orange.

Good to know. That looks like a good spot to see overtaking, and the orange wearers are usually the most fun looking.

There's not much overtaking there really. Do you have grand stand tickets or just field tickets? We usually stand there because it is closest to the campsite entrance. Shortest route to beer and bbq :)
